The problem with trolling and satire these days is that there's enough people who are dead serious about their insanity that you can't tell the difference anymore. For every one that's a tongue in cheek bit of humor, there's another 99 who absolutely mean it.

Like there was the Ukraine one and some people seemed to take that up as real, it's really hard to tell.

There were two Ukraine ones, one was a troll, but the other was sincere since it was being used at a Pride parade in Dublin IIRC

And the real one at Dublin Pride was worse than the troll one as the blue and yellow took over around half the flag. Yet, it "fact checks" as false on sites like Snopes as they ignore the real flag and only acknowledge the troll.

That's the problem with satire. If done poorly it can be subversive.
