Wow, poor Alex, she was so prominent intersex advocate, who was banned from Twitter for "transphobia", because her own intersex condition, which has everything to do with biological reality was somehow "transphobic". And now even her medical treatment is under the question because now her biological needs are "transphobic" as well.

Poor intersex people, TRA are dragging their conditions everywhere, dehumanizing them. And pushing laws or ideas that will hurt or even murder real intersex people. It is so vile and scary.

GC: Why is there more focus on trans women than trans men? by Genderbender in GCdebatesQT

[–]AlexisK 11 insightful - 2 fun11 insightful - 1 fun12 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Transgender movement themselves are not focused on them, and they aren't creating much problems or taking away places.

In general - they aren't taking top positions in men's organizations, they aren't leading what men's organizations do and say, they are not changing language for men, they are not more danger to men in sports or toilets than other men. In USA in last year out of 21 transgender politicians elected - 20 are transwomen and only 1 transman. Power dynamics are same as between sexes, changing gender did not changed power dynamics or amount of privileges they have - oppression still left sex-based. Same with healthcare - women's healthcare is underresearched, and transwomen taking there leading positions and moving into "universal healthcare" means that women's healthcare will stay underresearched, while for men it is not that big of a problem, similarly transwomen's healthcare is much better researched than transmen's - sex dynamics are staying the same. Similarly with crime statistics and with putting transwomen and transmen in prisons of respective sex. It will be dangerous to transman to be put into men's prison, but for transwomen it is the opposite - they will be the danger, especially considering that a lot of criminals are faking transgender status to get into women's prisons. And so on.

However, even if transmen were taking men's position - it would not be that big of a problem, because historically it is women's organizations which were always supervised by men, it is women who were not allowed to do anything without men. Similarly how you would not be bothered if black person will start taking leading positions in organizations for white people in USA will be different to when white people will take leading positions in organizations for black people. The history of oppression and current power dynamics - makes those similar situations unequal. Same with transgender people.

And there were more, like World's Rugby research, USA Military multiple researches, and so on.

That if you need specifically transwomen. In general there a lot of researches about differences in people born male and people born female in general.

And lets not forget small details like - every year up to 500 boys pre-18 are beating all-time female recrods in running.

There are huge differences, hormones are just small part of them. With same weight and height transwomen would have bigger lunghs size, heart size, faster metabolism, different pelvic structure, different walking muscles and bones positions, faster blood and muscle oxynization, bigger percentage of muscles, wider muscle fibers, and so on. Hormones are just small part of it, and even with it - testosterone chances are irreversable. Of course, transwomen are starting to lose some advantages with hormones and cross-sex hormones, but they still have huge advantages over females. Every single modern research with big sample size and which is peer reviewed is showing this. Don't deny biology - this looks ridiculous.

GC & QT: What are your views? by PeakingPeachEater in GCdebatesQT

[–]AlexisK 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

There are women much stronger than men, it is not the reason to include any men in sports.

Males when trained will have unfair advantage and an edge over females. And it is not fair competition.

In contact sports even weak males are still more durable than females, with stronger bones, wider muscles and so on. This makes big concerns about female's safety. Even transwomen on estrogene are still much more durable than "people born female" (includint transmen) and can easily cause harm.

Sport is about safety and fairness of competition. And professional sports is starting at early years.

So it is just unfair that someone like CeCe competes against "people born female". Women (female) in same category just can not even remotely win against CeCe, difference is 10+%, which is just impossible to overcome for any female in same category. Of course - olympic champion will win over CeCe, maybe even by 5-7%, however, CeCe with that time would take 12-16th place in Olympic Games if competed against well trained best women in the world. It is just unfair and impossible to win for "girls born female". Sport is not validation playground, if it lacks equality - then there no reason for it to exist, what the point of female category then?

And I see that you don't want to understand this or you don't care, so I will leave it here.

[–]AlexisK 6 insightful - 3 fun6 insightful - 2 fun7 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

It makes it much more unfair for "girls born female". It makes it impossible in any serious competition for "people born female" to win at all. It makes it much more dangerous for "people born female" in close contact sports like Rugby or boxing.

You know that CeCe Telfer only improved their time after transition? So CeCe could still compete against men with no issues. CeCe was 200th in men's category with CeCe's best time, and then CeCe only improved time, so could be maybe 150th now, and not 1st in women's category, while being 8-10% faster than second girl in same category. And 9-12% time difference is exactly time difference between best men and women in respective categories. In running male and female world records are around that difference too.

So yes, it is making it much more unfair for "girls born female". It makes it almost meaningless to even try to compete for "girls born female", as there would not be even a chance to win - regardless how hard they try.

So lets make all sports unisex, right? Women and girls do not deserve fair competition, do not deserve being in top 5000. Someone will always lose anyways, so why even bother to give fair chances to women?

