Because it's a miserable disease, it ruins lives and takes 41% of them. Honestly with how crap life is with it, 41% seems low to me. I would think it'd be more like 80%. I guess it probably is once you factor out all the blue-haired trenders. I hope that one day this disorder will be eradicated from the face of the earth.

I do not, and lemme 'splain. I have talked at length to multiple people in the OG trannie community and they all said the same thing point blank. Trannie used to be a sexuality, a fetish, NOT an ideology. As a matter of fact, and you can verify this quickly growing trend, the LGBT community, that's right, only those 4 letters, is tired of these young millennials and gen-z INSANE people who have co-oped their community and completely ruined it, discredited it, and rolled back their progress 15 years. They are starting in droves to kick out all the other letters, and anyone who thinks anything in that community is anything more than sexuality, NOT IDEOLOGY. And frankly, I could not be happier about it.

They have all said the same thing, these communities were started to be able to be around people with your same likes and kinks, while also fighting for equality for those people. Fighting for equality is INCLUSIONARY. What these ideological people are doing is EXCLUSIONARY, they are trying to force others to lose their rights, force them to speak how they want, force them to be silent when they do not like what they say, force them to go to the back of the bus while they get to be in front, and they want to become the oppressor. LGBT community and the black community have long fought against oppressors, so it is QUITE the slap to the face of all OG members of both groups to see them be the very thing they fought so hard and long against.

What trash people, they have nothing of their own, cannot create anything of their own, are bankrupt of talent, care, emotions other than outrage and victimhood, and they know it so they have to steal existing things, and then DESTROY them in the name of their ideology. It is disgusting to see, even more so to be demonized by them for something we cannot control (sound familiar? Yeah LGBT and Black community said this SAME thing) no matter how much we support equality (not equity fuck you) and have worked to help achieve it. Shit, if people in their own community spoke out they would outright attack them and run them out of the community. Well, the ACTUAL community is fucking fed up with it and starting taking it back. They are older, wiser, and actually have money to do something about. This will be awesome to watch, grab some popcorn boys, and I really do hope as this pendulum swings back from all the CRAZY shit these ideological children have tried to force on people that once that pendulum swings as far back as it will go, that the REAL minority communities just looking for equality do not lose what they fought so hard to gain.

It's not that people on the fringes should not exist. People on the fringes of society have existed for the entire history of humanity, and societies figure out better or worse ways of handling that.

What has so many of us so pissed off is the use of force to declare the fringe to be the mainstream and the resultant punishment of the traditional majority to mandate not just acceptance of but obedience to the fucked up thinking these people are expressing.

I have said for years this is a mental illness. I have great sympathy for those with mental illness. I want them to learn to be happy. But this crew doesn't want to learn to be happy among their peers. They want society to obey them. Their endpoint is that their fucked up thinking is the norm. No fucking way. I'm sorry they think in a way that makes them miserable and I wish them the best speed at figuring out how to escape that thinking. But enforcing their own fucked up ideology on to others is both radically stupid and radically evil. It's stupid because even if it works, the people working so hard to become the enforced ideological center are going to remain miserable. Guaranteed. Fighting reality will do that to you.

As a bi-polar and ADHD person since the 80's, mental health is super close to my heart and I have worked hard online to try and get people to understand there is no difference between mental and physical health, they are both parts of your body and mostly are fixed the same way, meds, diet, and exercise.

You hit the nail on the head and said it better than I. When the 1-5% think they deserve to be treated not as just the majority, but ABOVE everyone else, special rights, pedestal because they are SOoOoOoo brave for faking they are a girl. Nearly as bad as the TikTok medical issue fakers... you know the autism, neurodivergent, multiple personalities, etc... because just like LGBT this is en vouge right now. We used to call that cosplay.... that's about it.

Hate to break it to you, but they already have. Just look at how many people in the past 2 years went from reasonable to obsessed with hating Jews, blacks, gays, trannies, and even women.

I am not a transvestite as far as I can tell. I'm tired of the gender movement forcing me to conflate two different things. I don't crossdress and I don't live by female gender roles. I never identified as female. Actually it would probably be easier to continue identifying as male so I don't have to change a whole bunch of things. For the longest time I've effectively hoped my sex would change but somehow no one would notice. If biological sex wasn't real, I wouldn't be whining about this right now. I was fortunate enough to not really get genital dysphoria and was able to live a mostly normal childhood, but this post-pubescent body isn't going to work. It feels like I'm trapped in a costume, and I'm really bad with sensory discomforts. I don't recognize myself in the mirror anymore either, but that's beside the point. I'm fine with the transvestites standing up for themselves and trying to win acceptance, but NOT at the expensive of people who suffer from a horrible tragic disease. People like me have been found to have certain genetic defects in common, we're not just drag queens. This is not a social construct. I am not interested in changing anything that doesn't come with me into the shower (and no, I'm not interested in boobs either).

No, because I've had that diagnosis for most of my life. Apparently it's hard to pick up on, but luckily one of my doctors has it himself and was able to catch it.

Not sure. Your mention of sensory discomforts prompted my question. I guess I was wondering if the sex dysphoria (to crib the term you used elsewhere) might be thought of as an extension of the sensory problem, i.e, the persistent awareness of your twig n' berries might be the thing that's the core discomfort, and if there might be some autism based therapy strategies that could lead you to be less uncomfortable with your factory settings.

