Wikipedia is trying to portray Ukraine as a gay friendly country. I don't see how it's any more gay friendly than Poland or Hungary. At least Hungary has civil partnerships.

Sure, Ukraine might legalise civil unions. Might. But most Ukrainians believe that homosexuality is immoral. In fact, western efforts to make Ukraine more gay friendly are counterproductive, because it seems like the West are using the war as an excuse to force Ukrainians to change their culture.

Impossible to tell really. I think a lot of this is people that were annoyed or disallusioned with shit doing stuff purposely to make things harder for people. Like there was a recent Stanford style guide or something that said "Trigger Warning" is problematic because it might remind people of gun violence and I'm sitting there thinking, you know if if had to participate in this bullshit and pretend to engage in good faith with it, I'd probably be making suggestions like that just to fuck with everyone anyway.

Well organisations representing the "intersex" people, actually people with disorders of sexual development, have repeatedly stated they do not want it and find it offensive. As people with dsds are still male or female and not some sort of in between sex, that justifies the idea of being trans. However that stupid yellow triangle with a circle is still on the newer versions of the flag.

I just wish I'd invested in flag production five years ago. It must be a goldmine right now with people needing new flags every year.

This flag is gay. And not gay as in happy, nor gay as in homies fucking each other. This flag is gay as in retarded.

I hate that I'm supposed to share my spaces with people just because they're weird or disabled. As a gay man I have nothing in common with intersex people. And intersex people are still either male or female.

Yes, gay and bi men are disproportionately affected by HIV. There are still heterosexual people with the disease, so I don't appreciate gay people being forced to share our spaces with HIV people. Sex workers are even worse - they're prostitutes or strippers. Most of them are heterosexual - well, a lot of male strippers are probably bisexual, but there are still heterosexual men who are strippers. Also, gay and bisexual non-whites have always been gay or bi - they don't need special attention. So dumb.

The disability thing hits home for me because I am disabled. But homophobia has not made my disability worse. People never call me F-slurs because I have dancing eyes. Not that I get called F-slurs.

And don't get me started on transgenderism. All of this narcissism has taken over the gay rights movement. This is all so tiresome.

Intersex people have been telling “them” to cut it out for ages, they have no desire to be on the flag or included in the alphabet soup. They have been co-opted as a shield for the troons and that’s the only reason that they mentioned.

As a disabled person I have no wish to be included in the soup, not because of homophobia but because I don’t wish to be used as a prop by the kinds of people who push this shit.