Poor transgirl of color can try hard and win male competition. While poor girl of color can try hard and still lose to just average transgirl.

It is not fair. If chances are not equal, if there no chances at all - regardless of how you try - then it is not even remotely fair.

I can't understand how it is related to abolition of gender at all. Gender non conformity is what stigmatized by Gender Identity movement, as it says that there must be strict gender roles of how women or men should look, act or behave. Gender Critical position is mostly to abolish gender and to promote gender non-conformity, make it norm, so everyone can look and behave however they want. which causes no harm

Taking away scholarships from girls of color or girls in poverty is not "no harm".

There was one guy, who threatened to do suicide if me and my girlfriend refused to have sex with him. After that next day he attempted suicide and almost died, but was saved by doctors.

So by not having threesome on his demand I was murdering him? Suicide threats is one of common tactics of abusers and of coercive control over women in abusive relationships.

Anyways, about your link - how exactly "doing sports with your sex group" is "murdering" that person? Why doing sports with opposite sex is saving life, but doing the very same sports with your sex is murdering that person? And with your aim to abolish gender and making it unisex - what the difference then, in both cases person will play with their sex in the end?

Those questions are always forgetting different cultures, where manly men can look like transwomen or wear dresses and where dresses or skirts can be forbidden for women to wear, so transman here or transwomen there would be seen just as regular females or males accordingly.

In general, just cultural aspect is breaking apart whole gender ideology. Same with sexual orientations (and that conversion therapies had no effect on changing sexual orientation) which are making all gender ideology arguments to make no sense.

I think for most GC people, the variations of attraction that don't have to do with sexual orientation

I would not say it is for most GC people, it is true for most people period. Sexuality is not social, but biological, function. And we could saw that in last 50+ years, when women started doing "men's jobs" and wearing "men's clothing" - we did not got much more gay men and it is not considered as change in sexuality either. At least until last 5 years, when gender ideology started changed meanings of words every few months, so even for QT people it is impossible to clearly understand anything anymore.

Just because I'm against sex-segregated spaces in particular, doesn't mean I'm against safeguarding.

That's an oxymoron.

Men are abused by women too

Here is example how transman who was abused by a man then was abused by a woman

That's kinda funny.

You are saying that women (females) are abusing men (males), but instead you are giving examples of transmen (females) being abused.

But many people believe women don't abuse men, especially many (but not all) gender criticals. Here is a post from the old GC sub.

No one is saying "don't", there was writtend "overwhelming majority".

Study

That one is pretty weird one, because "woman screaming" or "woman slapping face" are written as violence. And it is like that with all such researches.

Like this one: https://webshare.law.ucla.edu/Faculty/bibs/stemple/Stemple-SexualVictimizationPerpetratedFinal.pdf

It is adding "women begging and nagging for sex" as form of "women raping men": https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EvI0MMNWgAcQtdT?format=jpg&name=large

It is just very unequal measuring.

And those studies should be very offensive to men, because they are showing men as extremely weak and fragile, to whom just little touch is causing same pain as for women being beaten to half-death.

Plus most of you showing was "wife abusing husband" or other forms of close relationship, not women abusing random men outside, so it does not matter in this context anyways.

And,

Women’s Violence Usually Occurs in the Context of Violence Against Them by Their Male Partners

You should read more accurately what you are citing.

Again, this answer is so bizzare. Have you been living on planet Earth at all? This looks like either you are ignorant and dishonest, or you are very privileged middle/high-middle class woman from a good neighbourhood.

Maybe because of criminal statistics? Of how patriarchy works? Of how males are much stronger physically and faster than females on average? Because if stranger male is entering safe zone - this means they are most likely have vile intent, because good males would prefer to not create any discomfort for women? And that 85% of violent crimes are done by males, and of them 96-97% violent crimes against females are done by males? That 99+% of all rapists are males and almost 100% of all rapes against women are done by males? And that almost all cases of filming are done by males?

While if stranger is female - most likely you have similar strenght, similar running speed, and that most likely that female have no vile intent at all? And even if in very rare case when you get raped by another female - you can't get pregnant? And seems you don't know why it is when dark at night you are returning from a job if you hear female steps it is more like a relief, while hearing male footsteps will make you feel fear?

That question "what difference" is so bizzare, and said from such a big privilege position.

So if most rapes are not happening there, this means we should not make sure that those places are safe? Or that we should make those places less safe to make most rapes happen there? Why are you against safeguarding so much? This is so bizzare.

Changes on lowering safeguarding and on remaking all to unisex will hurt marginalized groups of women first - women of color, women from poor families, lesbians, and so on - would be affected first and hurt the most. Any empathy for them? No?

If you want to prevent rape, ban late night house parties.

Ah, I see, you are from that part of people, who believe that women are guilty in being raped.

