Technically nothing is anonymous already. Things can already be traced back if you have high-enough level access to the internet backbones and the VPN companies. If the most powerful people in the world want to trace a signal back to a computer, they can.

The OP would lower the barrier to access for that information so that more companies and governments can do it, instead of a few fed agencies having a monopoly on that information. Which is probably not going to be great. I can imagine in the future perhaps large numbers of people may abandon the internet as it gets more corrupted and dangerous to use

I've read the projections are that world population will peak in 2050 at about 10-11 billion people.

Also the maximum growth rate of the world's population occurred in 1965, amazingly. The rate of exponential growth has been slowing ever since. We're probably on an S curve that will flatten out toward the end of our lives, and we'll see a relatively stable world population for the first time in world history potentially. That will cause huge changes in world culture.

What are some of the dirt-cheapest food you can buy that will yield the most proteins? by TheBlackSun in Food

[–]Questionable 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Potatoes; Not the answer you wanted:

Protein quality: Potatoes have a low protein content (1–1.5% of fresh weight), but the quality of potato protein is very good. The biological value of potato protein is between 90 and 100, which is higher than that of soybeans (84) and legumes (73).

Legumes contain high amounts of lectins. Peanuts are legumes.

  • Digestive Issues: Active legume lectins can bind to the cells lining the digestive tract, potentially disrupting the breakdown and absorption of nutrients. This interference with normal digestive processes may result in bloating, gas, stomach upset, and diarrhea.

  • Mineral Absorption Interference: Legume lectins have been found to interfere with the absorption of essential minerals such as calcium, iron, phosphorus, and zinc. This interference can prevent the body from effectively utilizing these important nutrients.

  • Autoimmune Response: Prolonged exposure to lectins that bind to cells for extended periods may trigger an autoimmune response in some individuals. This immune system reaction could potentially contribute to inflammatory conditions like rheumatoid arthritis and type 1 diabetes.

  • Malnutrition Risk: In cases where legume lectins hinder the absorption of vital nutrients like minerals or disrupt normal digestion, there is a risk of malnutrition over time if these effects are not addressed or compensated for through dietary adjustments.

  • Gastrointestinal Discomfort: Consumption of high levels of active legume lectins, especially from raw or undercooked legumes, can cause gastrointestinal discomfort such as nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain.

  • Inflammatory Conditions: While not conclusively proven in scientific studies yet, some theories suggest that lectins may play a role in promoting inflammation within the body, potentially contributing to chronic inflammatory conditions.

Germany didn't attack England

England attacked Germany.

Germany counterattacked England.

And England attacked Germany
supposedly 'in defence of Poland',
or, actually, in order to continue propping up
some infamous 'Piłsudski's colonels' hunta regime,
which no-one seems to mention somehow.

Now, once Germany (and most of Europe) were destroyed by WWII,
the Polish people were promptly delivered to Stalin,
the main 'good guy' of WWII, and,
incidentally, the worst mass murderer of the 20th century,
you know the one that did e.g. this:

The Katyn massacre was a series of mass executions of nearly 22,000 Polish military officers and intelligentsia prisoners of war carried out by the Soviet Union, specifically the NKVD ("People's Commissariat for Internal Affairs", the Soviet secret police) in April and May 1940. Though the killings also occurred in the Kalinin and Kharkiv prisons and elsewhere, the massacre is named after the Katyn forest, where some of the mass graves were first discovered by German Nazi forces. The order to execute captive members of the Polish officer corps was secretly issued by the Soviet Politburo led by Joseph Stalin.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katyn_massacre

WWII ended up costing ~80 million lives ...
in order to give Poland to Stalin.

I do still enjoy the 1984 version for its style choices and I love me some Lynch body horror, but the Weirding Module stuff was kinda silly. The TV Dune was great because it really aligned with the book, but the production values were so corny. I'm interested to see how Villeneuve handles Messiah. That is a tougher sell and I hope they don't just keep Chani alive so we see more Zendaya over telling that story.

The Russians may pursue some additional territory in the Baltics conceivably, or Moldova, but, these are tiny countries of little concern to other nations.

It’s worth keeping tabs on the various elements of elite disconnect with the lives of those they regard as the masses. An obvious one has been the economy, where pundits insist the meal is the menu, and because their preferred measures of labor market health look perky, and inflation has moderated significantly, those who dare say that the natives are unhappy with Biden policies are wrong and/or trying to foment discontent.

Never mind that even if food prices aren’t increasing by much in the US these days, they’ve risen by so much that many still have not adjusted to the higher baseline. Housing is not-to-barely affordable for many. Health care is too pricey and getting more so. And that’s before getting to health care shrinkage via service degradation, such as substitution of less-trained medical professionals for MDs.

Basically everything is falling apart for the working class, and the Democrats want to pretend it's a "messaging" problem.

The stats are plunging because most people don't reports the thefts any more because cops can't do anything. Even if they did find and arrest a thief, they are let out immediately so there's no point.

Yeah that makes sense and plays out that way too.

Being online skews pessimistic tendencies in people, myself included.

Here's what I will say though, understanding it, being aware of it, even outright understanding every single negative effect it has on your liberty and future, does not equal action in most people. That's the problem I have with it.

SF is so amazingly bad, I wonder if there will arrive a time when the people living there actually want it to change and improve.

SF is like one giant exercise in denial. Pretending things aren't happening that are obviously happening.

Well most people under 40 don't trust the TV news, yet people over 50 seem to trust it like it's God incarnate.

So I think a similar thing will happen with the internet, probably anyone born after 2020 or so will have a general distrust of the internet because they never saw the 1990s trustworthy version that we got trained on.

Just like I never saw the relatively trustworthy TV news of the 1970s that trained the boomers to trust the TV news even though it's so obviously untrustworthy these days. Old trust habits once learned are hard to break. My 2 cents.

Sugar is cancer food.

If you have cancer, and you go to the doctor and they want to amp the cancer up so they can medically image it most clearly before removal or treatment, they give you glucose. Which is sugar.

Which makes sense, because it requires no metabolism chain to use unlike starches or protein, sugar is energy ready to use for any bacteria or microorganism that wants it. That's why people get an instant burst of energy when they eat a bunch of sugar. But that's also why it feeds cancer and why foods that take longer to metabolize are better for you in general.

That's fair, I just hope that's even possible? Most people can "feel" and somewhat understand that even without this they are being lied to and propagandized, yet, they still stare at it and parrot it in droves.

I'm just too pessimistic about the common man, as I should be I guess.

Yes and it seems to be a manual spammer that occasionally uses the scripts. I am almost certain he would be 1 step ahead of these lists, because the lists form in reaction to the activity which is always first, and his IPs are not limited to any range and change with each request. It's whack-a-mole

That is the benefit to using these actively maintained lists is that some other bot or person is updating the lists but yea it is never going to be perfect. Especially if it is a manual spammer. Should help against big bot spam scripts though.