I think it definitely intensifies the problem, and maybe it's the reason it's significant at all. But that's not going to change. It can't be the cause, because I notice things being off even if they don't bother me, like my hands being too big. It's also quite the coincidence that all the bothersome features are sex differences.

I agree with you, but not how you think. There is a huge difference, IMO, between a person wanting to transition fully to another sex, bottom/top surgery and all. That is 100% their right as long as they are an adult, and I think not a lot of people are actually against THAT. They need a new label for that, because we now label everything... another thing these communities fought against, because those people belong in a totally separate group. You have OG trannies that it is fetish/sexual, you have the ideological trash that feel like they are male or female per day with no other changes at all.... we call that cosplaying and I do NOT have to buy into your bullshit. Then the last would be people actually with gender dysmorphia and want to switch genders, and I am willing to bet most of those people did not just recently "decide" that fits them once this trend got fashionable, knew from early early childhood, even if they rejected it because of social reasons.

I'm pretty sure I fall into the dysmorphia group. If anything the trans activists held me back, because all I saw was transvestites and confused kids. And that may very well have ruined my life, because I think 5-10 years ago people would've been willing to listen long enough for me explain the difference, whereas now they just have a knee-jerk reaction and immediately start calling hellfire down on you. And the worst part is, I can't even blame them for the most part.

      That's not a disorder. That's called gender non-conforming.       I dont believe that discomfort has a biological source. You wouldn't feel like your body is foreign or deformed if you hadn't other people telling you how a man or a woman should look like, what life they should have or how they should behave. In an environment with no human society, gender dysphoria can't exist, you would feel neutral about your body.

      No, I wouldn't, and in fact I didn't until I figured out that pretty much all the parts of my body that don't seem right to me are sex differences. It would actually be easier if I could change sexes only in my point of view. I have no social reason to make the switch, in fact quite the contrary.

      Most of the people who have this problem have some genetic defects in common. You can't just chalk that up to coincidence. Especially when it turns out those same genes are involved with neurological development from hormones.

      The genitals aren't always clearly affected. XXY males for example have seemingly normal genitals. There are also intersex complications caused by hormones alone. On the most extreme end this can actually result in a XX male or XY female. Born, not transed. There are issues with fertility but they otherwise function normally. The difference is they had those hormones since before birth, whereas trannies were already mostly developed one way before switching them.

      My guess is, someone like me had abnormal brain development pre-birth. That doesn't really mean I have a "female brain", because 99% of the differences come along during puberty; but unfortunately my sense of how my body should feel (and to some extent certain skills I should have) seems to have been set from the beginning.

      This condition has been linked to certain genetic defects, on genes that just so happen to be involved with hormonal development. What a coincidence. It's also linked to other intersex conditions such as XXY (which I actually might be).

      I do have a few physical abnormalities too. Nothing noticeable, but I have slightly curvy hips, and some feminine facial features I've not noticed on any other men. I don't know if that's connected. It's not nearly enough for me in any case.

      I've completely failed to develop either a sexuality or a gender identity (if such a thing even exists), so there's no explaining this as me wanting to escape gender expectations. Although I very much do, I acknowledge that as a completely separate issue. And I don't have much desire to fit into female roles either, so there's that. Actually, I'd be fine with only changing sexes in my own perspective. Referring to me with certain a pronoun isn't going to do me any favors or disservice. I understand that those people want to be seen a certain way and included, but they are facing sexism, not sex dysphoria (I'm trying to avoid the word "gender" since its definition changes every like, minute).

      There has always been and will always be transgendered in every human community. Chalk it up to biological variation. Any skew from the norm must be represented in any large population because that's how biology works. Have you ever noticed, whatever weird kink or deviancy you can think of, someone has tried it, and a few really like it? That's what is going on here. Life covers all it's bases by being very lax with the rules at the extremes.

        Hey, some people actually are better off with it. I think your judgement is clouded by your instinct to maximize fertility for your kind.

        At any rate, transvestites should not be getting this treatment. It should only be the tiny unfortunate minority that's born with some kind of disorder (I don't know what to call it because you're not allowed to talk about it), and even then many don't need to go that far. Otherwise it's sexism. If a transvestite tries to get a sex change, they'll end up with dysphoria.

            It's not the welfare state, because I don't come from that. But the fact is mentally ill and overly sensitive people would not have survived even 100 years ago. We stopped natural selection so now the gene pool is unhealthy.

            Mutated violent ghetto dwellers are probably the exact kind of people who would win at nautral selection. But we live in a civilized world where they can't just go out and kill anyone they want.

            The welfare state is part of the problem, but I think it's also civilization in general. I did not come from a welfare family. But I think that if I had been born even 50 years ago the stress would've killed me a lot sooner. Actually, I wouldn't have been born, because many of my ancestors would've died too. I only survived now because of modern luxuries, and even so I'm only barely getting by. Yes, I'm that laughably weak and defective. Mentally ill people in my family had kids, and then those kids had kids, and so on, until you get me, an absolutely hopeless broken mess of a person. Civilization is good, but I think people should consider whether their genes will provide their kids good quality of life before having kids.

            We probably have enough left in the tank for civilization to go on for a while, like the Roman Empire in its last 200 years of its existence. But when intelligent people are finally too few and far between, the water stops coming out of the tap, no one can repair the electrical generators, crops go unattended. Glad I won’t live to see it.

            The brain finishes developing in the mid to late 20's. Your 'condition' isn't going to seem any better if negative thought patterns are encouraged.
