Yeah, I think we can safely assume that whoever created this ridiculous chart ISN'T Polynesian, and in fact doesn't actually know (or care) anything about them. Cause they're "indigenous" people, which OF COURSE automatically means on-board with any & all woke foolishness! (A "rule" which, I'm sure, would come as a great surprise to most Polynesians.)

The "sex" in "sexual orientation" refers to the biological sex of the other person, not how much you want to fuck them.

These ✨progressive✨ definitions makes it seem like calling yourself homosexual would be lewd and kinky or something.

You'd be surprised how many people don't realize that the "sex" in "sexual orientation" refers to biological sex and not sexual intercourse - for example, all of the people who think "asexual" is a sexual orientation because it has to do with how much sex you want to have.

Too be honest, I think if "homogenderal" & "romantic orientation" ever became mainstream it might just help acceptance of the LGB community.

I strongly suspect a huge part of mainstream acceptance of this "transgender" identity thing, even going so far as calling their kids trans, is because the self-ID movement changed the name from transSEXUAL to transGENDER. As a result parents would prefer to think of their kids as trans than gay (despite almost all early-onset dysphorics & kids with a cross-sex identification desisting & being gay), bc 'gay' has a sexual connotation in many people's minds, due to terms like homoSEXUALITY & sexual orientation.

Heck, it might even hinder the "trans kids" narrative, if an LGB possibility became more palatable to parents.

but it's inaccurate. it's claiming people are attracted to what kind of haircut you have not which body, and yes people like trans to avoid thinking of their kids as having sex, but that isn't making the whole thing healthy, it's making gay kids hide in a trans closet that is more dangerous than the old fashioned version bc now you are getting meds and surgeries not just being quiet... I don't see the benefit

That's only if you allow the self-ID cult to co-opt 'gender'. Gender is an identity formed like any other: nature & nurture. If self-ID isn't concordant with nature & nurture, like in the case of a cross-sex self-identification, then it's role-play, not an identity.

sorry, i'm just not following.. if gender is just a role play, it isn't really relevant to who you're attracted to, at least not consistently, & it's only really for bisexuals anyway in which case "you just haven't found the right girl" can be true: just find a more boyish girl or a more girlish boy, and you won't be gay anymore. (Or what is it you're getting at, bc I admit I'm finding this confusing)

Gender is a nature vs. nurture debate, some parts of gender identity are biologically determined, others socially determined. That's how identity is formed.

Self-IDing as the opposite sex is following an entirely different view, one that rejects the scientifically sanctioned nature vs. nurture debate, in favour of "individual freedom of choice". It's the idea that you can independently determine your own identity. This is the self-ID cult's view of gender, which is actually perfectly concordant with libertarianism.

Sex & the resulting socialisation into the gender norms associated with it form identity, which is why a 'cross-sex identity" cannot exist. It's just role-play

    I am pretty sure it will not help much. It will grant acceptance to WRONG people and will leave "free to harass LGB" card for others. Like it happened within trans community.

    Transgender changed from transsexual - and acceptance and laws all became about transgender people, ones who do not even have gender identity disorder, ones who are not even planning to do surgeries, take hormones or pass at all. While ones who were called before transsexuals - are still lacking everything.

    Same would happen with homogenderal. There would appear heterosexual couples, who would say "I am a man, but I like pink color, so we are in homogenderual relationships". And such couple already made into news recently, they said they are part of LGBT Pride as "queer couple" and harassed real lesbians. In that couple husband was washing dishes and helding house, while wife was working in tech field and wearing pants. So they became "homosexual queer couple", even LGBTQ+ organisations named them as such.

    So it will be really harmful for real homosexual people. And, well, sexuality is about sexual attraction and sex. Just hanging around is called friendship.

    theyre trying to erase it. Some people dont know that sexual orientation is about the sex you're attracted to. The biggest problem they have is that we're homo-SEXUAL. How can a man in a wig call a lesbian a bigot if she's a homo-sexual. Because no matter what he does, he'll always be a male who identifies as the feminine gender. When they say "trans women are women!", they know very well theyre males and lesbians are attracted to females. And they cant identify as lesbians because a lesbian is a homosexual female.

    They've been desperate to remove homosexual and female because the definitions are so clinical but accurate. "gay" can mean anything, but it used to mean homosexual male. Lesbian can mean anything because it's a societal label. Female has a technical, biological definition. So does homosexual. So we laughed and said theyre desperate to make homosexual into "homo genderal"...and theyre crazy enough to do it now.
