I mean in this case if a parent hits their 7 year old kid for saying nigger one time I'd assume the parent is an idiot. The same sort of idiot that gets their panties in a bunch over someone signing to rap lyrics or has a meltdown over any use of the word nigger regardless of context.

It's a teaching moment, to tell your kid that word is very rude and you shouldn't use it. But hitting the kid upside the head for saying it when they don't know any better? Meh.

I guess you could argue that some dumbass kid mouthing off to actual niggers is dangerous like playing tag on the freeway and is worthy of an asswhooping but if it's some 7 year old saying they were playing with their nigger friend it's obvious from context that they don't know what the word means since they are paring it with the word friend.

These people clearly have some kind of humiliation fetish.

My son used that word once, and I sat him down and had a heart to heart talk. I explained to him that it was wrong to use it. That he was raised better. That he was taught WAY better and more colorful ways to insult black people, and that in this family, we don’t allow laziness into our casual racism.

And then everyone clapped.
