I take a lot of surveys for side cash (especially around the holidays) and Im seeing it more and more. Almost all of them have female, male, and other but too many are going even more in depth. Some have the typical with transgender added as an option and for other: write in. I always chuckle at that though because you know they just pick whatever they want and not the transgender option. So many important surveys probably really skewed on demograph. Some just leave gender as a write in and I always make sure to put female instead of woman.

Its 32 for this year btw I think last year was 28. Murder is always terrible and awful but how many women are killed in a year due to domestic violence alone? Oh its bad whats happening to all these confused teens and preteens. I went down a really deep rabbit hole recently and these kids are absolutely self destructing their life including their families. If any opposition is met in their "coming out" which most seem to decide to do via text or a letter they usually turn to transdiy or runaway. Ive seen countless posts for gofundmes and encouragement to "find a way to be your true self" from adults within the communities. There is no longer any voices of reason left on reddit in this regard so these kids are being told how to find ways around invalidating family members or many encourage threats of self harm as a way to get parents to bend to HRT. This is unprecedented times and weve gone from generally non permanent modes of self expression in the younger generation like scene kids, goth, etc to HRT.

It took me awhile to get into the Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson. I started reading it and put book one down about halfway but finally picked it back up. I really did like the world building and nuances of all the different characters. It surprised me a lot of times and in fantasy that can be hard as fantasy troupes can be a bit repetitive.
