Lmao demisexuality. Demisexuality is just not being into one night stands. So hard, so opressed, so confused. Stunning and brave!

So she's a straight woman who only wants to have sex with people she has a connection to?

Look, lady, that's super fucking common. There are tons of straight women out there who do not like casual sex. You aren't special.

Noooo she's an ultra unique and delicate hothouse orchid who has the rarest intimate connections with other whole beings and fosters deep, transcendental thoughts! Everyone else is a rutting sex-crazed primitive beast.

I've said this many times, but in the conservative Christian environment I grew up in "asexuality" was encouraged and rewarded.

This is being caused by liberal parents harassing their kids because they aren't sexually maturing fast enough. They think something's wrong with their kid if they aren't having sex by Junior year. I do think there is an aspect of homophobia to that as well, if your child is 17 and not having sex they must be gay. So obviously push them into straight sex as hard as you can or force them to come out. Like Eddie Monsoon telling Saffy to come out as a lesbian "so I don't have to keep explaining you to my friends."

I think all of those stats about anxiety and "tension at home" are likely accurate. Asexuality is not an orientation though.

The point you’ve made about liberal parents pushing their children to have sex is spot on. Christian conservative parents want their kids to be virgins until marriage, which is oppressive, but at least it gives a gay teenager some breathing room until he’s old enough to move out and put some distance between himself and his parents until his parents learn to accept him. Meanwhile, society thinks that all liberals support gay rights, but that’s not entirely true, because some of them don’t. And if you are raised by parents who are sexually liberal but also homophobic, you can expect to have members of the opposite sex pushed onto you, whether it be blind dates, strippers or prostitutes.

Asexuality is not an orientation though.

I do know two women who've told me that they've never experienced sexual attraction. They're not TQ+ attention seeking weirdos, it's just how they're wired

[–]orangina5 12 insightful - 3 fun12 insightful - 2 fun13 insightful - 3 fun -  (23 children)

asexuality is not a biological thing though. not everything needs a biological thing. everyone is trying to shove their useless, made up garbage into the "born this way" essentialism that we legitimized. if you're an "asexual homosexual" or "asexual heterosexual" then thats not a sexual orientation since it just describes your sexual orientation. and the women you know are absolutely 100% lying to you. they have much infighting and many factions. that's why they call it a "spectrum". There isnt a single true "asexual". theyre "asexual" but have thought about men..that makes them straight. or gay. they then seperate into asexuals who infight and attack because they're nymphomaniacs and cant stop having sex but dont like romance or dating. then there are the ones who have no sexual attraction but love dating and romance and it divides into 900 other categories.

again, we simply dont care. they have nothing to do with us and theyre not a sexual orientation. it's like calling "off" a television channel or bald a type of hairstyle. it's not biological and good for them. there are maybe 90000 different types of descriptors of sexuality similar to asexuality. "demi sexuality" or "sapio sexual" is closer to them than having that precious, precious, precious, precious, precious access to the label "sexual orientation". That category is worth more than gold to them hence why they get so psychotic and homophobic when they end up crashing into a wall of logic that wont let them pass.

[–]Shales123 18 insightful - 1 fun18 insightful - 0 fun19 insightful - 1 fun -  (6 children)

Lmao, stop making assumptions. I know both of these women really well, one of them is my sister, neither of them are homophobic or believe in queer theory, in fact I vent to them often about the TQ+ and they're fully supportive. Theyre just women who don't experience sexual attraction, and I don't agree that they deserve to be lumped in with queer weirdos

[–]lovelyspearmintLesbeing a lesbian 19 insightful - 1 fun19 insightful - 0 fun20 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

Don't listen to him. He's a complete moron. Asexuality is a biological thing but it's not an orientation, it's a lack of sexuality. It can be caused by biological factors, and a majority of these (at least these days) can be caused by medication that lowers libido, such as antidepressants and antianxiety medication.

