Depends on if they capitalise on it.

Like the people who predicted the 2008 crash, some people built careers on their precedence and some just threw the towel in and retired.

Most victims in conflicts don't get to be restored once they are victorious. I doubt very much the companies and groups that went mad with social nonsense will be posting long confessions and asking for forgiveness and restoring the jobs and reputations of the people they harmed. Besides the legal ramifications of admitting fault, there's the hit they would take for doing that... It's easier for them to just pretend it never happened and moved on, and I suspect most sane people who are miserably shaking their head at all this rubbish will just be happy that normality and rationality have been restored and not be too interested in restricting the dead.

Nope. They have to become unhinged activists and fight their oppressors. It's the circle of dumb.

Usually not. Best case is that someone with a deep pocket slandered the person so badly that the victim gets a payday.

Remember, woke types aren’t woke because they believe in truth above all else. They are woke because they see it as a way to gain power, status etc.

They don’t punish their victims because they think they are “wrong”. They punish them because they believe they were being disobedient by challenging the prevailing wisdom.

So... these people DO value obedience?

I thought woke was about radical moral autonomy. No obedience to parents, superiors or God. Absolutely none to common decency or anything except your base sexual desires.

Of they course they value obedience. If you pay attention, you'll see that the left is startlingly authoritarian in its various mandates and ideologies. It's not the control that they have issues with, but more that the control doesn't rest entirely and exclusively (and in perpetuity) with them.

The same people who screamed themselves mute over the "fascists" who vote Republican not only eagerly obeyed every single Covid command the government issued, without question or hesitation, but moved to bully anyone who wouldn't obey.

it's the "nonconformist paradox": a girl with a nose ring and green hair will absolutely have bog-standard, completely predictable views; nor is it limited to any one subculture, the Free Individualist Voluntary Meeting will be excommunicating itself over an argument about pp. 3,350-58 of The Authorized Collection of the Shopping Lists of Ayn Rand, Vol. VI (1958-62)

Muggeridge quoted Chesterton as saying "When men choose not to believe in God, they do not thereafter believe in nothing, they then become capable of believing in anything," but it's materially tied to the massive shift in culture that happened in Victorian Britain, when all the villages emptied out to the smoking chimneys of London and North Britian

so the foaming r/atheist who'll rant at how "da Pope would have you executed for learning to read to cover up that they caused the Black Death in 1200 and they destroyed all evidence MAN!" the dotty fundie who thinks America has to burn to Jordan can conquer the Middle East so Jesus can come back in 1981, and their teenager pursuing "magick" from a book written in 1949 to rebel against them are all part of the same historical process
