Twitter follows in the footsteps of Reddit banning the word groomer. Just use another word to mean "groomer" what can they do about it? They can't ban every word?

'Ok groomer' is the figurehead catchphrase for a grassroots campaign that has put the spotlight on gender ideology and exposed the damage it's doing to kids and society as a whole. So of course they're going to ban it; it was detracting from their movement and making it harder to indoctrinate children.

And since there's no reasonable argument nor defensible position for their ideology, their only option is to shut down any and all scrutiny. Hence the 'hate speech' label, which for the moment is just a formality needed to proceed to the banning phase. Though I expect sometime soon they will dispense with that formality and come up with a way to justify ad-hoc bans.

Substitute "LGBT-P".

I don't believe TPTB ever truly supported the L, or G, or B.

They clearly support the T.

I suspect the Paedo "P" was their end game.
That's where the big money is in human trafficking.

The paedo group quietly financed the rest of it, as the thin edge of the wedge.

The other groups accepted financial/political support from wherever they found it, which is understandable.

The paedos know how to keep a low profile, but they're finally coming out of the shadows, and aggressively suppressing public opposition.

Hence the censorship.

Censorship is a ugly tool. It's heavy handed, and it's obvious who's behind it to those who are censored.

You can be certain you're over the target when they come for you, because the truth is forbidden (censorship, etc.).

They wanted to add the "P" to the LGBT for a long time.

Getting then to censor the "P" will work against their normalization plan.

Maybe add the P like: "LGBT P"

Put some distance between the rest of the group.

Ts aren't Ps. Some are, but not most.
The Ps hide behind other groups, so this could backfire.

Ps, are Ps. It's indefensible.
Nobody who isn't already P will support them, unless they can hide behind other groups.

This is why it's important to be clear with our use of language.

It's also the reason that the opposing groups are intentionally confusing the language.

Say everyone used "kroomer" instead okay that resembles groomer so they may ban you for it too. What if everyone used another code word to mean groomer and most people realise it really means "groomer" are they going to now ban code words because everybody knows it's a code word for groomer? If they ban the code word, make a different variation of it. They can't ban every word it would make Twitter unusable.

We should call them what they are using code words in a way that most people can put into context and understand. They should know that they are being called groomers, because that's what they are. Don't let them think they can get away with it by banning the word "groomer"

If they ban words that are used commonly because people use them as code words to mean "groomer" they would be shooting themselves in the foot. Say people now call them "burgers" and it's become so common that everyone knows that it means. They're not going to ban the word burgers. People tweet about burgers, advertisers use that as keywords. It would cripple marketing on Twitter to ban that word.

These are the people who sincerely, unironically banned the OK symbol as racist, even while KNOWING it was 4chan making up a lie that it was racist, and knowingly said "well, we know it's 4chan baiting us...but what if they're NOT?" over it. They've already tried to ban milk as racist, sincerely and unironically.

Burgers nothing, you could claim the word "the" stands for "total heterosexuals' eternity" and these people would sincerely, unironically tell Twitter to ban the word "the".

Nope, you assume they are true believers. They're not. They're never going to ban commonly used words. Advertisers will move to competing platforms. Banning of milk etc are just fake news with deliberately sensational headlines for clicks.

You assume that these people are rational. They're not.

Assuming that there's 100 people in social media:

1 is outright, openly hateful. They are the bigot that you fear. These people will not be reached, hell, they'd gloat it'd hate them and use it more.

49 are somewhere on the other side. They can be reached by the hateful person if you're enough of an asshole to them....but can be reached by love as well by the good people.

That's 50 people in the side of the woke.

10 of the people on their side will turn against the left entirely if you're enough of an asshole to them.

35 of the people left are fully left, and will fall in line to someone who's more progressive than they are.

4 people are woke true believers. They truly want equality and will fight the good fight, no matter what it is. They're also not insane.

1 person is "WOKE". They are loud. They are whiny. They have a Harry Potter fetish so they truly believe they are the hero who's going to destroy the Nazis. They are spoiled enough and entitled enough that they truly believe what is good for THEM is good for their GROUP- and because they have a Harry Potter fetish, they truly believe fighting for what is good for them will stop the Nazis. They are terminally online, so they will absolutely fight for whatever windmill they tilt at 24/7, and truly believe it's fighting for their group on par with marching on Washington, and truly believe in 50 years, this will be the civil rights battle that will make them go down in history- and they WILL FIGHT UNTIL THEY GET THEIR WAY, even if it's just to shut them up.

But the worst part? Those other 4 true believers who are fighting for equality will fight to give this person their way if they're loud enough and whine for long enough...and when that happens, those other 35 people are mindless, easily confused sheep and will assume "well, we want to be good people, this is what the true believers say is good- we should fight for it too...and hell, they might even convince the people on the fringe of the left or even the right's people who can be convinced.

Yeah we can still call them phrases like that. What can they do? Are they going to ban everything that they suspect means groomer? There are many different ways to tell them they are groomers, subtle and obvious. Phrases, anagrams like Gemoror, remoorg, regroom.... They can't ban them all, they would only look ridiculous if they did which is still a win.
