"I knew I was a boy when I was a toddler. I was writing fake love letters and signing them 'Jason.' Every little aspect of my life, that is who I was, who I am, and who I knew myself to be."

Oxford dictionary defines a toddler as

a young child who is just beginning to walk.

All these trans children were so advanced way beyond their years! Instead of babbling nonsense like most toddlers do, Jazz Jennings as a bairn supposedly spoke in full, grammatically-correct sentences and asked when the good fairy was coming to turn his penis into a vagina. And now El Page tops Jazz by saying that when she was just learning to stand upright and toddle around, she not only could read and write already - she could write love letters!

When I was around 5, I was scared about taking a bath because I thought jello would come out of the faucet like it did in the Ghostbusters movie. But here's Jazz and Ellen waxing poetic about vaginas and writing love letters with an alter ego at age 3. Fuck outta here with that shit.

I dont doubt these people are nuts, but they are so far into the cult, they're having false memories being implanted in them.

When I was around 5, I was also afraid of taking baths and any situation that involved removing my underwear coz my mother had explained that girls/women get pregnant when a seed is placed up inside us where the womb is - but she didn't say how exactly the seed got in there. So I went through a brief period when I was deathly afraid that a seed would get inside me and I'd end up pregnant before starting first grade. For extra protection, I began wearing several pairs of underpants at once - and one day I wore my PJ bottoms to kindergarten scrunched up under my skirt too. Fortunately, the teacher noticed this when I was climbing the jungle gym and called my mom, who took me aside and filled me in on the piece of the puzzle I was missing... LOL.

Lol, that's actually hilarious.

This is such a perfect story. I remember having a similar magical thinking, trying to make sense of the world as I picked up little tidbits about babies, pregnancy, and private parts. I distinctly remember wondering when my penis would grow in, because my older brother had one. I figured once I was his age, I'd have one too. He might've been 6 at the oldest, I would've been 2 or 3. I may have even asked my mom if it was going to happen. I identified with what I could see on him in our shared baths, versus my mom's full bush. I didn't even think to ask when I'd get my bush like mom.

LOL, your mention of your mom's bush reminds me: when I was a teenager I used to take my little sister in the shower with me, coz that was easier than giving her a bath. This meant her face was around the level of my crotch. She used to call my pubic hair "fur" & was quite taken with it. I'd hear her tell her little playmates out of the blue, "My sister Mark has really nice fur."

If Jazz and El Page actually were that developmentally advanced as toddlers, then their current issues are most likely due to their extreme giftedness rather than "born in the wrong body." Highly gifted children tend to be anxious, extremely sensitive perfectionists who overthink every little damn thing. They also have difficulty relating to other children. There is also some overlap between the characteristics of giftedness and autism/Asperger's. But they're still little kids and they need adults to provide them with guidance instead of agreeing that yes, Jazz, you really are a girl because boys don't like sparkly toys and Broadway showtunes.

Situation with Jazz is just parental abuse. All Jazz is speaking previously was told to him by his parents, and today it is just a way to cope with trauma.

With El Page it is just lies. She was all the time saying that she is a woman and proud to be lesbian, but she is told all the time that lesbian love is taboo and only heterosexual love is fine, she was denied many roles because she is lesbian, so she was speaking that society is very lesbophobic and she has huge issues of being lesbian, she said she will always be lesbian and will always play lesbian roles to reduce lesbophobia. She was speaking about misogyny in Hollywood and how it is harder to get any roles for a female if you aren't super-sexy woman, and she was jelous that men are not oppressed or harassed like lesbians are. However, last 3-4 years she became very anxious and depressed, stopped all social media interractions, married with a very "pro-gender ideology" woman and was living in Tranada (I wonder if her wife now after encountering lesbian erasure and trans the gay away - still such a gender ideology supporter or she realized what atrocities she was supporting?). Looks like she just breaked down and tried to excape all the hate she was receiving - and by that she shown really bad example for young lesbians, that "even if you are rich, famous and privileged - lesbophobia is still huge and can break you, you can't escape lesbophobia, so trans the gay away and be praised as a man instead". So she is clearly lying about her "being a boy", mostly lying to herself.

