France and French culture died in the 19th century. They've been getting their asses kicked by everyone from the Germans to the immigrants coming in on rubber rafts. Ironic that everything that made France great is now being subsumed by stupid, woke ideology that wouldn't even exist if it weren't for Western Civilization's Age of Enlightenment. Shit on white people all you want, but where would you all be without them?

    Buy a bottle of wine and have the clerk uncork it. Then go to a charcuterie (delicatessen) and get some things to go with your baguette. Go to a park, have a picnic and watch people. Or just go home and never travel again. Don't be an ugly American.

    Paris is a beautiful city full of a long history that most Americans aren't exactly prepared for. There are plenty of 500 year old buildings to visit. The walkways are wide and pleasant. There is so much food to choose from, it's overwhelming. If this person couldn't find good food outside of McDonalds, he was looking for McDonalds.

    The Parisians are not something most people are used to either. If you've been in NYC in the 90's or even Philly today, you'll know what to expect in Paris. They're curt, gruff, and you're in their way. Meet them half-way and they're wonderful to deal with.
