Confused people, sure. These hordes travel for weeks to get to the US and suddenly they’re “confused” victims.

Texas cannot handle all of the invaders. They have to go somewhere. Why not Chicongo were they adore these aliens.

Texas would rather send them back. But of course, the Xiden administration is suing Texas to block that new Texas law.

Chicago is a sanctuary city what is the big deal. Second this is perfectly legal because they volunteered

Illegal immigrants arriving without warning you say!? Why, that's unprecedented! Surely Mayor Brandon Johnson will now encourage a strong, America First stance on border protection and call for a reduction on immigration while his city attempts to resolve how these people could have possibly arrived without notice into his state, right? He'll certainly sympathize with other states where this situation might also be happening, right? This whole matter should be resolved by the end of the week, right?

The Tweets are just stating facts: Abbott is putting confused people who don't speak English on buses and planes and dropping them off, you know, wherever.

It's not something a good person would do, but Abbott isn't pretending to be a good person.

His tone is obviously displeased.

Texas just flipped from majority white to majority Hispanic. I don't even hear English anymore when going to the grocery store. States farther away have the luxury of not dealing with this issue, and they freak out when just a few hundred immigrants get dropped off! We have millions.

Texas just flipped from majority white to majority Hispanic.

No... no, it didn't. Texas is about 39.3% Hispanic. It just flipped over from being majority-white-non-Hispanic to being majority-minority-white-non-Hispanic.

States farther away have the luxury of not dealing with this issue, and they freak out when just a few hundred immigrants get dropped off! We have millions.

I'm from Nevada, where there are hundreds of thousands of Hispanic people, and you know what I think of them? I think my drummer's a kick-ass drummer and my girlfriend's a pretty kick-ass girlfriend.

Regardless, I'm not the kind of asshole who would put confused people on planes and say "Hey, you're now a political prop, good luck figuring out what the fuck to do, lol you can't understand me."

I tell no lies.

I have nothing against Hispanics, my niece is half Hispanic. But I don't want to live in Mexico. They're going to just end up recreating the same bullshit they fled.

[–]Hematomato 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (10 children)

I am skeptical that the Hispanic population of Texas has reached 40.02%, but whether or not it has, 40.02% is not a majority. The word "majority" means "more than 50%."

I have nothing against Hispanics, my niece is half Hispanic. But I don't want to live in Mexico. They're going to just end up recreating the same bullshit they fled.

Mexico's main problem is that its cartels have more money than its government. This is not a failure of culture or government; it's just economic laws in action.

Based on Mexico's population pyramid, it is well-poised to become a major world superpower by about 2050. The U.S. and China both have population pyramids that are irredeemably upside-down, and economies cannot flourish in those circumstances. Mexico has one of the healthiest in the world.

[–]Musky[S] 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (7 children)

Majority doesn't just mean more than 50%

Mexico's main problem is that its cartels have more money than its government. This is not a failure of culture or government; it's just economic laws in action.

It absolutely is a failure of the culture to acquiesce to crime and corruption as they have.

Based on Mexico's population pyramid, is well-poised to become a major world superpower by about 2050.

Hahaha, are you drunk? I think this is the first point you've made I've ever seen that I just found silly. That's not how superpowers work. India isn't a superpower just because they have an ungodly amount of people. They still poop on the streets.

Mexico has one of the healthiest in the world.

Okay, I'm definitely going to chalk this up to the booze. Why aren't the illegals aren't staying in Mexico for their great economy?

[–]Hematomato 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (6 children)

Majority doesn't just mean more than 50%

Mathematically, the word "majority" means "more than 50%." Dictionaries describe language, so they describe the sloppy ways people write when they don't know the word "plurality."

It absolutely is a failure of the culture to acquiesce to crime and corruption as they have.

It is not. In groups, people follow the rules of economics as surely as molecules follow the laws of physics. One person may resist economic pressure and act to their own economic detriment for moral reasons; a population will never do so.

Hahaha, are you drunk?

Of course. It's NYE.

I think this is the first point you've made I've ever seen that I just found silly. That's not how superpowers work. India isn't a superpower just because they have an ungodly amount of people. They still poop on the streets.

A population pyramid doesn't describe the number of people a country has. It describes the ages of the people. India has an ungodly number of dependent children. Mexico has a huge number of teenagers who are just on the cusp of hitting working age, with comparatively few children and retirees to support.

Countries with a population pyramid like that tend to become superpowers. Mexico's looks a lot like the United States's did in 1960.

Okay, I'm definitely going to chalk this up to the booze. Why aren't the illegals aren't staying in Mexico for their great economy?

You may not have been paying attention, but illegal immigration from Mexico has plummetted. Fifteen years ago, most of our illegal immigrants were coming from Mexico. Today, they're coming through Mexico, from Central America. In twenty years, it's likely they'll want to stay in Mexico.

Not if our government is giving them welfare to live off those of us who are working for a living. The federal government and sanctuary cities are to blame for this, not Texas or their Governor.

Every credible study has found that undocumented immigrants contribute far more to the economy in underpaid labor than they drain from it in entitlements.