Maybe she was also denied many roles because she's not that good, and her vocal fry is death.

In Hollywood there is rule not to film homosexual people in heterosexual relationship, rule is not that old, around 10 years old. However, they can film heterosexual actor in homosexual role, so it is hypocrytical.

In Hollywood there is rule not to film homosexual people in heterosexual relationship, rule is not that old, around 10 years old.

So how do you explain this scene with Luke Evans from just a couple of years ago? https://youtu.be/J-CruNO9qiw?t=56

And all these recent steamy Luke Evans heterosex scenes? https://youtu.be/8ZpcYTZoMIY https://youtu.be/14xQ4w_qsQY

Matt Bomer was still starring as a straight guy in White Collar in 2014. I recall quite a few sexy scenes and plenty of smooching https://youtu.be/3JoHoLTtam0 I thought Bomer still got a lot of diverse roles.

Jim Parsons was the star on Big Bang Theory, and he played a heterosexual (albeit nerdy) guy with a GF. That ran through 2019. Neil Patrick Harris played an overt womanizer on How I Met Your Mother, which ran through 2014.

Jane Lynch, Sara Gilbert, Sarah Paulson, Maria Bello, T. R. Knight, Jodie Foster, Zachary Quinto, Lily Tomlin- I don't believe none of them have been allowed to play het people in het relationships on film for a decade now.

Surely there can be exceptions to the rules, especially among males (or rarely with actors/actresses who have very long careers and came out just recently, so most people still thinks they are hetero). However, all named by you examples are either series started long before that, or actors never did coming out and holding relationship in secret, like with Jim Parsons.

[–]kwallio 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Bomer's career kinda tanked when he came out. He was only offered gay roles for a while. I guess it was an open secret in hollywood that he was gay but as long as he wasn't out it wasn't a big deal. Now he's out and having problems finding roles.

FWIW, I read that El Page recently filed for divorce from her wife after separating from her last summer. It seems overall that she's a very troubled and unhappy person.

[–]MarkTwainiac 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

It was reported in the press in late January that Page had filed for a contested divorce in NY State Supreme Court. However, no record of the case comes up in the state database, which means either that no request has been made for judicial intervention (yet) or that a judge has been assigned already and has sealed the case.

I've always eschewed terms such as "gifted child" and "highly gifted children" because such labels give the impression that the children to whom adults apply them are developmentally advanced in all respects. When, IMO and observation, such children are usually advanced only in one or two very narrow respects having to do with some specific aspects of intellectual or artistic development. In other words, they are "children who are gifted/advanced in X and Y way", not "gifted children" overall who are ahead of their peers in all areas.

Moreover, my observation is that a lot of kids who get anointed "gifted children" actually have developmental delays and deficits in other areas they're not advanced in - such as physical development (coordination, for example), emotional development and social development. This is one of the reasons many of these kids end up with maladaptive behaviors/coping mechanisms, mental health problems and personality disorders. And few friends.

Finally, pretty much every kid I've ever met who has been labelled a "gifted child" has had at least one attention-seeking, unfulfilled, completely insufferable asshole parent who didn't feel they lived up to their own perceived potential when they were "gifted children" themselves - and were/are hellbent on trying to "do over" their own childhoods by emphasizing the "specialness," "giftedness," precocity and supposed "genius" of their own kids.

Yeah, I am sure she knew she was a boy/man all those years in which she claimed to be a victim of lesbophobia and mysogyny. 😒

Katharine Hepburn went by Jimmy as a kid.

