Not exactly. It's important for a greenhouse that it's made of glass or something that is transparent to visible light, so that the energy from the sun mostly enters. If you had an opaque white greenhouse, it wouldn't be warmer.

No clouds really fits the description. Clouds are semi transparent to visible light, and even more reflective of infrared light.

Infact, clouds are their own source of infrared emission which emits down to the surface, and retains much more heat on ground, and the atmosphere by extension.

The similar claim for "greenhouse" gases is completely bullshit. It emits what it absorbs and only in 2 very narrow and discreet bands of the IR spectrum. It's bullshit.

Fewer and fewer people are fooled by this foolish fake-science nonsense.

The scamdemic hoax broke the brainwashing spell, and people are seeing that they've been lied to their entire lives.

I'm guessing that every single one of those who have the most influence over this are counting the days they need to keep bullshitting until they can get their golden retirement, paid for by Pfizer & co for services rendered.

Those who don't have enough influence to cover their asses will end up as the scapegoats whenever corporate media is told to blame them for everything.

And the TV watchers will think that justice will have been served, while paying to get their neural-chipping appointment.

Much like they'll be happy to forget all about Ukraine once Nazilensky is declared the official scapegoat for the whole thing.

Much like they'll be (even more) happy with the Palestinian genocide, that will still be going on, once Naziyahoo is declared the official scapegoat for that whole thing.

Clouds behave like a greenhouse.

Not exactly. It's important for a greenhouse that it's made of glass or something that is transparent to visible light, so that the energy from the sun mostly enters. If you had an opaque white greenhouse, it wouldn't be warmer.

During the day clouds have a cooling effect, because a lot of the sun's energy reflects off them and doesn't make it to the surface. During the night they keep it warmer by reflecting the earth's energy back to the earth.

The total effect of clouds is a cooler surface than if we had no clouds. But the effect of a particular cloud depends on its height, its color and the time of day. High clouds warm, overall, low clouds cool, overall. Night clouds warm. Day clouds cool. Dark clouds are less reflective than light ones.

Like the blanket analogy you used.

I notice the blanket only weighs about 0.04% of your house, but you don't argue that "therefore it can't warm, because it's trivial beyond accounting."

CO2 doesn't behave like this. It's transparent for the majority of the spectrum.

FFS. The majority of the spectrum doesn't matter does it, because the earth emits as a body at 20°C: Most energy between about 300 and 1300 waves per centimeter. And peaking at about 600 waves per centimeter. So the CO2 abosrbance band from about 600 to 750 waves per centimeter is massively significant, as the graph of the emission of a black body at 20°C, and the earth's emissios measured at the top of the atmosphere that I link to above clearly shows.

Are we pretending that as part of not understanding the greenhouse effect, we don't understand black-body radiation?

The earth emits energy at greatest energy spectral density right where one of the the CO₂ absorption bands is

It's more or less legit for clouds, but it's a false lable that's applied for political reasons to CO2.

Other way around, mate:

Clouds are complicated, but overall they cool.

CO₂ warms, causing about 3°C warming per doubling at equilibrium.

And that is denied for economic reasons. The fossil fuel industry is the most lucrative on the planet.

Here's that NASA link about clouds for kids, at a level that's in keeping with us pretending we don't understand the greenhouse effect.

Privacy campaigners have also criticised the proposals warning of "catastrophic" consequences if data from age checks is leaked.

If people think it would be catastrophic for their pornography viewing habits to be made public, then the most obvious solution is: stop viewing it. Then they would have a clean conscience and enjoy more peace. The big tech companies already know what you are looking at. And if they don't, God does. However, God does not condemn people for their lust, but offers a way out of that bondage. Those that want to be free should turn to Jesus and pray to him for help to get out before they suffer "catastrophic consequences".

Some will say they need to leave, some will say they need to work, and some will say they need free government benefits and other rights. Once they are here, they have to live some how, and many of those that do not get what they need (or want) will take it by force. It is a time of chaos coming and now here. Fighting physically about this will help no one. It is a spiritual battle which is won through faith in God, who loves all mankind. As the man Jesus, he died so they all can be saved. But our enemy wants us to fight. Divide and conquer, they say.

It sounds similar to well-known Jared Diamond's pop-sci book:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guns,_Germs,_and_Steel

As early Western Asian civilizations developed trading relationships, they found additional useful animals in adjacent territories, such as horses and donkeys for use in transport. Diamond identifies 13 species of large animals over 100 pounds (45 kg) domesticated in Eurasia, compared with just one in South America (counting the llama and alpaca as breeds within the same species) and none at all in the rest of the world. Australia and North America suffered from a lack of useful animals due to extinction, probably by human hunting, shortly after the end of the Pleistocene, and the only domesticated animals in New Guinea came from the East Asian mainland during the Austronesian settlement around 4,000–5,000 years ago. Biological relatives of the horse, including zebras and onagers, proved untameable; and although African elephants can be tamed, it is very difficult to breed them in captivity. Diamond describes the small number of domesticated species (14 out of 148 "candidates") as an instance of the Anna Karenina principle: many promising species have just one of several significant difficulties that prevent domestication. He argues that all large mammals that could be domesticated, have been.

I find it harder and harder to disagree with those who say that zionism isn't just a genocidal ideology but also a straight up mental illness.

Granted it's an illness that is forced onto people through conditioning, but adults are responsible for their behavior and its consequences, no matter if it originates from conditioning or not.

And we thought the C19 cultists were bad...

That this is how WW3 is going to start. It will be a Religious War. Maybe not with this one event but a similar event of some 1st world country. An evil strikes and the local men and maybe a few women will revolt against their government that has brought in and welcomed the evil. Somewhat ironic there is NO muzzy evil anywhere near me in north Idaho the nearest satanic mosque is clear down to Boise so we have no muzzy up here. But I do believe "kill all muzzy" is coming and government will react but their forces of both police and military must agree to attack and kill their own citizens and will they? Some will and a great many will not.

Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy said Wednesday he will resign from Congress at the end of the year. McCarthy, the California Republican who was ousted as speaker by a faction of his own party two months earlier, said he is leaving “to serve America in new ways.” by neolib in USPolitics

[–]neolib[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

California’s 20th Congressional District is solidly Republican, so McCarthy’s departure is not likely to result in a Democrat being elected to fill the seat.

But his absence will leave the House GOP down a member for at least a few months, further narrowing its already-slim majority and exacerbating its legislative efforts.

Newsom is required under state law to call a special election within two weeks of McCarthy’s seat becoming vacant. That special election must take place between 126 and 140 days later, though it may be able to coincide with California’s congressional primaries on March 5.

When former Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Calif., resigned in January of 2020, Newsom left the seat open for the next 10 months.

I have done the same for a long time. I didn't wake up early enough to make breakfast. Stuff to buy is usually very unhealthy. And when I was going in to an office, I didn't want stuff in my teeth first thing or mess with taking a toothbrush. Given the nature of things in the US, I could easily believe a conspiracy theory that the whole "early breakfast" BS was promoted to push a bunch of largely low-grade junk food that served agribusiness.
