The core problem isnt Trump or any particular person for that matter but simply the notorious cowardice of conservative voters. Theyre easily intimidated and have no fight in them. By focussing their whole arsenal of lawfare at Trump the Democrats also completely sidelined Trumps competitors of which DeSantis obviously was the most dangerous one with his proven track record of successful leadership under massive presure.

Truth is, the super majority of sheep is the driving force behind things like censorship, not some cabale of rich and powerful people. The sheep want to be censored, they are begging for it. Sheep cant deal with diversity of opinion. It makes them feel uneasy, uncomfortable, fearful, unsafe. They never really grew up. Theyre like eternal children and as such they need somebody or some church to put all their trust and faith in. I find it very satisfying to watch. Mankind is cleansing itself. The stupid and arrogant managed to massively decimate their own ranks while leaving the smart and courageous relatively unscathed. Here in Germany it was a pretty close shave though, we almost got a general vaccine mandate. For months it seemed inevitable, only Putin's invasion of Ukraine saved us.
