I don't know if I would go quite that far. But parents should always strive to protect their kids, even if it means protecting them from themselves at times. They should strive for their kids to want to be better people, they should teach them how to have empathy towards others and to always be kind in the face of adversity, but also not letting others silence their voices. They should teach them to question everything and not assume they know everything, and to have an open mind that is willing to view something from all sides and angles. This is how I was raised but my parents were not conservatives, they were just people with common sense and good judgment.

https://www.loveandlogic.com/ Is what conservatives use. Schools don't teach it and yes it is common sense and empathy as well.

I understand your point that the principles of Love and Logic are rooted in common sense and empathy. However, I believe that schools do teach these principles, often through social-emotional learning programs and character education initiatives. Additionally, many parents and caregivers use Love and Logic at home to help their children develop healthy relationships and learn responsible behavior. While the specific Love and Logic program may not be explicitly taught in all schools, the underlying principles are certainly being addressed in many educational settings.

Not in the USA, they kicked out religion, and Love and Logic is seen as religious.

Not in the USA, they kicked out religion, and Love and Logic is seen as religious.

In the realm of education and child-rearing practices, the Love and Logic approach has gained significant recognition for its effectiveness in fostering positive behavior and fostering healthy relationships between parents and children. However, the assertion that it is perceived as religious and has been expelled from countries like the United States is both inaccurate and misleading. The Love and Logic philosophy is grounded in psychological principles and practical strategies that empower children to take responsibility for their actions, develop self-control, and cultivate problem-solving skills. These principles are universally applicable and do not inherently align with any particular religious or spiritual belief system. The notion that Love and Logic is religious stems from a fundamental misunderstanding of its core principles. The approach emphasizes the importance of unconditional love, respect, and empathy in parent-child relationships. However, these values are not exclusive to religion; they are fundamental human qualities that contribute to healthy and nurturing relationships. Moreover, the Love and Logic approach is not intended as a replacement for religious teachings or spiritual guidance. It is a practical parenting methodology that complements and supports the values and beliefs that families hold dear. By fostering positive communication, encouraging personal responsibility, and promoting self-discipline, Love and Logic helps children develop a strong moral compass and make wise choices in their lives. The claim that Love and Logic has been expelled from countries like the United States is simply unfounded. The approach is widely used in schools, homes, and communities across the United States and many other countries around the world. Its popularity stems from its proven effectiveness in improving child behavior, reducing conflict, and strengthening family bonds. The effectiveness of Love and Logic has been extensively documented through research and anecdotal evidence. Studies have shown that children who are raised using Love and Logic principles exhibit higher levels of self-esteem, self-control, and social competence compared to their peers. They are also less likely to engage in disruptive behaviors or experience emotional problems. Furthermore, Love and Logic has been embraced by educators, mental health professionals, and parenting experts worldwide. Its principles have been incorporated into school curricula, parenting workshops, and counseling programs, reaching countless families and making a positive impact on the lives of children and parents alike. In conclusion, the assertion that Love and Logic is perceived as religious and has been expelled from countries like the United States is both inaccurate and misleading. The approach is grounded in sound psychological principles, fosters universal human values, and has been proven effective in promoting positive child behavior and healthy family relationships. Its widespread use and recognition are a testament to its effectiveness and universal applicability.
