I'm reading this story, and I'm just wondering if there's some detail that's either missing or not known yet. Because the driver was leaving, he was on his way out of this nothing-burger argument. But he stopped, got out, and reengaged? Why?

That made me scratch my head, too. A person pursuing on foot is not much of a threat to someone in a vehicle, assuming the vehicle has an open avenue of escape. Maybe the deceased was trying to stand in front of his car or something.

Or maybe the driver is an aggressive person himself and decided that if the troon was still looking for a fight, he was going to get one. Which makes it a classic case of a paper tiger asshole finally crossing paths with an even bigger asshole who actually came to play.

If that’s the case, don’t see how the driver can argue any kind of self defense.

Yeah that struck me as well.
