Are people seriously trying to say repealing non-discrimination laws is a good thing, that discrimination will actually help fair employment and education? And the senate actually voted yes?! What kind of upside down Twilight Zone shit am I living in?? I want off this ride.

They act as if these heinous crimes are the result of an organized business that must follow politically correct practices. I’m picturing these criminals with a quota sheet, losing sleep out of worry for not meeting their monthly quota of transwomen. At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if we can’t petition against crimes if it hurts the predators feelings.

This is so beyond ignorance, we need a new word! To actively refuse petitions trying to help women or rape victims for such selfish reasons is disgusting.

[–]its1342 9 insightful - 2 fun9 insightful - 1 fun10 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Big fat nope!! I used to give people benefit of the doubt, “maybe transmen truly are just running from being a woman, maybe transwomen really do think they're women”. Then I realized almost anyone is capable of acting normal in public. Just about every single trans person I’ve met has had some heavy mental health issues under the surface, but you’d only know it after getting to know them.

Warning, extra long personal life-scarring story ahead:

I worked with a TIM about 9 years ago (back when I was naive and supported the bathroom bills). Some random days he would come in dressed completely goth with chains, spikes, black lips, the whole 9- but otherwise he was pretty laid back, funny, and relatively normal. One day he came in extra excited because our work was going to allow him to start using the women’s room and it happened to be the same day he got some kind of fake boobs to wear? I thought it was weird but he was happy so I was supportive, so to “celebrate” we agreed to take an early lunch together.

He must’ve felt comfortable since I was supportive of him, and took that as an invitation to go into waaayy too much detail about his personal issues. He talked about having multiple personalities (why he would randomly show up goth), one of the personalities wasn’t actually a personality but a being from another planet that would communicate with him in a language only he understood. He told me he would tell them all about “earth things”, work, and me and wanted me to “talk to him through him”.

Here’s this chill guy I worked next to and ate lunch with for 6 months and had no idea he’d turn out to be absolutely mental. We had a table in a restaurant so I couldn’t dip and honestly I was nervous about pissing him off. Worst lunch of my life. I wound up quitting a month later for unrelated reason but my god.

Every trans person I’ve met since then, has shown signs of being “off” and as soon as that happens I don’t stick around to find out why. Somehow, god knows why, that wasn’t the thing to peak me. I was still open to being “respectful” and playing along for those 9 years until I finally found GC earlier this year and make the connection to sex-based rights and children’s safety being at risk. It’s insane how much information you don’t even realize you’re missing when it comes to “back burner” topics. It’s also scary how many other people just aren’t aware of the weight it carries either.

I’d probably just wait until the GC website is up. This place is a good temporary home, but I dont think it’s very secure. If you google it, its been targeted the past few months and been attacked.

If for some reason it gets revealed that she’s participating on this site (even if it’s a slim chance), she’d probably lose a lot of credibility for her arguments since this site is home to some real 4chan level views. Even for us really, the sooner we’re out of here the better.

[–]its1342 10 insightful - 1 fun10 insightful - 0 fun11 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I’ll try to explain my understanding of gender vs sex. There will be a lot of redundancy but I think it’s necessary when explaining terms that get confused easily:

Sex is biological, male or female. “Male” and “female” are applicable to most species of animals, so to distinguish male and female humans we use the words man and woman.

Gender is like a terrible nickname, but instead of being based on an embarrassing moment, it’s based on your sex. It’s given to you by society the day you are born and once determined, it’s the guiding principle for others on how to treat you. Gender is a sex-based stereotype.

This is the only way sex and gender are linked. Gender is “socially constructed” from your sex (ie, society constructing stereotypes based on your sex).

You, as an individual, can not change gender as a whole. It’s why things are labeled masculine or feminine, the reason baby boys have blue rooms and girls, pink; why men wear suits and women wear heels. Gender is a sex-based stereotype.

Colors are just colors, clothes are just pieces of manufactured materials, these things have no link to biology.

However, because society only categorizes things as either masculine or feminine, things like colors and clothes are stereotyped and arbitrarily placed into these gender boxes. Many people feel they must conform to these “rules” and stay within the restrictions of the gender-box society put them in (women in the feminine box, men in the masculine box).

Those who choose not to conform to society’s rules and ignore the gender boxes can be seen as “gender non-conforming”. However, just because they aren’t listening to society’s stereotypes doesn’t stop them from being a human male (man) or human female (woman).

Realistically, every single person is already gender non-conforming in some way. In an ideal world, gender (sex-based stereotypes) wouldn’t exist at all. There would be no boxes to fit into to.

This is why things like non-binary, transgender, genderfluid, etc. are completely nonsensical. Not fitting into a box doesn’t require an additional box being made, a human male (man) enjoying the feminine box doesn’t turn him into a human female (woman). Liking some things from the masculine box, and some from the feminine box doesn’t require a third box labeled non-binary or genderfluid.

These labels and mental gymnastics do nothing but harm and just reinforce the idea that societal sex-based stereotypes (gender) are necessary and set in stone, rather than eliminating them all together and allowing people to live as themselves.

(As an aside, this is the basis for “gender critical” thinking- rejecting/being critical of the concept of gender and the effects it has on society as a whole.)

I once screenshotted the traits of narcissism as a reply, and they went to cry to their trans sub titling it something like “terf makes checklist of narcissism as a comparison of trans” but it backfired.

The replies were literally not refuting it, just a collection of “yeah well google isn’t a diagnostic tool” and “no u”.

But the best ones were “I actually have a lot of those traits.. but that doesn’t mean-!” and “they forgot to check these two other ones... but they’re still wrong!”

It was beautiful.

They unironically consider reading rational, opposing views a “form of self harm” and they’re actually asking for alternative subs to go feel victimized from. Pretty sure that’s why they say we’re “literally violent”.

You’ve got to really have a deep hatred of yourself if just reading words is considered “violent self harm” but I guess that’s what you get when you mix delusion with gaslighting.

I saw YouTube comments of someone saying the “Commanding SgtMaj killed himself too but we cant find him”. Thought it was a troll since the comment got deleted within an hour... but then so did the Army's Chain of Command profile page of him so the whole thing seems deeper than they're letting on.

Thank you, I’m glad to hear there are other’s that have had enough.

For context, he walked in the bathroom to find his cat tore up the condom drawer with the condoms “scattered all around”. So instead of inspecting them he just threw them back in the draw and was apparently “surprised” when they didn’t work, then blames the cat for getting her pregnant, not his ignorance. He even made a comment about her “swallowing like a champ for years”.

I am so disgusted and sad for her.
