Just one single abattoir can slaughter 2000 cows every day and they are doing it in a humane fashion. A major industrial power like Nazi Germany would have no problem at all with killing 2000 frightened, confused, unarmed civilians in a day. That's 730,000 in year, nearly 1.5 million in two years, in a single camp. The Nazis had six dedicated extermination camps.

Denialists think that murdering six million people is implausibly high. I think it is a miracle that it was only six million. If the Nazis weren't fighting a war at the same time it could have been sixty million, easy peasy.

(Fact: most of the six million, plus another eleven million non-Jews killed by the Nazis, were not gassed in the extermination camps, but shot, starved, worked to death, beaten to death, hanged or otherwise killed.)

There are a lot of reasons to doubt the holocaust story. What you are confused by is the argument that it would be impossible for the Nazis to cremate 6 million bodies with the furnaces they had. This is a fact. Those furnaces were sized and used to burn lice infected blankets and clothing.

The reason the bodies need to be cremated for the holocaust story to be true is because there are no remains of the 6 million jews and millions of other prisoners who were supposedly killed. There have been several attempts to find the evidence with ground penetrating radar and excavations. The results show that the total amount of dead was between 200 and 300 thousand.

What you claim "is a fact" isn't.

  • There have been many mass burial pits found, despite the efforts of the Germans to hide them. For instance, some pits contain tons of ash, while others contain skeletons. It is 100% a lie to say that no remains have been found.
  • Many more tens of thousands were killed in pogroms and mass slaughters in cities, not in the camps, and the bodies just buried as normal in regular cemeteries.
  • You are right that the crematoria at the extermination camps couldn't keep up with the demand to burn all the corpses. That's why the Germans shifted to open-air burning pits that could handle many more bodies at a time.
  • Hundreds of acres of land have had the soil chemistry permanently changed by the sheer amount of ash and burnt bone. 80 years later you can stick your hand in the ground and come out with tiny fragments of burned bone. You can walk along the fields and see with your own eyes the change in soil between places where the ash was spread and the natural soil of the region.
  • Many of the victims of the Germans died of starvation and disease after the camps were liberated. People don't magically get well the instant the German guards surrender. Nor did their bodies just magically disappear.

Around two million were killed in the extermination camps, and most of them had their bodies cremated. Very few bodies or even whole bones can be found, but there are hundreds of acres of land with tonnes of ash and bone fragments. You call it a lie, but you can travel there and stick your hand in the soil yourself.

Across eastern Europe, mobile killing squads rounded up people from towns and villages, shot them, and buried them in mass graves. Many of those were later burned, but not all, for example:

During the death marches late in the war, sick prisoners who could not continue were shot where they fell, either buried in a shallow grave or left for the wild animals. Some of these graves have been found, but they are unmarked and out in the countryside and hard to find.

And of course, after liberation, the concentration camp prisoners did not instantly recover. At least 30,000 died in the first few weeks, under the noses of the Allied doctors.

Open air burning pits are extremely efficient if you build them correctly, and the Germans had no shortage of clever engineers who worked out very quickly how to burn the corpses. The melted fat was collected in channels, and Jewish prisoners were forced to collect it and pour it over the bodies placed in layers. The Germans found that by alternating layers of fat and skinny (or even emaciated) bodies, they could generate enough heat to reduce the entire body to ash with just a small amount of fuel needed to start the process going.

There is a huge amount of potential heat stored in human flesh if you can dry it out enough to ignite it:

There were no entire skeletons because, just like in a crematorium, the bones are burned and can be easily pounded into ash and small fragments. Have you never thrown a bone into a bonfire?

The numbers could be in the millions, according to several estimates, but it is very informative that questioning the 6 million number as too high is itself "holocaust denial" and "antisemitic", whereas it's merely part of the research on the logistics of the murders.

Why would a country fighting a war on so many fronts commit to using so much fuel for this burning you speak of. What fuel did they use? Coal ? wood? , diesel, gasoline, kerosene? It just doesn't make sense to prioritize the use of fuel for burning Jews to be higher than that of fueling planes, tanks, cars, trucks etc. especially since they were fighting Russia, their supply lines were stretched incredibly thin. Its inconceivable to me that the Germans would sideline fuel away from the war effort for this.

Most of the people murdered in the extermination camps, and then burned, were not "concentration camp inmates". They were arrested, held for only a few days at most, put on a train to the camp, where they were unloaded and gassed within a few hours. They would be hungry and a bit dehydrated from the train journey (they were not given food or water) but they still had normal levels of fat for a healthy person in the 1940s.

Its not just the fat that provided heat, protein does too. Almost everything aside from water and bone will generate heat on combustion in the human body. The average human body contains 125000 calories, which is almost double what you need to completely boil 30 kg of water. With just a bit of fuel needed to to prime the pump, so to speak, the process is completely self-sustaining. One normal healthy body contains enough fuel energy to completely burn itself to ash, plus enough left over to ignite one or two more bodies. Even emaciated bodies contain enough fuel to burn themselves to ash, and they're easier to ignite because they don't have as much water.

Human corpses are hard to ignite, but once you manage it, they burn like the blazes.

Apparently one batch of killing Jews in a gas chamber with capacity between 500 and 2,000 took 1.5 hours, mostly because of the delay in emptying the chamber. I wonder what the actual cost was per victim to the Nazis and how relatively efficient it was compared to other methods. I was told that bullets were too expensive, but I don't think it's that. The biggest cost probably was to guard the ones still alive.

If I knew the price the Nazis paid, I could compare it to other approaches. If money was less of an issue, I think there are plenty of methods with higher throughput (even back then).

A modern genocide implementation would probably be able to kill orders of magnitude more per square meter per hour.