[–]orangina5 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

Thats why every single gay and lesbian i know used to identify as asexual before moving on to bi and then finally gay. HMMM, almost like that mental trauma of internalized homophobia plays a large role in our damage and it's not pills. By the way you're being "ace-a-phobic" by saying it's some sort of damage. And her "pure" sister notices the sweat dripping from a man's abs. How very "asexual" of her.

[–]lovelyspearmintLesbeing a lesbian 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

You were the one who mentioned any damage. I just said that those specific medications, which are used by everyone, not just LGB, can cause a loss of libido, ergo people thinking they're asexual. They're not damaged in any way.

[–]wafflegaffWoman. SuperBi. 7 insightful - 2 fun7 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Anything (including diet) that bumps up your serotonin enough (btw, don't play chemistry set with your serotonin; see serotonin syndrome) can tank your libido. I've experienced this and never liked it. Fortunately diet is easy to modify. But yeah, at those times, I would have absolutely no interest whatsoever. So I feel for people who take SSRIs, etc. I see what they mean and it blows. Or...not....

[–]orangina5 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

little kids, teenagers identify as asexual. and to them, it's seen as a biological identity (which it isnt). they see themselves just like us. they see themselves as a sexual orientation so the people you're throwing yourself to in defence of their "identity" would be greatly offended that drugs can cause asexuality. it would be like saying homosexuality could be "caused" by drugs and we're all tired of having to deal with people like you who pretend you were born yesterday and dont understand the deep inferences you've made through your comments. "you were the one who mentioned damage"...no, you did, through inference. i mentioned their infighting. whatever happened to that "pyramid of debate"? At least i dragged it down to insult. It seems you just dragged it down with your...limitations.

[–]orangina5 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

i see you havent met the "asexual" community. First thing they do when you tell them it's not a sexual orientation is go on a homophobic rampage. How did you misinterpret what i said to mean that asexuality itself is inherently homophobic rather than the overwhelming majority of their community? They do experience attraction and yes, theyre lying. What exactly do you think the "spectrum" means? It means there are multiple ways there are attracted to people but have hang ups about it. These people have so many factions and so much infighting over who's "legitimate" and "valid" and "gatekeeping". There are nymphomaniac women calling other "asexuals" bitches because theyre not "validating" her asexuality since she sleeps with men but has no romantic attraction to them. Your sister checks out men. Asexuality is not a thing. Your sister sees the sweat drip from someone's abs. Asexuality is not a thing and never has been. But i do see serious, massive trauma with lesbians and gays where their internalized homophobia is so strong that they initially identify as asexuals....like me. and then come out as bi and then finally gay. That's our community's understanding of asexuality.

[–]INeedSomeTimeAsexual Ally 12 insightful - 1 fun12 insightful - 0 fun13 insightful - 1 fun -  (13 children)

I think you're talking about these asexuals who insist that they still experience so called romantic attraction to the others. But I am considered to be that aromantic asexual in their language. I never think about men or women at all. I'm strongly indifferent to them in a sexual/romantic way. But of course, when I see reactions such as "asexuality doesn't exist and isn't biological" then my mind goes like "Is my indifference then a weird form of bisexuality? But I'm not really that interested in women and men though." and I don't deal with medical issues and I take no meds. I also don't have any trauma.

No idea what I should do about it then. Lie I am a weird bisexual who doesn't wanna bang and date?

[–]orangina5 2 insightful - 3 fun2 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 3 fun -  (12 children)

no one admits to or is aware of trauma but you're still either heterosexual, bisexual or homosexual. the asexuality just seems like an intensity lever. it doesnt go beside them as an orientation.

[–]INeedSomeTimeAsexual Ally 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

Legit I haven't gone through any trauma and I consider myself lucky because of it. So if I say I am bisexual just because I just find men and women good-looking at most but I can't imagine sleeping with them nor kissing then I guess you will be fine with it?

[–]orangina5 3 insightful - 3 fun3 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 3 fun -  (2 children)

im not sure what you think trauma is. it's not torture and it's never obvious. and it isnt always seen as negative.

[–]INeedSomeTimeAsexual Ally 5 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

I think there is no point in talking to you really.

