"One of the kindest people I've ever known"

"Began yelling at delivery driver for calling him 'sir' and chased down his car"

It has never occurred to me to pick a fight with a man who called me 'sir' (and I've been mistaken for a man quite frequently), because I'm actually a woman and I know that wouldn't go well for me.

I mean US gun culture is nuts, driver should have just driven off and refused service to this tranny, but let's not pretend this Troon wasn't psycho.

Covert narcissists can appear very soft, harmless and nice 99% of the time but they are still dangerous.

The Uriah Heep personality type.

A lot of child abuse victims watch out for this type instinctively.

Think about it. No one is 100% nice and harmless so if that's how they appear then they are putting on a facade. Then you have to ask "why?"

Probably the only person on Earth who came even close in recent years was Fred Rogers. Over 20 years since he died, and there still hasn't been (AFAIK) even a whiff of anything dirty about him.

I often find people who tend to be the nicest and friendliest people are usually ones with a checkered past.

Edit: keep in mind I’m referring to people who have made an effort to change for the better.

I'm thinking of most of the old school transsexuals I encountered who were/are outwardly demure and passive. They're engaging in their 'submissive woman' act in those moments, with people who are actively enabling their charade. Someone like this delivery driver comes along and bursts that fantasy bubble (even unintentionally) and his true male self comes out.

Well, that also plays a role, since the people like the murderer in this case are the "we don't owe you being demure and passive, accept us as an incredible POS as well!" types.

Yeah, but people are crazy, people are high on dope. You can't really count on someone to act rationally if they're already being batshit crazy. Thus the classic line "I feared for my life, and then shot them.." because if you count on crazy people to stop being crazy, you end up stabbed or shot yourself.

That's just the state mandated descriptive phrase for any trans people. Can you imagine if he said "she was a cunt and nobody liked her"? Of course, nobody should have been shot over this nonsense, but trans people need to lighten up about "misgendering." No one owes you anything, least of all pronouns. And for your own safety, don't just start screaming at people in the street for not kowtowing to your bullshit.

The male-pattern aggression is usually a hint.

Not that this person deserved to be shot by any means, but the thread I found this in is predictably full of people saying this should be considered a "hate crime". This will undoubtedly go down as evidence that "trans people are being murdered at far greater numbers than other people". But in this case, it sounds like the tranny was murdered because he was being a confrontational asshole. It was a parking lot argument that, like far too many, turned tragic. But I bet that's not how the narrative will be spun.

All the trannies deserves to be killed, they're freaks and rapists, don't feel sorry for this crossdressing pervert.

[–]SMCAB 3 insightful - 4 fun3 insightful - 3 fun4 insightful - 4 fun -  (0 children)

This was a hate crime. The tranny hates themselves so much they joined a make believe culture where you can call yourself a table leg to feel better. This entire thing started with self hate.

[–]Conqueeftador 8 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 0 fun9 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

A severely mentally ill man chased down a delivery driver looking for a fight, the driver tried to leave but the crazy man prevented his egress by persisting with escalating aggression, so the driver defended himself with deadly force. Seems like a simple case of FAFO to me, but I'm not surprised at all to see this presented as a calculated hate crime against a beloved pillar of the community. This will go the pile of sob stories about poor innocent trans people brutally murdered by hateful cishets for no reason at all.

I don't know how the neighbors saw teenagers going in and out of that dude's apartment and not called the cops.

Ooof. Troon should have just taken his food and went and ate. But he just couldn’t let it go. Driver should have just kept driving, but he couldn’t let it go.

Lesson: you can act like a psycho to try to impose your will on people, but that only works until you run into an even bigger psycho.

No charges in this case, though nobody died. I guess shooting a straight, white Youtube prankster isn't a hate crime.

[–]cephyrious 4 insightful - 3 fun4 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

It isn't, because we all hate youtube pranksters.

[–]ClassroomPast6178 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

No charges? He was charged and tried for the shooting. Found guilty of a firearms discharge offence and has spent months in prison. He was found to have acted in self-defence. The jury verdict was contradictory though, having been found not guilty of the main charge he should have been found not guilty of the other charges but it looks like a classic case of the jury disagreeing and bargaining on the charges to achieve a unanimous verdict.

The video of the incident is fairly clear that he was afraid for his life and had attempted to make an escape. The prankster is lucky he didn’t die.

Couldn't access that link outside the US, but this one shows the brave and stunning victim. Quite a different tone in the article too. Instead of "man shot woman with semi-automatic weapon" it is "suspect had a valid wear and carry permit".

I'm reading this story, and I'm just wondering if there's some detail that's either missing or not known yet. Because the driver was leaving, he was on his way out of this nothing-burger argument. But he stopped, got out, and reengaged? Why?

[–]AriShekelsteinDDS 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

That made me scratch my head, too. A person pursuing on foot is not much of a threat to someone in a vehicle, assuming the vehicle has an open avenue of escape. Maybe the deceased was trying to stand in front of his car or something.

Or maybe the driver is an aggressive person himself and decided that if the troon was still looking for a fight, he was going to get one. Which makes it a classic case of a paper tiger asshole finally crossing paths with an even bigger asshole who actually came to play.

If that’s the case, don’t see how the driver can argue any kind of self defense.

Cities are terrible because people weren’t meant to live in big clusters like this; it makes people insane (why Dems get to run cities and Biden gets votes, cause they get turned into human rats).

Lolololol

Good, someone give a medal to this delivery guy.🫡

Interesting that a murder suspect would be "released on recognizance", which I believe means zero bail. I wonder if there's more to this story.

[–]divingrightintowork 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I suspect they're presenting the aggressor much more charityably than he deserves.

[–]TiredTrenders 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Only downside to this is how they'll use it as further justification that they're actually being "actively genocided". Nevermind the fact he'd have lived if he hadn't instigated the delivery guy, into using lethal force in order to defend himself.