One of the meanings of the word "plurality" according to Oxford Languages (which is the world’s leading dictionary publisher, with over 150 years of experience creating and delivering authoritative dictionaries globally in more than 50 languages):

the number of votes cast for a candidate who receives more than any other but does not receive an absolute majority.

As such when there is no election of relevance, this meaning does not apply. Please try again, but this time with sources.

[–]Hematomato 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Here you go: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Majority

The word "majority" means "more than half the total." The word "plurality" means "the largest of the groups."

Pretty simple stuff that you really should have learned in high school.

[–]binaryblob 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I already had read that before I had written my response.

Your meaning of plurality only has that meaning in set theory, not in casual conversation, like this. So, I am sorry, but I don't agree. I would be in favor of updating the dictionary, however.

Also, since English isn't my first language, I should not have learned that in high school. I did learn plurality in university during a course on logic.

[–]Canbot 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Illegal immigration is a crime. We don't care what you think of your drummer. It's irrelevant. And if you are housing illegal immigrants, you too are a criminal.

[–]Hematomato 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (6 children)

Don't pretend you haven't committed dozens, even hundreds, of crimes. You've committed crimes you don't even know about. There are hundreds of thousands of laws, and you don't know them very well, and ignorance of the law is no excuse.

For example, you used the word "and" in that sentence. That word is part of the DeCSS code. It's a felony, under the 1999 DMCA, to disseminate any part of the DeCSS code. Congratulations: you're a felon.

[–]Questionable 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (5 children)

Don't pretend you haven't committed dozens, even hundreds, of crimes.

I haven't. And those 'crimes' I have accidentally committed, under your moronic assertions, don't involve invading a sovereign nation.

It's a felony, under the 1999 DMCA, to disseminate any part of the DeCSS code. Congratulations: you're a felon.

It doesn't matter how smart that you think you are. You're fucking retarded. I have become stupider, having read your nonsense.

[–]Hematomato 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

I haven't.

Of course you have. Every American is a felon, and if you think otherwise, it's because you don't understand the law.

And those 'crimes' I have accidentally committed, under your moronic assertions, don't involve invading a sovereign nation.

What the fuck does that matter? You're a felon, and you're eligible for a lifetime in prison.

[–]Questionable 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

[–]Hematomato 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

That's a bad analogy. Fundamentalists make stuff up off the top of their heads. The hundreds of thousands of laws cover nearly every imaginable action - legal scholars estimate that the average "law-abiding" American commits about eight felonies every single day. And that's simply a fact.

[–]Questionable 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

That's even worse than the eight spiders experts claim we eat in our sleep. As It's a worse lie.

to being majority-minority-white-non-Hispanic.

WTF is this retarded mental gymnastics shit?!! Is this the best you shills could come up with?

[–]Hematomato 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

I agree. It's retarded shit. But I'm not inventing it - I'm just pointing it out.

"Hispanic" is a word that simply means "having roots in a country where Spanish is spoken." It's not a "race." There are white Hispanics, black Hispanics, Asian Hispanics, Native American Hispanics.

But for whatever reason, our demographers want to treat it as though it were a "race." So they have this tortured system where the groups they create are:

  1. Pretty much exclusively of European descent but not from a Spanish-speaking country;
  2. Of a significant amount of African descent but not from a Spanish-speaking country;
  3. Of a significant amount of Asian descent but not from a Spanish-speaking country;
  4. Has recent ancestry from a Spanish-speaking country;
  5. Other.

Which is a really retarded system, but it's what we use.

Anyway, Musky is pointing out that #4 now outnumbers #1, and... it's hard to see why anyone should give a shit about that, but okay.

[–]Canbot 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

You agree that what you said is retarded? Or do you think saying "I agree" is a clevar mind trick? Because all you are really doing is exposing yourself as a propagandist more interested in games than in the truth.

Race matters because genetics plays a huge part in behaviour and intelligence. The effects of demographic change are muted until a tipping point, then the changes are drastic. A change from one race being dominant to another is definitely the starting point for huge changes. Most likely going from a safe, prosperous european like city to a mexico like city.

This can be seen by comparing any two areas with different demographics.

This country is being intentionally flooded with migrants for a reason and that wouldn't be the case if people were all the same.

[–]Hematomato 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

You agree that what you said is retarded? Or do you think saying "I agree" is a clevar mind trick?

I agree that it's retarded that we categorize people such that "majority-minority-white-non-Hispanic" is a thing. We do, but it is indeed retarded.

Race matters because genetics plays a huge part in behaviour and intelligence.

It's deeply debatable whether genes for behavior and various mental skills are significantly different between any one non-existent "race" and any other. But that doesn't really matter here, because "Hispanic" is not a race. Central and South America were colonized by Europeans just like North America was, and the two regions are quite genetically similar.

This country is being intentionally flooded with migrants for a reason

The country is receiving an influx of migrants because it has a lot of capital and a labor shortage. Simple economics.

[–]Canbot 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

We do, but it is indeed retarded.

You do. We don't.

It is a minority white area.

