I was always lowkey hoping Trump will lose (plus I had some wild fantasies that he won't leave the White House so we'd witness some epic spectacle). Some people STILL sadly shill for orange doofus and think he was fighting deep state or some other bullshit.

He also had no personal interest in anything other than his own bank accounts and watching Fox News lick his balls on TV. Anyone wondering what he had to say about Afghanistan overlooks what his handlers in Russia, Israel, and the GOP wanted. Russia and China will benefit from this withdrawal. The US military industrial complex will continue to profit from proxy wars in the destabilized region. It's a win-win for the wealthy. The humanitarian crisis in the region will of course continue.

      Calling the MSM 'pro-Trump' is one of the most delusional things that I've heard all year. For five years there was nothing short of a full blown assault on this man coming from those who think like you, who indeed think that there's 'nothing redeemable about Trump'.       Welcome to Saidit. If you wish to discuss anything with me, read first Saidit's guidelines. Much - if not all - of this is just whining and insults. It seems that you agree with all of the disinformation Fox News and others have tried to get you to believe. Nothing here addresses potential solutions of the past, present or future, which is part of what the right-wing disinformation has achieved. All you want to do here is virtually yell at a stranger.       It's to prevent the rise of nationalist anti immigration parties like AFD again, they have been paying for migrants to stay in Greece, 10s of thousands of dollars for each one that stays there, all in an attempt to stay in power. They know that the demographics of Germany are changing in the long run and all they have to do is boil the frog slowly like in the US and every other western European country.

      Edit: Originally I suggested accelerationism but in the end, that strategy has too many uncertainties. This will definitely work, though.

      Attack the public perception of the immigrants:

      Expose their crimes in a visual format, focus on creating an image that the immigrants are targeting germans as a race, so that this strengthens german identity.

      The exposure must be relentless, too. Make the average German associate refugees to the crimes they commit.

      Patriotic Alternative in the UK has done this very well. They work on shifting public perception via a two pronged approach:

      The first is positive. They reinforce the English, Welsh, Scots as a tribe by conducting communal and traditional events, reversing decades of attack on the tribal identity of the British people.

      The second is negative, in the sense that they create an image that the British are targeted as a tribe. They hold memorials for anti white hate, unapologetically talk about ethnic demographics, and reveal anti white hate crimes.

      It should be added that a lot of nationalist groups just need more funding.

      European nationalists should understand that it’s not always beneficial to go public about your nationalism and spend your time participating in nationalist groups directly.

      Honestly, a lot of these groups just need money. If you’re a young, intelligent type, you should ask whether you’d be more useful to your people by pursuing a well paying intellectual career and helping nationalism from the sidelines.

      I have now come to the belief that Merkel and Hollande were pressured into accepting the mass of 'refugees' by the Americans. They perceived that Germany and France were gradually moving out of the U.S. orbit. In order to keep them chained to the U.S., they were flooded with refugees who could be used to stir up massive civil unrest in either Germany and France if they tried to assert their independence. I think the Nordstream pipeline (which ties Europe closer to Russia) was part of the reason behind the American fears.

      Indeed. I honestly didn't even pay attention to his campaign. Firstly, I'm not American and dislike the way that whatever goes on in America is effectively 'world news' due to America's persisting albeit declining hegemony; secondly, I avoid the MSM as much as possible because of their sheer bias that seems insufferably bad since 2016 when these people were radicalized by Trump's 'impossible' and 'rigged' victory. What's more, the anti-Trump nonsense was just a microcosm of their wider anti-White hatred rather than legitimate criticism. They obviously wouldn't have said a tenth of what they had if Trump was, say, a black woman.

      He obviously deserves legitimate criticism, but that doesn't come from the MSM who have no nuance whatsoever. These people are upset when he shakes someone's hand, they're upset when he doesn't. They were 'anti-vax' in 2020 whinging about how Trump was rushing the vaccine in time for the election and that 'Trump's vaccine' can't be trusted, and they're ardently 'pro-vax' (and the same damn vaccines!) in 2021. They were 'pro-lockdown' when it came down to non-Leftist protests and 'anti-lockdown' when it came to BLM.

      Regardless, I very much doubt I would have voted for him in 2020. Normally I'd be A3P or one of the groups rightward of the Republicans, who are far too liberal for my tastes. The Republican mainstream are only very mildly less insufferable than the Democrats, but the sheer amount of nonsense coming from their ranks is similarly half-witted.       You are living in a dreamworld if you think that Trump was supported by the MSM.

      Imo, a large part of Trumps appeal and strong supporter retention was created by the left. You could almost characterize that as "support" if results are the criteria.

      In a world where Trump wasn't being demonized by the enemy, fewer would have flipped into auto-defense mode, and the subsequent unbiased look at Trump would have repelled most. People may have still held their nose and voted, because imagine voting for hillary, but the left literally 'made' Trump into president.

      While the street leftists and low levels probably had no clue, I believe they were instructed to deliberately demonize Trump to enable him to 'pied piper' the conservative right into self-destruction.
