If we're winning why are more and more schools, unis, institutions, and companies going woke?

This is our kind of fake news. "We're winning". No we're not. We're living through a pandemic of cowardice. Everybody feels he's got too much to lose to take any risk or inconvenience. Everybody thinks it's smart to make a deal with the devil. Everybody sells his future and his soul to the devil just to be left alone for the moment. The devil will reap a massive harvest among the cowards among us before things will finally start getting better again.
