The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is an abomination

I hate to sound like a reactoid bugman, but I'm a big Tolkien fan, so this shit is fucking personal to me. From the moment the show was announced I knew it was going to suck, but I didn't think it would be THIS atrocious. After cringeworthy monstrosities like Star Wars: The Last Jedi we still haven't reached rock bottom as far as contemporary entertainment goes. This is without a doubt the biggest bastardization of a beloved franchise in history. Nigger Elves, Dwarves, and Hobbits are bad enough, but at least the writing or acting could have been decent. That's not the case here. The writing and acting are both awful. Excruciatingly bad even. So much worse than I expected. They even added completely made-up -- and mediocre -- main characters that aren't even in any of the books. The Elves don't even look like Elves anymore. It doesn't make any sense. Seriously, the only good things about this sacrilegious dumpster fire are the visuals and the score. You can clearly see that this production was outrageously expensive, so hats off to the CGI team. Bear McCreary deserves praise as well, but that's about it. Everything else is long and boring. This garbage makes The Hobbit trilogy -- which I hate -- look like a masterpiece in comparison.

Sorry for the rant, but I just needed to vent.

I personally crusaded against the whole thing in my circles, but i may have a different angle. I take for a fact that any americand production will need to have forced niggers and faggots because America have niggers and somehow faggots managed to hijack themselves into the slavery-master narrative. I mean, it is what it is.

But LOTR is not just a random fantasy you can butcher and call it a day. It's not like the wheel of times - good books, but anyway just the product of an american mormon that really liked strong gender roles and polygamy. LOTR is a european and catholic mythology explicitly crafted in order to be that. Changing elements is changing the symbolic value, and thus the religious values. It's straight up blasphemous. Expecially when it comes to the Simarillion, which is the most theological and metaphysical book.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi

I stopped watching Soy Wars after watching The Force Awakens. I wasn't even politically aware at the time, but the movie was just like pure propaganda lol, I was big fan of it beforehand. Similar to Rangz of Power and The Hobbit, the Soy Wars sequels make Soy Wars prequels like a masterpiece.

Didn't The Hobbit do that as well? Tauriel, the elf chick who falls in love with Kili. And that love story was very much shoehorned. But yeah, I agree, The Hobbit looks like masterpiece compared to this. I only watched some excerpts, but it could only be appealing to gigabugmen from what I've seen.

I think it's perfectly fine to be upset about the wokeness in media. media is obviously a very powerful tool and in a healthy society can be used to moralize a people. It becomes exponentially outrageous when it's actually subverting a European man's life work.

The early seasons were actually pretty good. It was just before the diversity agenda had to be injected into every fantasy film and tv show.

The diversity agenda had been going on for a long time, decades really. I've been watching old movies because all new ones suck and with my new perspective, I can see what they were doing back then too. The propaganda is even worse back then lol, but it is just not as blatant because now it is racemixing, gays, porn scenes, etc. while back then the degeneracy had to be limited a bit and it was a progression, back then the PoCs were the irish, jews, blacks and italians etc.
They used other means for the same end, but they just hadn't normalized as much as they have today.

Right; though as they have significant African ties, I haven't seen them name any fictional figures as significantly European and rather up to anyone's interpretation like mermaids and elves.
