by way of HRT

They seems can't realize that estrogens have nothing to do with that, and trans people are not taking progesterones (as they have no effect on male body). As periods starting when progesterone hormonal level is dropping, but it is always on lowest for transwomen, so it can't drop even if they tried. And that they do not have needed organs for that, even if they transfered uterus from real woman.

Unfortunately they truly believe giving birth is right on the horizon for them. I have the SS to prove it. Seriously can not believe some of the shit they spew.

Its fucking bizarre. Seen that kind of thing too... they really think surgeons can just slap a womb in there and they'll be good to go.

A Human With Vagina. My new gender identity. This stuff is so insulting! Yet to complain about it turns me into the monster.

I want to be "person with prostate", but they are not allowing me and still calling me a man, when I am in discussions with them. What a hypocrits!

I'm a woman with a penis.

It sits on my desk. In a jar of formaldehyde. XD

Shouldn’t it be uterus though? A vagina alone wouldn’t cause the lining to shed.

Sorry but your stupid side affects from pumpinng estrogen into you manly man body is not the same as my body deciding to punish me for not getting pregnant. These people need to go punch themselves in the balls.

I'm so tired of journos and sociologists LARPing as evolutionary biologists, developmental neurologists, and endocrinologists. Apparently nobody in corporate marketing learned ANYTHING from Gillette's woke implosion.

Whenever menstrual products/companies do "gender expansive" marketing, their target is TIFs, not TIMs.

[–][deleted] 11 insightful - 2 fun11 insightful - 1 fun12 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

True, but she did mention that TIMs get period symptoms. So they were put into a conversation in which they don't belong.

[–]MezozoicGay 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Hm, maybe they just want sell more products and just lying to get those self-hypnosed TiMs to buy things they don't need?

This is an important point, I see people laugh at radfems all the time for "making everything about trans women because they don't know trans men exist" or whatever.

That said actual trans men who transitioned like Buck Angel and Kalvin Garrah have pretty much all come out and said they don't want to be associated with menstruating because... wait for it... it reminds them they're biologically female. Which triggers gender dysphoria.

This crap is really pandering to boring teenage girls with affluenza who call themselves "non binary" because they "don't identify with womanhood [read: sexist gender roles]". And to virtue signallers in general.

Just when I was considering buying Honey Pot over Always pads. Can anyone suggest another brand of pads by a company that respects us? I'm running out of options.

[–]worried19 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

FYI, Always said they were going to remove the women's symbol from their packaging, but I just stocked up on more pads a few months ago and it's still there.

[–][deleted] 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Always is actually using the words women and girls when talking about periods despite the issue back in December.

[–][deleted] 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I'm still going through my Always stash and was also going to replace them with Honey Pot after I run out, but now I see I may have to find other options.

I don't know if you live in the Midwest, a store called Meijer has their version of always pads. Meijer brand pads have drastically improved over the years and are a cheaper alternative to always.

Get a disc if you're feeling fancy. Merula cups still use female language.

Unpopular opinion maybe, but I wasn't a fan of the Honeypot wash.

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Here's a feminine wash alternative that is apparently very good.

ETA: Another alternative https://shop.sweetspotlabs.com/

Thanks for the cup recommendation. I've thought of switching to cups for a long time and I am probably going to make the plunge.

I LOVE Sweetspot Vanilla Blossom. It's really gentle and smells amazing. Thank you for the links.

The Lumma discs are awesome and have a ton of benefits andgood capacity. Better than the disposable versions by a longshot too. https://www.lummacups.com

I did a lot of research into this last week, and there aren't a lot of options left. Stayfree seems okay. They don't have much of a social media presence but I haven't seen anything trans related from them. U by Kotex also seems okay so far. They use the term women/girl and she/her. I haven't seen any trans posts from them. The brand L. at Target use to say "by women for women" but has recently changed, just an fyi because I was excited when i first saw their products.

[–]Shinjin_Nana 12 insightful - 1 fun12 insightful - 0 fun13 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Like I've said before... if there is blood coming out of your rotting, pubic hair filled man-hole, or your dick, you need a doctor, not pads or validation. If a man is bleeding as if he has menses.... something is wrong.

[–]Shesstealthy 11 insightful - 1 fun11 insightful - 0 fun12 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Ugh this frustrates me so.much. TIMs say they get PMS-like side effects from their meds and I believe them. However a period is THE BLEEDING. I've seen wokegirls trying to explain that it's wrong to define something by its waste product like digestion is not defined by poo - but defecation is totally defined by the presence of poo.

We all know what a period is. It's not bloat and aches and the blahs. It is blood coming out of your uterus.

I'm not going to meanly wellactually at them but all females know there is a Very Significant Difference. Period poverty isn't about insufficient funds for good chocolate.

They're a menstrual cup company right? Where do they propose "women with penises" should insert a menstrual cup, and what do they expect is going to go inside said cup?

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

They have a whole line of feminine products, including pads, tampons, feminine washes and panty sprays. From what I heard the products are actually good, which is a shame that the owner decided to cater to a delusional minority.

[–]PotatoPeddler 7 insightful - 3 fun7 insightful - 2 fun8 insightful - 3 fun -  (1 child)

I know their picture is meant to look eyecatching in some way, but it really annoys me when they repeat a sentence over and over. We read it the first time -- we are not idiots in need of help. This reminds me of the thing on twitter where they'd write [Idiotic statement] :clapping hands emoji: [idiotic statement] : clapping hands emoji: * 25. It was obnoxious and I hope I never have to see anything like it again.

This way of sending a message is infantile and rude to the reader, revealing how little respect they have for their customer base, of course doubly so given the content of the message.

And what is gender (in English) anyway? Maybe periods are GeNdEr neutral, but it certainly is not sex neutral.

[–]joedude 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

it's called speaking down, and they do it because they think they know the truth of the world.

[–]joedude 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

all should have access to the things that promote a healthy cycle.

the non-existent cycle?

Also noticed this fun double-speak, -have my cake and eat it too- on their main twitter bio.

feminine care system

mhm mhm

for humans with vaginas.

right, so is it feminine, or is it for neutral humans?

I’ve posted about this brand on here before. It’s even worse than I remember because I didn’t see them claiming that men have period-like symptoms from taking estrogen, which is bullshit and trivializing of women’s issues. I think they’re new or new-ish and this is their angle into the market. Let’s show these asshats how badly they misjudged the market and that this is what happens when they think Twitter accurately represents public discourse.

Lol, indigestion from your breakfast burrito is not a period, dudes in dresses!