[–]orangina5 3 insightful - 3 fun3 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

you're just as valid as the asexual girls who have sex with 10 guys a month and still consider themselves asexual because of whatever trauma they feel for having no sexual attraction or emotional bonds. maybe it's trauma or maybe it's psychological immaturity. Or the asexual women who have no sex but enjoy romance. It's just a lever and intensity level and not a sexual orientation. You're most likely a gay man who's been broken in half psychologically when you were a child. Fine. Good for you but it doesnt need an identity. The overwhelming majority of your community is narcissistic, horny straight girls bullying, harassing and invalidating what you think are the "true" asexuals which are people like you. go on twitter and see how they incessantly bully anyone who doesnt represent them or put them first in any "asexual" representation.

Asexuality was almost exclusively for gay men. And you all show signs of "gayness mixed with internalized homophobia". Meek, kind, intelligent, compassionate, insightful, shy, almost apologetic for your existence and borderline pitiful. That's a very stereotypical broken gay person. Where are the dumbass asexuals? Where are the obnoxious, disgusting, repulsive, annoying asexual men? Where are the asexual bullies that are males? The dominant ones who can crush your face in the palm of their skull. The ones who dont read books. Where are the asexual men driving big dirty trucks saying "TRUMP 2020!". Funny how every single personality trait you have mirrors typical homosexual males but i guess we'll all ignore that.

The only obnoxious dominant asexuals i see are the narcissistic straight girls who've flooded your "identity" and bullied your "community".

[–]usehername 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (6 children)

I know you're not talking to me, but homosexuality was a crime in much of Europe when he was alive, so he could have been gay.

[–]lovelyspearmintLesbeing a lesbian 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

Maybe, but the way that man described his thought processes and his hyperfocus on his work seems to point towards disinterest rather than homosexuality.

Edit: Sorry, he was very open about his celibacy because apparently celibacy helped him focus on his work, from what I can tell?

[–]INeedSomeTimeAsexual Ally 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Yeah some of the historical "asexuals" were usually celibate or hiding that they were gay really.

[–]orangina5 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

lol nichola tesla was gay as were most asexual men and women back then. as were most "bachelors". as were most "roommates". Or are you going by the "well, those two women together who spent 60 years together must have been such amazing roommates that no husband would be worth leaving your best buddy for".

"incel" was a word invented by a lesbian to help teach gays and lesbians to be content living perfectly alone, forever. the overwhelming majority of gays and lesbians were "incels". we were "involountarily celibate" and were taught to learn to be content with living a life of academic pursuit or some life meant for the greater good. and our culture is filled with lies and phantom identities for everything to satisfy the incredibly dangerous and violent curiosity of the heterosexuals. What were we supposed to say in those days? "yes, i am forever alone because im not sexually attracted to women because im _______ <--something i dont even have the word for but it's an attraction to the same sex?" That's quite a very cheap analysis, dont you think? And if public knowledge would have gotten out that he had a sexual attraction to men, he would have been the laughing stock of the world.

All our lives we were taught to worship chopin as some incredible, great composer. He was basically the face of polish genius and culture. Chopin was stupid enough to have sent messages back and forth revealing he was having affairs with men but he was always presented as "asexual" or sexless. Polish historians openly admitted that for the good of the nation and heterosexual supremacy, they hid this fact. Most geniuses that are held up as beacons of hope, genius and creativity of their entire nations and people tend to be gay but made so sexless and so covered up, that theyre presented as "asexuals".

There are countless examples of this in multiple countries. Armenia, one of the most violently psychotic and homophobic countries on the planet who desperately wants to show its enemies its superiority and their barbarism, their culture vs their degeneracy.... defined itself by the symbol of a poet and put him on their money. Now guess what this asexual turned out to be but it was hidden for "the good of the nation".

Why do i have to teach you these things? You're supposed to be a lesbian. So why do i know more about lesbians and their psychology than you? Perhaps you focus too much on their "im a woman" and less about the psychology of homosexuals. Being a sexual being in homophobic countries is rare. And the psychological damage done to these homosexuals in homophobic environments made them disgusted with themselves to the point where they were couldn't even get aroused as homosexuals.