At the age of nine, Hepburn had her head shaved, then ran and put on her older brother’s clothes. “I had a phase as a child when I wished I was a boy because I thought boys had all the fun,” she told biographer Charlotte Chandler, in I Know Where I’m Going: Katharine Hepburn: A Personal Biography. “I did wish I could be a boy, so I decided I wanted people to call me Jimmy. I just liked the name Jimmy. I told my family I wanted to be called Jimmy.” An actress in the making, Hepburn’s cross-dressing alter ego was a part she played. “I created Jimmy for the others,” she emphasized to Chandler. “Inside I never felt like Jimmy.”

I developed a male alter ego as a child too. If anyone has seen the French film "Tomboy", it's pretty accurate to our experiences. Just wanting to have unrestricted lives without our moms worrying about us and wanting us to be pretty. And we (Hepburn and Page) liked girls... so being a boy seemed like the only option to get girls. I knew at age 5 that I wanted to be a boy with a girlfriend.

Around age 5 or 6, I knew I didn't want to marry or have kids. Not because I didn't like boys, just because I got the impression from my peers that wives did nothing but cook, clean, and raise kids, and I didn't want to do those things. But yeah, regardless, the most logical explanation for girls like this is that they want the freedom given to boys. Not that they're literally boys.

"All trans people are so different, and my story's absolutely just my story. But yes, when I was a little kid, absolutely, 100%, I was a boy," Page said. "I knew I was a boy when I was a toddler. I was writing fake love letters and signing them 'Jason.' Every little aspect of my life, that is who I was, who I am, and who I knew myself to be."

BS.

For those who don't know much about child development, the above link explains pretty well what young children understand (and don't understand) about boys vs. girls.

Fours, in particular, use such features as clothing and length of hair to distinguish gender.

So gender ideologists have brain development of an around four years old kid?

Ah yes, she knew when she was a toddler, that’s why it took 30+ years to manifest. Perfectly sensible, not at all the same self justifying argument heard time immemorial.

Personally I think she’s just traumatised from Juno. There is nothing masculine about Ellen Page, this whole thing is just sad to watch.

This article amuses me a bit because in the Time Magazine interview, E. Page was claiming to have known then were a boy at age 10, when they were expressing a desire for short hair. It seems each time E opens their mouth, there's a new narrative.

The age at which trans-identified people claim they "knew" they were the opposite sex tends to get younger and younger the more chances they get to tell their retconned narratives of childhood.

My kid also knew he was a boy as a toddler. At age 4 or 5 he expressed "knowledge" that girls were children with long hair who wore dresses liked princesses, and that boys were children who had short hair and liked dinosaurs. He had also somehow "learned" that orange was a boy colour and that cats were all girls. He was only vaguely aware of penises and vaginas at that age, and it took longer for that particular lesson to stick. And my kid was and is pretty age-typical.

It's the job of parents and other trusted adults to correct children who "know" that stereotypes define sex, not reinforce those misconceptions. With the guidance of adults, my kid eventually grew out of his childish ideas. Apparently Page never did.

I get what you're saying. I hated anything that was blue when I was at that age bcause I noticed it was associated with boys, but that's because I didn't understand how arbitrary what the colour represents as a little kid. I also thought blue was a pretty ugly colour. Pink once upon a time was associated with boys and I loved pink, does that mean I knew what gender I was? I knew that whatever I was born with is what I am and favoured colours which represents me in society (aside from finding pink aesthetically appealing at the time), not that me liking the colours itself indicate my gender. These days I like less pink and more blue, by their logic I'm "non-binary".

That interview just pissed me right off. Now she’s joined the bro hood she’s advocating for men’s rights to women’s sports, using the threat of suicide as an argument. I guess the impact on actual women is no longer important to her, we’re just collateral damage and what does that matter when men want something. Fuck off you attention seeking AH.

How do all these trans people remember being a toddler so clearly? I have like one or two vague memories from being a toddler and it was stuff like, wearing waterwings in a pool and being in the back of a truck. Also, how was she even able to play all those female characters if she was really a guy this whole time. And sorry El, but what music you listen to, how you drink and sit have nothing to do with being a boy.
