Btw the article lacks of context. I said previously that the right is scared because the EU could interfere with the elections. We are waiting for 200 billions and they will surely try to use the money as leverage to increase the left consensus. This pledge of allegiance is intended to reassure the people that they are going to get the cash, basically. About the NATO, Meloni is trying to use this war to justify an increased military spending aimed towards a bigger role of Italy in the Mediterranean. I'm not making up that stuff, she explicitly said that a month ago during the Milanese convection. Obviously still, there won't be anything major coming up - except for the nigger problem, where they want to put up a militarized blockade on the sea, and the gender problem, where they want to provide (mostly economical) support for traditional family and some hardcore stuff.

What the article is not saying, but is also very important, is that not only the right is going to win, but thanks to some ridiculous stuff the left did in the last weeks, the right is also projected to get 90% of the uninominal electoral colleges, which would translate in a parliamentarian majority able to change the constitution without a referendum. So they are trying to do their best to avoid foreign interference.

Given sufficient boldness and courage, that sounds like it could be interesting.

They want to change the constitution in order to make the presidential election direct, basically like France. The rationale behind is that the left was unable to win the popular vote in the last 30 years and they only get to the government trought last minute coalitions or with unelected technical governments, so they think this is going to beneficial for the right. It's a kinda smart move but nothing particularly revolutionary by itself. The left however is absolutely scared because, well, they were unable to win the popular vote in the last 30 years and it doesn't seem like they will be able to do so in the near future.

That's the only change they are interested in?

Who knows? They are very quiet right now. But honestly I don't think they are going to actually win that hard, so it's just talking.