You speak with such a paucity of knowledge on gays and lesbians. You're very welcome for having these conversations with me by the way. It helps elevate you from the incredibly superficial understanding you have of the world, especially of gays and lesbians. and in case you run away crying about the big bad meanie, notice how every single reply you got corrected your ignorance since i know in your head you like to think this is some 50/50 argument between you and me? do better.

[–]usehername 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

everyone is trying to shove their useless, made up garbage into the "born this way" essentialism that we legitimized.

Does this mean you don't believe LGB people are born that way, or just that everyone's hopping on the bandwagon, or both? Genuinely curious.

[–]orangina5 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

i think we're "born this way" but there's a massive surge in "validity" if you turn something into some essentialist, biological reality. Gay males literally have brains physically different from that of heterosexual males. I dont think they chose that. But you never see a stable asexual community. They just want to use our infrastructure and community and "stabilize" themselves at our expense. Sexual orientation is a very serious category that determines a lot about you politically, socially, where you fit in with your culture, your circumstances. And yeah, you're "born that way" but if you allow asexuality in there, then you allow the "demisexual", "sapiosexual" and the 600 other narcissistic labels in there as well. Theyre not trying to be your friends. Theyre going to turn everything into a shit show to indulge their narcissism. They just dont want eyerolls when you say, "i cant help it. im just attracted to smarter men. im "born that way".

“I knew that if I was walking into an LGBT+ support space, I could easily say that I was gay, maybe a bit more worried to say that I was transgender – but any time I’d have mentioned I was asexual, that would just lead to a lot of questions,” Ramses said.

What a delusional human being. I would say she’s troubled but it honestly sounds like she’s not and is filling some sort of personality, hobby, and/or attention void by making up problems.

Let’s be clear what these labels mean. This is a heterosexual woman in her mid-20s who experiences sexual attraction to men only (so gay) and experiences sexual attraction and arousal, but doesn’t like random sex and has to feel an emotionally connection before desiring sex with a man (how queer).

She doesn’t identify with stereotypes of femininity/women but the way her sexuality works is a female stereotype (though not one that applies to me personally).

And I swear to god Pink News wants to make us all look mentally ill by forced association with these delusional narcissists while also pretending that these fixations on flimsy identities is not a manifestation of mental illness.

[–]motss-pb 13 insightful - 1 fun13 insightful - 0 fun14 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Pink News doesn't have a moral compass. They are a business and will pander to whichever demographic brings in web traffic and generates ad revenue for them. If that means playing into the delusions of narcissistic straight people, then so be it. Pride Inc has finally realized there is a whole untapped demographic of angsty straight people that they can sell rainbow-colored merch to by simply giving them a made-up label. They'll spin it as motivated by inclusivity, but really it's a capitalistic move to increase the consumer base.

This is just propaganda and i've been keeping up with it. I've been on their sites, their "rallying cries" and their fake persecution bubbles. "asexuals" aren't even a stable community and they can easily be dismantled and they'll do it themselves. If there's truly something wrong with them, theyre "asexuals", but then it gets to asexuals who masturbate, asexuals who like romance/dating, asexuals who have anonymous sex, nymphomaniac asexuals. It's almost like the label isnt real. And when theyre not busy going after their number one enemies to hijack their institutions and resources (us), and slandering us by pretending we're nazis for not letting them hijack our civil rights movement, the hyper sexual, nymphomaniac narcissistic "asexuals" are busy harassing, attacking and demonizing "the true asexuals" because apparently, these people need "representation" as well.

oh and by the way, when i clicked on that site there was another article i read about 2 "trans" women who went to egypt, a 3rd world country which imprisons gay people. This is all just a game to them. It's as pathetic and disgusting as jews going to visit nazi germany and thinking the antisemitism wouldnt affect them. So egypt, which locks its own citizens up for being gay...is not going to have a problem with a bunch of straight women who think theyre gay men trapped inside a woman's body?
