Spiteful humor can be funny but it takes a really careful approach. I agree though that often then falls into the problem of laughing at people rather than laughing at the joke though.

General problem in comedy these days I think is there's too many stupid people who don't get the jokes. Then it's just a crapshoot if they are a humorless cunt that doesn't get that it's a joke takes it seriously and goes on a moral tirade against you, or if they are an idiot that doesn't realize it's satire and think this is an actual documentary of sports in the 21st century.

Regardless I think the concept is probably doable for a b plot or an extended skit. But a full movie? Nah gonna get run into the ground. Ill watch the best of reals for the good jokes but won't watch the whole thing.

High quality makeup and YouTube are far more accessible now. My wife is big into fashion and can 100% look like a celeb when she wants to. She learned it all from watching videos of pros like Scott Barns. (A makeup artist for celebs like Jennifer Lopez) At 42 she routinely gets ID at liquor stores and even in Vegas.

Also, youth is a big factor with attractiveness for females. If you are 25 and under and have a reasonable weight most men will find a girl like that physically attritive. Over 25 -30 things can tank pretty quick. I've met 3 "hotties" from my old high school throughout the years and man, it's pretty sad...time has not been kind.

The opposite goes for men. When I was in my late teens I was awkward and scrawny but the older I get the better I look. I've put on much more muscle and have some gray going which I'm told makes me look very distinguished and mature. Both things women find very attractive. Also I'm pretty fit which is a huge factor for men especially as we age. Even just maintaining a healthy weight is big with women as most men are now overweight. (Double so for men over 30. The beer gut is not a good look.)

Overall I think men have it better then women. Women have a timer. The older they get the harder it gets. There are attractive women over 25 but there prospects shrink every year as more and more men are taken and all that's left are the rejects. Men are the opposite. We are worthless when we are young and get better as we age. There is always a new generation of women coming up for older men to court. Also young women tend to be naïve and fall for older males and their bullshit, thinking they are going to find someone to care for them when in fact all these guys want is a good lay and then move onto the next younger thing. Think Leonardo Dicaprio, once you're 30 dump'em and move on down the line.

Thanks for your thoughtful reply and it brings up a fun memory = I was sentenced to 2 fives back to back meaning I had to do the whole 1st 5 before any good time applied to the 2nd 5. During my first few years since I was attending U of W Seattle on an Engineering degree when arrested I applied for their satellite classes they offered at Monroe. Also during that time I was asked by quite a few who got to know me "would you teach me how to read and write and be able to do some math" and within months I had a regular classroom set up with those who really did want something besides their senior year of 3rd grade. Some of them pretty scary but they could not read or write or do simple math just fractions and how to change a dollar. I gained my BEng in 1982 and all this noted by Parole Board. The kicked me out to a prison camp of fighting fire and planting trees where I did another year then kicked out to Parole House where I was stuck for about 6 months then out for good. Here's the funny part = at each location I was locked up I told a few about my plans on kickout and was admonished "o no you'll be right back here" as that is the law of recidivism. The original quote was at that time of my life "time on the outs is just waiting till I go back in" and no sir. I told all "actually no you won't see me again" and upon full parole I skipped the state and went down to San Diego where I was accepted into UCSD to get my masters and with that then I was sponsored by a world major to go to England and trade 4 years of my life and they would pay in full for my PH.d that I was awarded in 1988. Then I spent the next decades now in the insane world of high rise glass tower construction and that life coming to a retirement with my turning 62 a few months ago and I've never sat in a jail cell anywhere on the planet since. I'm easy to find = just Google up the words "Thomas the glass expert" and there I am at very top of the first page. So can a con go straight = yes. Prison did not motivate me to do that becoming a responsible good citizen and father to 4 did. Prison only teaches punishment exactly where an awful lot of people belong.

Some turn it around. I had another child who was an absolute nightmare for every teacher but me. They seemed to like me so behaved well whenever I was around (they were never in my actual class).

I find out that the very first week at secondary school they get caught with a knife, expelled and sent to a PRU - essentially a school for the pupils with behaviour problems that normal schools can’t deal with. They spent a year in the PRU before being back in a normal school - graduated with qualifications and by all accounts is now making a good life for themselves whilst looking after their younger siblings. The PRU did the job the child’s parents couldn’t and turned a child’s life completely around and I’m confident that without it they would either be in prison or dead right now.

Nor did they consider how their insistence on respecting Ukrainian "agency" by backing Kyiv's maximalist war aims clashed with the "agency" of the people Kyiv wanted to reconquer, many of whom opposed such a thing or favoured a quicker end to the war.
