So here we have "Lindsay" Hecox, young man with a paraphilia (textbook case of autogynephilia) and lead complainant in the ACLU lawsuit that has just taken down Idaho's Fairness in Women's Sports Act (hopefully only temporarily). Idaho's HB500 rightly focuses on the fair sports competition issue; the ACLU / Hecox challenge to HB500 provides an opportunity to widen the discussion (among the general public if not in the courtroom) to consider the threat to women's comfort and safety posed by giving AGPs like Hecox access to women's safe spaces. Are there any organisations/media in Idaho giving platform and support to female students (and/or their parents in the case of minors) concerned not only with fairness in sport but also with protection of girls' and women's right to same-sex spaces? Great idea! Just a caveat about "google-findable." A recent post on GC (before banning) pointed out that the Google search algorithm seemed to have been adjusted recently to foreground TRA content on "gender critical." Whereas in the past the gender critical subreddit had been the first or second item listed on page one of results, driving traffic to the sub, suddenly google searches for the term "gender critical" rendered up pages of TRA propaganda maligning and misrepresenting gender critical feminism before listing any actual gender critical resources (the gender critical subreddit itself was suddenly buried on page 3). The banning of the reddit GC sub seems to have brought mentions back up to page one however these are mainly through the distorted TRA lens (e.g. pink news "Reddit just banned its viciously transphobic 'gender critical' page). So it will be important to put energy (and resources) into an effective strategy for ensuring visibility of the new wiki.

As a community we need to develop a clear set of strategies for collective action when cases like this come to our attention, e.g. circulate a report along with contacts of the employer and encourage GC members to send messages denouncing the firing; make reports to media (cultivate media contacts); encourage consumer boycotts of the companies involved (whilst encouraging consumer support for the work of the writer herself); crowdfund to assist the woman whose livelihood TRAs have attacked
