Correct me if I'm wrong here, but wasn't one of the big arguments in favor of OF becoming a massive hub for porn that the creators would be able to avoid that exact sort of shady business that's so prevalent in the mainstream, professional porn industry? There absolutely are people who would do this to their child for the lulz. However, none of those people are actually in a position where they would ever be able to successfully reproduce and bring about the requisite child.

Of they course they value obedience. If you pay attention, you'll see that the left is startlingly authoritarian in its various mandates and ideologies. It's not the control that they have issues with, but more that the control doesn't rest entirely and exclusively (and in perpetuity) with them.

The same people who screamed themselves mute over the "fascists" who vote Republican not only eagerly obeyed every single Covid command the government issued, without question or hesitation, but moved to bully anyone who wouldn't obey.

It's not the anime that's the problem (or, at least, not entirely so) but more the Tumblr-grade no-lifers who fixate on it. And you'll find people like that in anything that has a fandom, not just anime.
