I completely understand that COVID is a form of the SARS virus, but even that small difference is enough to make it a new virus altogether. So I stand by what I said about the public being the lab rats. And yeah in clinical trials not everyone will have side effects, because everyone's makeup is different, they are exposed to different things, they eat differently and live in different environments, which is why they use such a large diverse group when doing clinical trials, they have to or the data becomes compromised. But there are also people out there who never questioned their gender. There are people who were four years old when they started saying "I'm not a boy, I'm a girl," and six years old when they started saying "I don't WANT this weiner, it makes me feel like a boy and I HATE feeling like a boy." People whose parents were not even supportive, let alone coercive, but who were so horrified by their bodies that they honestly didn't care about that.

Again, a child is not capable of making those choices. Kids don't understand gender, they may "feel" like the opposite sex because society has told them that boys do and like type A things and girls do and like type B things. When in fact that both boys and girls can do and like both type A & B things. Tom girls are a thing, so are effeminate boys. It doesn't necessarily mean they need to change their sex in a permanent matter. Society attempts to coerce people into things every day, whether that is through peer pressure or advertising. Hell even children's cartoons are now being scrutinized for doing it as well.

You really can't say that any child has the mental faculties to be able to make these types of decisions, because they don't. You don't find it the least bit odd, that this has only really been happening since they started putting LGBTQTIA++ in all the school curriculum recently? I do, because I am looking at the bigger picture. Kids emulate their environments, that is how they learn to grow as adults, that is a very human like thing to do, so in that regards, yes all kids are the same no matter their social, economic or racial backgrounds.

So if all children are the same in that regard, then common sense would dictate that the countries whose schools who have added this type of teachings to their curriculums are going to have an influx of kids who think they are non-binary or trans. Because they don't want to be left out. What kid do you know can honestly explain in their own words, what they think body dysphoria is. And I am not talking about them repeating what they hear, or what they have read, I mean in their own words. Because I have asked and talked to a lot of these kids and they always have the same exact answer. That tells me that they are just parroting what they have been told or what they have heard or seen others say. If kids are as different as you say they are, then shouldn't their stories be different and not identical?

I just find this all to convenient that pharmaceutical companies are now making a ton of money off these kids and their parents, because they are telling parents, "Hey if you don't want your kid to die they should take this drug." That drug was created as a form of chemical castration. It has irreversible side effects such as sterilization and causes endocrine issues in adults as they age. You can't just stop taking hormone blockers and expect to go back to being a boy or a girl, it doesn't work that way, and people who say it does are being dishonest.

Puberty blockers are not expected to treat gender dysphoria. They're used to delay puberty until a diagnosis of gender dysphoria can be confidently made.

Yet that is what they are using them for. You can be for using them all you want, but the fact of the matter is that they were designed to be used as a form of chemical castration and the "side effects" such as sterilization are permanent. You can't just decide you don't want to take them anymore because the damage from taking them has already been done.

You comparing other drugs and their side effects is pretty disingenuous of you, because unlike other drugs side effects this just doesn't give you headaches or shortness of breath, it can cause you to have life long problems and not be able to ever have kids, even when you stop taking them. Most medications that do have side effects, those will stop when you stop taking the medication, that isn't the case with hormone blockers, and they are given to kids as young as 8-9 years old. Sorry but a 10 year old child isn't capable of determining they are the wrong sex let alone understand the lifelong implementations of it. You clearly are not someone who can't be reasoned with in terms of seeing the bigger picture because you are still defending it despite the evidence you've been given to say otherwise.

I don't know if I would go quite that far. But parents should always strive to protect their kids, even if it means protecting them from themselves at times. They should strive for their kids to want to be better people, they should teach them how to have empathy towards others and to always be kind in the face of adversity, but also not letting others silence their voices. They should teach them to question everything and not assume they know everything, and to have an open mind that is willing to view something from all sides and angles. Kids are not mentally capable of making life altering choices, and given the lack of necessary medical and mental care needed to fully access if one is truly suffering from body dysmorphia or if it's something else altogether. One 30-45 minute session, or even a two hour long session can not determine this. It takes months sometimes years to see if someone is truly suffering from body dysmorphia.

Before that, you have to ask yourself if they are fast tracking all of these kids now. What's your data on fast tracking?

I'm not anti-vax, I believe that vaccinations, especially ones that have gone through thorough testing and trials are actually a good thing. What I don't think you and others like you realize is that this vaccine was released under emergency situations, meaning it wasn't properly tested or vetted in trials before being released to use on the general public.

That causes a lot of issues, especially when people are starting to show side effects of those vaccines. I don't think that is something any intelligent person should overlook. It wasn't ready to be released and now people are dealing with the side effects. The general population basically were the lab rats.

You need to get the diagnosis correct. The vast majority of cases this is done.

Except it isn't. According the PEW Research center about 8% of people who transition end up de-transitioning, and suffer with irreversible damage from just taking hormone blockers, let alone being allowed to have surgery. 18 NEEDS to be the minimum age in which someone should be able to make this choice.

That percentage is just the people brave enough to come out and speak up. Most of them are doxed and harassed by their prior community for speaking out against letting people under the age of 18 make these life altering choices. Every single one of them said they had no more than a 30 minute doctors appointment to gain access to these drugs. No further counseling was involved. 15 years ago a trans person would tell you it took them YEARS to have any kind of gender reaffirming care. You have to ask yourself why they are fast tracking all of these kids now. I will tell you why, it's because these drugs are now very expensive, and doctors who push them are getting huge pharmaceutical kick backs for doing so. Either you are being willfully naïve or you're a pharmaceutical plant pushing their money agenda.

Okay I do get what you're saying, but as long as we have things happening like 50 year old men being able to self identify as 13 year old girls and being allowed to shower and change with them, these laws need to be enacted.

I agree it's not going to be ideal for actual trans men and women who are just trying to go about their business and live their lives, but unfortunately that ship has sailed due to all the AGP's that have now hijacked that movement. The men who are walking around in dresses with beards and threatening women who try and tell them they can't be in the women's bathroom. Women and girls need to be protected from these men and unfortunately this is the only way to do it.

All you have to do is look at all the young people who are detransitioning and telling you the horror stories of how easy it was for them to get these procedures done. In some countries yes kids as young as 13 are getting their breasts removed. They are not careful with minors, and puberty blockers are not harmless or without permanent side effects. Look most teenagers don't feel comfortable in the body they are in, it's called puberty, we all went through it. I take it you don't live in an area where they are crossing your borders. I actually used to believe exactly what you did until my family moved to Texas. I have seen the damage they do coming over here illegally. It's not only hurting tax payers, but they are destroying farmers lands, causing them to lose live stock, destroying private tax paying citizens properties. Hell a few of them have broken into homes along the border area and stole from their houses. These people coming over here are not the backbone of society that you claim them to be.

The vast majority are not upstanding citizens either, or they would not be cutting fences, destroying private property and stealing. There is a right and wrong way to do things. Most of them are coming over here because they want to make more money, that is fine, but you have to do it legally. There are plenty of hard working Americans willing and able to do the jobs that undocumented laborers do, the problem is that the undocumented workers are driving DOWN the pay by agreeing to work for less. If the people hiring these undocumented laborers paid a living wage, most Americans would be willing to do that same work. Clearly anyone with a brain can see this is an issue.. that illegals are actually causing. They are not helping anything over here..
