Yes, well, I intend to address that, fairly - as well as my "Shills, Semantics, Pejoratives, Debates, Discussions, and Ethics in Social Media Moderating" which may be a hot discussion. Not only will it address issues and policies on SaidIt but also for the /s/Cassy projects where WE ALL can have input on their management. It may even provide the foundations for other and future forums to reference, discuss, and build upon regarding these problems that are not exclusive to SaidIt.

Meanwhile, before all that I have some /s/Cassy stuff to draft up - and a big Agenda 2030 speech to finish writing and perform on Saturday to 300+ folks, weather permitting. I'm planning for it to be an interactive performance that engages the crowd with my infotainment, and eventually I hope to perform it a few times, record it, edit it, and share it - along with the text so that anyone anywhere may also customize it as they see fit and perform it too.

Is there a blackpilled version of the right wing? by Basghetti in debatealtright

[–]cisheteroscum [score hidden]  (0 children)

"Blackpilled" means to be nihilistic or pessimistic to the point of hopelessness or disengagement. This can have different meanings depending on the context.

Obviously we are "blackpilled" on the prospect of democratic change under the current (Jewish) political system. But we aren't "blackpilled" in other ways (e.g. long-term survival of white people)

"Blackpilled" (Devon Stack) is a YouTuber/personality on our side

Does this mean that those with right wing views that are blackpilled are ousted from their groups

I don't understand what you mean. If you're truly "blackpilled," then you just drop out of whatever youre doing or stop caring

I'm not a lawyer, but if you're going to make a claim for damages, don't you need to prove that a) there was a duty of care and b) you yourself were harmed?

Did early Americans have a duty to free from bondage all those enslaved in pre-colonial African slave societies? No, of course not. Most of them would have been enslaved either way.

Have today's black Americans been harmed by the boat ride their ancestors were forced to take? No, they are far wealthier, healthier and better educated than the descendants of the enslaved Africans who were not brought to America.

Small bread loaf with Everything but the Bagel seasoning by AmericanMuskrat in Cooking

[–]AmericanMuskrat[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I did 2 cups of warm water, 2 tbsp of sugar (optional but it gets the yeast going faster), 2 tsp of salt (may want just 1 instead, I like it a little salty), and a heaping tbsp of yeast. You wait till that bubbles so you know the yeast is alive. Then add flour gradually until it has the consistency of playdough. It has to be kneaded until it's difficult to fold (no more than 10 minutes generally).

At this point I put the dough ball in a lightly oiled bowl to rise. When it doubles in volume you punch it down, I divide it in two, and one usually goes in the fridge (you can freeze it too) and the other goes into a bread pan. That's when I sprinkled the Everything but the Bagel seasoning on and lightly pressed it into the dough.

Then you go for your second rise. Again, it'd double in volume when it's done. You can test it by pressing a finger 1/2" into the dough, if the indentation pops out it's not ready yet, if it stays, it is.

Then I put it in a preheated oven with a oven safe bowl of water for moisture. I think this one was initially 400F then I dropped it to 375F after putting it in. That's all supposed to help the spring (the jump the yeast have from the warm temps before it kills them) and the texture of the crust. It took 40 minutes I believe.

To tell if it's done you tap on the bottom of the loaf, if it sounds hollow it's good, if it doesn't, put it back in the oven for a few minutes. Your sense of smell is helpful too, if it smells like toast you might have gone too long.

That's how I do it, that basic dough can do a lot of stuff too. Pizza crust, kolaches, bread sticks, whatever. But you might want to use an actual recipe. It's not as fun but not all my bread comes out right. I hear the King Arthur flour site has really good bread recipes.

A bicycle is any cycle that identifies as having two wheels. A unicycle is any cycle that identifies as having only one wheel. Most cycles don’t feel any disconnect between the number of wheels they were manufactured with and the number of wheels they identify as having.

Also- cycles are a spectrum, there’s not just those two cycles. There are also tricycles and quads and even bicycles with training wheels- none of them should be excluded from this discussion.

We should also make sure to note that there are many ways to be a bicycle- there are road bikes, tandem bikes, mountain bikes, electric bikes (to name a few, there are several more) and they are all valid.

The definitions that we’ve always used work perfectly as they stand. The onus is on you to show how they don’t work perfectly and you’ve failed to even come close to doing that.

Oh they love it, free speech has become a bad word, something allegedly only the far right wants. They see censorship, name calling, and deplatforming anyone who disagrees as a good thing.

It's scary, I've never seen such a fiercely regressive and hateful mainstream movement. Personally I'm getting sick of the "transphobic" slur being casually lobbed around.

im guessing this is the same pride committee filled with normal sane people who had to deal with the pride organizers that made national news because of the "whites pay money and black LGBTQRS people dont" venues they tried to set up.

And if anyone is wondering, that brown streak of shit smeared against the rainbow pride flag was the creation of an activist from philadelphia. So thats the environment this drama comes from.

It's interesting how all these hyper aggressive ideas that bisexuals have are never pushed against heterosexuals. The writer is a bisexual and thinks this is about her personal dating life and drama (a particular user here has those same beliefs) and in no way tied to actual, legitimate human rights.

She quotes a professor who i looked up (who happens to be a huge clown..and also a bisexual) who claims coming out is wrong because it heavily relies on and has the heritage of "homosexuals" coming out and homosexuality doesnt really exist because it historically never existed as a category (it's a social construct). And the concept of coming out doesnt serve bisexuals and the 300 other letters within the community because it's not about them and they're just sO FluId so "coming out" would mean they were lying all along!

