An older middle aged man I know from a shared sports hobby told me recently that he's a woman and is now ready to come out. He's always appeared as a fairly normal guy but when telling me this, his whole body language was stupid pretend 'womanliness' with exaggerated head tilts and camp hand gestures. I've usually tried to strike a balance between polite friendliness and distance from this guy as I've occasionally gotten a vibe that he may be attracted to me as he's often over the top with his compliments, and he usually focusses on my appearance rather than my performance.

While he was telling me about his real womanliness my initial reaction was a mix of 'oh shit, I don't want to have to try and live my normal life around this guy's publicly practiced fetish' and 'well at least if he hits on me, I can just tell him I'm not a lesbian.' But then he started moving on from how he's secretly been a woman for years, to how happy he is to be around me as he loves watching me. How he wants to be like me. To move like me. And then he fixated on my flexibility and how he dreams of being so flexible and fit. Just like me.

I've read enough of these trans guy's rants on the internet to know that a lot of them fixate on one woman that they see themselves as and then developing a rage towards them when they can't be them. And I'm worried that I might be that for this guy. I hadn't even noticed it at first but he was dressed like I do when I'm coaching. So I'm very much looking forward to him going on estrogen soon, as he's told me he's waiting to be prescribed. And eventually going insane when he realises that he's never going to look like a very small, noticeably younger woman.

Thanks. I'm largely just really fucked off that this has crept into something that I do to relax. Though I'm also a bit morbidly fascinated about what's going to happen next. There are a lot of kids on site and if he starts using the girls bathroom, I'm not sure how a lot of the parents are going to react. Could be a real headache for the building owner as either way he could end up having to deal with angry people.

The thing is this guy has always seemed nice enough, I've never gotten a creepy vibe off him. I kind of wonder if maybe he isn't the brightest and is being swept along by online communities and probably too much porn? It's honestly quite hard to think that he's a danger to anyone but I wouldn't have expected this either. And I guess, not everyone who's a danger to other people is obvious about it. Or maybe I'm just a really shit judge of character and he's always been creepy and I wasn't picking up on it.

I don't really think I'm in any danger not at this point anyway. We're never alone together and there are a lot of security cameras in the building. But I'll definitely make sure I'm never locking up or opening up if it's just the two of us. I almost never drive straight home when I'm done. I think, to be on the safe side, I'll make sure I never do that. And I'll 100% avoid talking to him so much. I'm just hopeful that he peaks people rather than gets warmly accepted. Kids are honest, so the odds are, they'll laugh at him if he shows up in a wig and a dress. He might find that he doesn't get the big happy welcome he's anticipating and back off.

I'd suggest backing as far off of interactions with him as you can. No casual talk, no nothing other than strictly what your job requires. If he's being encouraged by Reddit trannies who delusionally think that having his "womanhood" in common with you is going to make it easier to talk to you, then maybe giving him the opposite result will shake him out of this stupidity. Yeah, I saw this guy this morning and he's now in 'woman' mode and was wearing a wig and a stuffed bra. When he saw me he did a big wave and smile and was clearly assuming I'd come and congratulate my new gal-pal. I just gave him a polite wave and largely ignored him for the rest of the session. I'm not going to be rude and shun him but I have no intention of talking to him one to one. I'll be polite if we end up talking in a group context but that's it. I don't coach him and if he says anything about coming to my lessons, I'll tell him, honestly tbf, that he's too advanced for my group.

I'm going to keep my own reservations to myself and let it appear that I'm fine with 'her.' While also watching him like a fucking hawk. That way, the minute he does something (more) inappropriate, especially if it's around kids, I can report him without it appearing like I've been waiting for him to trip up. I unfortunately had a case in a past job where I had to report mistreatment of children (nothing troony) and the management tripped all over themselves to cover it up. So if/when something happens with this guy, I'm going to make my complaint water-tight.

My dear, you're part of the problem and when things get bad for you, you have yourself to blame. If some crazy asshole pulls that shit on me he's done for.
