And another guy who tunnel visions on the wolves while completely ignoring the sheep.

Truth is, the super majority of sheep is the driving force behind things like censorship, not some cabale of rich and powerful people. The sheep want to be censored, they are begging for it. Sheep cant deal with diversity of opinion. It makes them feel uneasy, uncomfortable, fearful, unsafe. They never really grew up. Theyre like eternal children and as such they need somebody or some church to put all their trust and faith in. This church used to be the media (which in turn replaced the christian churches), but then the internet and it's huge diversity of sources and voices completely threw the sheep off balance.

People like Zuckerberg only have recognized this popular (sheepular?) demand for censorship and adjust their supply accordingly.

That's victim blaming.

Nobody asked the Pentagon to spend billions and billions to manipulate and control them with the internet. Nowhere is being a "sheep" in the hierarchy of needs. People don't want to be hypnotized. They want decent lives. It's cheaper for the oligarchs to hypnotize them. Cheaper is always the route we get.

You still need two for a successful hypnosis. There is no innocent victim here. You have no clue how much the sheep hate people who dare thinking for themselves or "do their own research".

I dunno, look at the whole Reddit API fee protest. What the mods were upset about was the possibility of losing the tools they use to ban accounts, which is a form of censorship. I doubt it affected more than 1% of the user base. And many subs still have rules against "vaccine misinformation," and because of that, any discussion of Covid feels like you've gone back in time to 2020. I haven't been on recently but within the year I have still seen popular comments claiming the covid shot stops the spread.

Many people do want a boot on their neck to lick.
