"seeing other people's good lives makes me want to rip my skin off"

This. It fits perfectly with the great number of comments from TIMs over the years about wanting to hurt or kill women they find attractive because it's "so easy" for women to look like... women.

At least this TIF is doing the girly thing by turning physical aggression inward instead of fantasizing about killing people who manage their lives better.

GC: Is attraction to "trans men", "trans women", etc separate from sexualities? Or is it not separate? Since queer theory is self-contradictory and ever changing, there are no answers to any of the questions, just torturous strings of cutesy labels to squabble about. For bio-realists, the answer is chasers are into kink but may like it as a side dish for their hetero or homo main meal relationship and so what?

Examples from life:

A TiM joined a women's political activism group I belong to and eight days later put himself up for the top leadership position and instructed us all repeatedly at length that anyone not voting for him was the worst kind of bigot and would be outed accordingly.

A coworker came out as TiM and two months later was found to have taken a hidden body cam into the gym locker room to record our changing and showering; he faced no repercussions because he said he did it to learn how to fit in better and was deeply stressed by bigotry and hatred at every turn. The following year, he was caught doing it again and this time it led to a criminal investigation that found hundreds of vids and stills taken in that locker room, another gym's locker room, restrooms, and store changing rooms. He was sent for eight weeks of counseling and is seeking to have the case sealed because it was transphobic persecution of a brave and stunning artist collecting reference photographs.

[–]Tarlatan 44 insightful - 2 fun44 insightful - 1 fun45 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

It's still about domination. Vampire like, the men want to consume what's within the woman. They are, after all, entitled to it.

One goal is to be validated as a woman themselves. If a woman who wants only women wants them, then they are women. That's why they make the most noise about "gold star" lesbians, women who have never had sex with any man.

GC: Why can't names, clothes, etc be considered female or male, feminine/for women, or masculine/for men? And what are the issues with the definitions of man/male and woman/female that are based on behavior, clothes, names, and gender dysphoria/gender identity? by [deleted] in GenderCriticalGuys

[–]Tarlatan 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Biological sex is baked in from the moment of conception. Gender is a cultural concept that changes across geography and time. Who wears what is a cultural concept and Anthony Bourdain did not become a girl no matter how many ladytools he touched in the kitchen.

I mean, right now, we get told that (1) there have been trans kids throughout history and (2) babies reach for a pink blankie or a blue blankie because they know their true gender before they can understand language.

Yet until World War I, Europeans and Americans viewed pink as the color most suitable for boy babies because it was a diminutive form of the male power color: red.

It was only after that not-so-great Great War that marketers began teaching consumers that blue was for boys and pink was for girls.

So what happened to the trans kids of the late 1920s and 1930s? There was some magical day when male infants stopped reaching for pink and started reaching for blue because... the brains they were born with... changed in the womb... due to Reasons?????
