If you asked me this a few years ago, I’d say nothing will happen. These things flare up from time to time and then they’re other distractions that get dangled in front of the masses.

Now? I feel like we are in uncharted territory. Not in terms of overall history, but history in this country. More people are starting to notice the influence that a tiny powerful minority is wielding, and that they are wielding it in a manner that has been subversive to our society.

It’s hard to not notice that our politicians, who are probably being bribed or blackmailed, are quicker to loudly declare undying support for Israel than they do for their own nation.

People are also noticing that there’s been a shift in the projection of Jewish power. It’s becoming less of a velvet glove and more of an iron fist. Mask is slipping and the increasing demands for anti semitism laws.

It leads the thinking person to wonder: if you want to ban people from having honest discussions about a group, then the group must, by default, be shitty or up to no good.

So this either ends with even more restrictions on speech and less overall freedom, or it goes hard the other way and I’m not going to spell that out.

Actually, anyone with half a brain understands precisely what he meant by “brainwashed communist teenager”.

That’s the whole joke. The people who most openly identify as “communist” are usually the types who would be put against the wall within a week of a communist society coming into existence. The types who can barely scrape together a functional existence, yet think they will be the ones in charge if they get their way. The fact that they don’t actually understand their own ideology is already implied.

These people clearly have some kind of humiliation fetish.

My son used that word once, and I sat him down and had a heart to heart talk. I explained to him that it was wrong to use it. That he was raised better. That he was taught WAY better and more colorful ways to insult black people, and that in this family, we don’t allow laziness into our casual racism.

And then everyone clapped.

They think life is an Avengers movie where the good guy always wins the fight. People who probably struggle to lift their carry on luggage over their head to get it into the bin are gonna pick up and put someone in a dumpster, AFTER expending energy kicking their ass in le epic fight.

People who have never been in an actual fight are usually the loudest voices in the room to tell you how they are gonna kick the imaginary assailant’s ass.

SO many things can go wrong in these situations. Someone may just be trying to provoke you because they are looking for a fight. They could be trained. They could be armed. They could just be fucking crazy. A shoving match can end up with someone smacking their head on the pavement and getting a serious head injury or even dying.

You’re gonna go all Walking Tall on some motherfucker? And is he just not gonna fight back? How’s your cardio? If it sucks you better hope you “win” quickly, or hope the other guy isn’t in better shape. Otherwise you’ll be gassed in about 15 - 20 seconds and you’ll be praying for someone to step in and stop it.

Yeah, it’s hard to let an insult to one’s honor go, but sometimes it’s better to simmer for a few hours than end up in a situation that gets out of control with life altering (or life ending) consequences.
