Gentleman Jack, Batwoman, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power (animated), Killing Eve, Legend of Korra (animated) are the ones I liked the most. Motherland: Fort Salem is also ok. Atypical, and Harley Quinn (she ends up with Poison Ivy) are quite cute too.

Movie: Portrait of a Lady on Fire.

Also, a book that's really good is The Midnight Lie.

Which is usually supported how? By differences in outcome, such as the wage gap myth that just won't die. Do you see what I am saying? It's the same playbook. Evidence of inequality is not evidence of discrimination. You need to show the actual discrimination, not reason backwards. I keep hearing how I bring up old arguments, but I honestly do not know how to respond when I am confronted with a cluelessness about statistics that is several years behind.

Are you really asking that question? In my European country women have been allowed to vote for around a hundred years. There, by all means, exist some people still alive who grew up in a society in which women were not considered the equal of men. Then, these people had children of their own and instilled these beliefs into them. Thus, you have old people complaining about female politicians and how they can't lead, and you have high schools teachers who discourage girls from hard sciences because "it's not for them". I even know one university professor who said sexist jokes in his class and then he hit on his female students. This creates a toxic environment for women studying his class. In the UK Cambridge allowed women to pursue degrees there in 1947. That's 73 years ago. Currently the social discrimination women face is not a completely barred entry, like how it was years ago, but it's a more subtle discrimination. It's things like customers prefering to talk to a male colleague, because they think he would be more competent; bosses making advances towards a young woman and promoting a male colleague who is less competent instead of her; having no "role models" in the workplace because there is no woman in an executive position; being fired/placed on leave when complaining to HR about an incident as to not disturb office atmosphere (the HR's role is to protect the company first and foremost). In the US in tech the biggest problem is not the "pipeline" (that is, how many women study tech at university and pursue a career in this field), but the retention of women. Some of them enter the field, but then leave it for other fields because of the culture in it. There are many examples on r/girlsgonewired, from little things like Notepad++ having sexist jokes in its source code to actual discrimination.

Then there are the expectations we place on women, how in some instances we judge them harsher than we judge men. There is porn and how some men always sexualise women and treat them like a walking piece of meat. There is sexual harassement on the street, catcalling and how women always have to be on their guard even on a jog.

If you think I am exagerrating you can ask your own female friends if they have any examples of ever being discriminated against because they were women.

Go and fight a war then. Go and get rid of the Selective Service Act.

Not everyone is American. And what does fighting a war has to do with anything? There are women in the army. Many of them face sexual harassement from their peers, and women that are in the army are more likely to be sexually assaulted than other women.

Explain how trans-women competing in women's sports is unfair but men doing better in some areas is evidence for discrimination.

Because there are differences between the body, the body mass and muscles of a man and the body of a woman. But there isn't a difference between the brain of a man and the brain of a woman (if you disagree, I want actual evidence). No one would object to transwomen competing in a women's chess competition because the transwomen would have an advantage over women. If they would object, they would do so for other reasons.

This is about ideological conformity and the reason why you need to enforce it, even here, on a free speech platform, is because your arguments -- they're shit.

Some people might be banned because arguing the same thing with a hundred people derails the conversation. If someone comes here and screams "Lesbians should suck a girldick!!" or "Women should stay in the kitchen and pop out babies like the good subhumans they are" of course you don't have what to discuss with such a person and any attempt at conversation is futile. You might have noticed even you weren't banned, so I don't see why you felt the need to victimise yourself from the beginning about the flight of being banned and then tell us to go fuck ourselves.

If the arguments are shit, it should be easy for you to disprove them, no? Do so instead of saying "you have no arguments" and just ranting.

biology textbooks nearby, or that might annoy you, too. How so? Expand your ideas.

you cannot "socially construct" men into being stronger than women,

Men on average are physically stronger than women. That's it.

I asked that before and when I do: 1)they simply ignore the question Or 2) they say something like "Being a woman is a complicate thing. It's not something you can define in a few words. It's something complex, just like being a German is a complex thing. When are you German: when you were born in Germany? But what if you have German parents, yet no German citizenship?" to dodge the question

I can't believe r/gendercritical was banned. I was so shocked when I looked at the list of subreddits banned and r/gendercritical was one of them. It was such a great community of strong, level-headed women and I really liked being part of it. Now all the work that has been put in it has been lost. I'm leaving Reddit and I joined Saidit just in order to keep up with gendercritical.