Everything she says is correct if you see gays/lesbians and their identities and their communities as nothing more than a dating/sex scene that emerged for the benefit of others (we all know a particular user here that does believes this) instead of a 600 year struggle. Her vapid analysis doesnt even begin to scratch the surface of who and what gays/lesbians are. Yes... red is a social construct. Doesnt mean atoms dont reflect certain frequencies of light.

Homosexuals are a social construct but we can practice her ideas and go back to the utopia when everyone was "fluid"..which was medieval times. Homosexuality was an act and heterosexuality was a union. Homosexuality was grouped with beastiality, rape, domination, pedophilia and heterosexuality was an act you did before your god and empire. And she is correct, plenty of people trashed homosexuality as an act because of how their minds worked. I think we've all met them before. Hmmmm, i wonder what name we would give them today for their depraved sex acts: "im a bisexual but i can have no romantic or emotional bonds with the same sex. I love the opposite sex and want to start a family with them and pour all my love into this relationship but sometimes i like indulging in my fetish for the same sex and im valid!". And people wonder why homosexuality got such a bad reputation in those days and christians are convinced gays/lesbians are incapable of emotional bonds. So yes, we were all "blended" as a community and look where it got us. If we dont separate ourselves from these people, they'll end up ruining everything we worked for.

Gay/Lesbian love builds our community, not sex. And if you dont think people like this are dangerous, look up the bisexual professor's essays on why gays/lesbians dont need equal marriage rights.

And the comments are laughable as well. "This professor is sooo right! im a woman married to a man and sometimes i feel fluid so coming out of the closet feels like i was deceiving people but i didnt know i was bi until i was 30!". OK? So what? People like her dont build or create or sacrifice. It's the people who had to "come out" that built the spaces she feels should accommodate her.

However we cannot escape the fact that, generally, it is cis gay identities and not the vast spectrum of queer identities which have been given the biggest platform. "Coming out as a singular process," writes Suzanna, "depended on the establishment of a gay identity and a gay movement to make it happen." In other words, for the coming out narrative to be successful, you need the category of 'the homosexual' – and while we may imagine that to have always existed, it’s very much a 20th century phenomenon. As Suzanna writes: "As many historians and theorists have convincingly argued, the homosexual as a distinct category, a demarcated identity (rather than, say, a set of possible sexual acts or preferences) is a very modern invention, as is the heterosexual."

The narrowness of the concept of coming out and the language we use to describe it means it is no longer politically useful or reflective of the spectrum of identities that make up the LGBTQIAA+ community

Gay people have to "come out" if we want to live our lives openly and date or have sex or find a long-term partner! As a lesbian, if I stay closeted, I either have to hide my girlfriend and our relationship or I have to stay single, same for gay men. Because straight is the default in society. Nothing changes if you "stay in the closet" as a demisexual greyace pansexual transfemme, to your relationships (family, friends, coworkers, community), dating or sex life. You just show the world your raging narcissism.

Coming out and Pride are for same-sex attracted people! Lesbians, gays and bisexuals. Not straight people lacking personalities.

Articles like this should be the canary in the coalmine and should peak the fuck out of LGB people.

Philly Pride Presents had recently been under intense scrutiny, starting with backlash from a June 10 Facebook post about the history of the Stonewall Riots which contained language including “those dressed as women,"

Seriously, imagine generating backlash over a statement like "drag queens are men, usually gay men, who dress and perform as women". This is an accurate statement. But because the trans community insists on the lie that Stonewall was started by someone black and trans as a way of crafting a false hero for people to have to worship, truth is being labelled as bigotry. It's insane.

I'm a realist and an optimist too, yet I can clearly see ample hope and realized opportunity for our species. It's not unrealistic to remind yourself that eucatastrophe is our ultimate end, not existential dread and defeat. That is what being an optimist and a realist really means. It means never giving up on the reality of the cosmos and the laws that govern it, and knowing full well your place in things, and finding hope in your place.

There is plenty of hope for our kind, chances are slim for them. Never forget this. If there was only one unconquered human on this Earth, then our kind would still have better chances for success than them. This is the fact of the cosmos: life-affirmation will always defeat life-negation. What you seem confused over is the amount of time it takes for this victory to actualize itself. Sure, things are tight right now, and they've been tight all these past centuries, but that has no bearing on the actual ending of this story. The ending is one of truth, life, and just completion. That is nature.

What they are trying to do is untenable for nature to hold up forever. It has to end, and since our species has created strong rebellious figures and continues to do so, I foresee it ending with us. Whatever is happening on this planet is coming to a close, and the life-affirming reality that is around the corner can be clearly seen and felt. Indeed, religious folks of all cultures have been arguing over this eventuality for all of recorded history. It has been felt by the sensitive for thousands of years, and they never gave up hope. I stand with them, those humans of the past who never allowed for an inch of despair into their perspectives. Life should give you endless amounts of hope, unless something is wrong with you, at which point you should realize what's happening and recapitulate the lessons of eucatastrophe back into your life.

I admire that they didn't cave into the mob, but the mob still won. The witches may never have confessed but they were still thrown into the river.

LGBTQ community leader Kendall Stephens told PGN in a written statement: “The disbandment of PPP robbed the QTBIPOC community of an opportunity to be properly honored and represented in Pride Month festivities and disallowed a smooth transition of power and responsibility over Philly pride events to transpire.

Gosh, that's a telling acronym, isn't it?

Cant read it all.

But basically screw gay people, our trials and tribulations and the discrimination we face, and move over and listen to the true and meaningful stories about heterosexuals.

The last mountain to climb for gay rights is to ensure that we centre the “normal” straight people and thier plight and stop going on about our wierd lives and problems.