It's deeply debatable whether genes for behavior

It is not. It can be seen by comparing different groups across varied environments. Only liars deny it.

any one non-existent "race"

It is a very stupid lie to claim a category does not exist when anyone can categorize others into these groups with 99% accuracy.

Hispanic" is not a race

What is a race then? How does everyone magically poses the ability to categorize others by something that does not exist?

lot of capital and a labor shortage

First the country does not have a labor shortage, immigration has zero correlation to unemployment, and if that were true we would be giving out work visas not having open borders.

Second, that the US has wealth is a direct result of the US being white. By importing non whites you ensure that the country will become more empoverished. And it absolutely does not explain why the people who rigged the election would support open borders. It is does not serve their interest to simply give mexicans better living conditions then they can have living amung other mexicans.

It does serve their interest to import an underclass of people who are easily manipulated by identity politics and easily corrupted to rig elections.

[–]Hematomato 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

It is not. It can be seen by comparing different groups across varied environments.

It is very difficult, if not impossible, to separate the effects of genetics from the effects of environment. There's no ethical way to do a double-blind study.

Also, the idea that you can quantify "intelligence" as a single statistic is outdated. No serious scientist has believed that since the 1950s. It's much more accurate to say that we have multiple intelligences and tend to specialize in some at the expense of others.

It is a very stupid lie to claim a category does not exist when anyone can categorize others into these groups with 99% accuracy.

No. They cannot. For example, in a Brazilian study, people were asked what race someone was, while that person was asked what race they were. The study yielded a kappa value of 0.75, suggesting that they only agreed perhaps 80% of the time.

https://bmcpublichealth.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/1471-2458-2-1

Of course, there's no objective answer as to who was right or wrong, since race does not objectively exist.

First the country does not have a labor shortage

It absolutely does. The latest statistics show that we currently have 9.5 million unfilled jobs, and only about 6.5 million unemployed workers.

We rely almost entirely on immigrant labor to eat, because we haven't been able to find enough citizens to staff our agricultural labor needs since the World War era.

And it absolutely does not explain why the people who rigged the election would support open borders.

When it comes to the American political parties, their rhetoric on immigration varies greatly but their actual policies barely vary at all. Every single Administration in our lifetimes has had similar policies, favoring rich immigrants and turning away more then 90% of poor ones.

Fortunately, some of them ignore the laws and sneak into the country; otherwise, we simply wouldn't have enough food and our construction sector wouldn't remotely be able to keep up with demand.

[–]Questionable 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

It's a sanctuary city. If Chicago doesn't like this, they should repeal their status. Allowing your city to be a 'sanctuary city' is treason, and not something a good person would allow. But that's who Brandon Johnson is. And he needs to be impeached, and removed from office for this. Possibly, criminally charged as well.

[–]Hematomato 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Allowing your city to be a 'sanctuary city' is treason

This is a stupid thing to say. You should consider looking up the definition of the word "treason."

[–]Questionable 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

Welcoming invaders is treason. This is not difficult to understand. Giving them our money is Treason. They are not Americans, or legal immigrants. They all need to go.

[–]Hematomato 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

This is not difficult to understand.

No, but it's something you randomly pulled out of your ass.

[–]iamonlyoneman 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (10 children)

So you're saying it's bad for them to be dropped off wherever in Chicago, which is a city that claims to provide sanctuary with open arms, but good to drop them off wherever on the edge of a desert in Texas. Got it. Good logic comrade, way to go!

[–]Hematomato 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (9 children)

If someone were to trick you into getting on a plane with no money or ID, it hardly matters where the plane is going to land; that is already obviously a bad person.

[–]iamonlyoneman 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (8 children)

They are not being tricked, comrade. They are being told the truth, that instead of going to a place which is actively unwelcoming, they have the chance to go to a place where the government WANTS to help.

[–]Hematomato 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (7 children)

Of course they're being tricked. If Abbott wanted to collaborate with Brandon Johnson to help these people, that would be one thing. But he's got no interest in doing that. He's just flying them out without any information about what's going on or a single heads-up to the Chicago or Illinois governments and then giggling like a trollish teenager: lolol you weren't ready for them and now they have nothing to eat and nowhere to sleep and it's your problem.

Super fucked up. He's a real piece of shit.

[–]Hematomato 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

Coyotes notoriously have a terrible track record when it comes to exploiting desperate people. They've robbed people of everything they own; they've left people in the wilderness to die. It's pretty fucked up.

Of course, the coyotes do it because they themselves tend to be poor and desperate. Abbott only does it because he's a born asshole.

These aren't well-educated tourists. These are people who grew up in abject poverty, to the point where they felt it necessary to flee their home and their family and their culture just for a chance at survival.

They rarely have more than an elementary-school education; they rarely speak any English; and it's super easy to give them a ticket and imply that a job is waiting for them.

Which is exactly what Abbott is doing. Exploiting people who have no idea what's going on, as some kind of sick political prank. And when they get there, only to find that absolutely nothing is waiting for them, they have no resources and no Earthly idea what the fuck to do.
