I'm sure she did. Or at least she told some reporter that she reached out to the Rittenhouse family to take them up on their spokesman's sentiment that the country needs to bridge divides. She has a team behind her as well and the playbook in these situations is to seize back the moral highground through a rigged "dialogue".