Iran have rape crisis now, and there women not allowed to walk around almost never, and they have full body coverage.

Banning females from going into late night house parties will not save them from being raped by males.

Then criminals have the least chances of raping people.

Why you can't name the problem? It is males who are raping females. Men who are raping women, in 99+% cases, depending on country. Do not obscure problem, as problem can not be solved if it can not be named.

Safeguarding is "how to make sure that criminals have the least chances on ruining lives of people".

It is much better to prevent rape from happening, than put rapist in prison for few years after he ruined at least one life (and considering conviction rate, in most cases he will not even get to prison for deeds).

That is one of few reasons why mainstream feminism in Korea is radical feminism and not liberal feminism, as issues there very serious and not adressed by government at all for at least 10 years of it happening and increasing.

This problem is similar to japanese problem of women and school girls being groped in public transport. In big cities almost 100% of women were sexually harassed at least once in their lives in public transport. Last 4 years Japan is fighting against it, there were added female-only sections in public transport, for example, and punishment became much more severe. So now it goes down, but not that hugely down, as women still not always believed and they are portrayed as "she just want to ruin that man's life", etc.

Back to Korea. There even separate word for thoss spy cameras: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Molka

And in general - every year it becomes worse and worse, in 2019 and 2020 those cameras started appearing in female-only spaces too, previously they were mainly in unisex spaces, so it was almost impossible to use unisex spaces without a fear to then appear on porn sites or sold for perverts on usb-flash sticks (and porn is illegal in Korea): https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-50582338

https://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2020/01/13/asia-pacific/crime-legal-asia-pacific/south-korea-spy-cam-epidemic/

That's really huge problem there.

I know it is an issue in USA and Canada as well, but it is not very common and mostly appears only in unisex toilets, and mostly where younger women/girls are visiting them. So in school, colleges, universities, sports circles.

In UK in unisex bathrooms/toilets in sports circles rape cases are 9 times more often occuring than in sports circles with single-sex bathrooms/toilets. Sexual harassment and body shaming or period shaming happens 80+ times more often in unisex ones. And UK is one of safest countries with least of offenses in the world. So in other countries this number should be much worse.

Safeguarding, dignity and rights are not "privilege", mister DARVOist.

Looks like you are not even believing in what you are saying and just trying to say something that may hurt women here. That's a troll behaviour. I should stop engaging, you are making this place a circlejerk and not discussion place.

Your rights can't interfere with rights of others either. If group have rights that can interfere rights and boundaries of others - that group is the oppressor by definition. This means that it is your groups that is oppressor, not other way around.

So again: Go DARVO somewhere else.

Not allowing group of people to have boundaries and then calling them oppressors, while being the one yorself.

Go DARVO somewhere else.

Mask slipped off, if there even was one.

You believe women have no right to say "no", because her saying "no" is infringing someone elses "rights"? It is so male thing to say.

If man wanted to wear "women's cloths" - he'd buy one to himself to his size, while using cloths that is not your size and that was used already - is clearly fetish. Especially those men, who are not wearing clean cloths, but only ones that were worn by their wives recently.

Feminism? Don't do the victim blaming. No women are guilty in this, it all was done by same group of trans activists, who were pinning dead mice to the doors of VRR.

Objection to homosexuality is already repulsion, regardles if it is emotional or non-emotional, logical or not logical. Moral that is not allowing two men or two women be together is repulsing homosexuality. So it is homophobic.

Being homosexual is not a bigotry, calling it bigotry is a bigotry and gaslighting, so it is not opens doors for TRA in any possible way. And saying it is - is gaslighting and homophobic, as it takes idea that homosexuality is "love to masculinity" or "love to femininity" as true.

Men on men violence is not women's fault and not women's issue.

Men not beating women and "being less masculine" (what does that even mean?) is not a fault, but a victory for both men and women.

Older men are very mentally fragile and emotional too, they just spending those emotions as agression, most often agression to weaker people - kids, younger men, women. This was always the case before, nothing changed. Only changes is that gender stereotypes were partially abolished, so women started doing "men's jobs" and men started wearing different colors and clothing - and it has nothing to do with feminism, Glam Rock, David Bowie and many men activists, who were fighting for this, are reason of it. Stop blaming women on everything!

It is essense of lesbophobic stereotypes. It is factually not true. I am strongly prefering butch lesbians, and I am femme one myself. All my girlfriends were butch. I am bisexual now or what? It is bullshit and bunch of stereotypes.

Saying that "only lipstick lesbians" are "perfect lesbians" is lesbophobic as well.

Lesbians are loving any women, not "should date someone who look like women", we loving women, we not loving "femininity". It is trans ideologists are ones who are pushing that we liking femininity only - and obviously it is lies. We love women, not femininity. And women can be different, there no "correct way to be woman" or "correct way to look like a woman", we are simply just are women, that is it.
