I don't regularly fast but I have and do fast whenever I feel like it basically. When I'm dropping weight I'll fast one or 2 days per week which I find way easier than eating restricted calories. I fast on Codreanu's birthday too to honour him.

I often do keto + OMAD (one meal a day) and occasionally do a three day fast for the autophagy benefits among other things

look up doctor berg on youtube, guys. he's one of the few western doctors to trust

I'm not on the right but I do fast. It's not a miracle life changer but caloric restriction prolongs life in mammals. Diets work too.

You have to be careful fasting too long, because of refeeding syndrome and just general safety if you're out and about driving a car, etc without any nutrient intake, it can make you dizzy and foggy.

Fasts hurt for a day or two and then your stomach gets used to it. Starving to death is likely not all that painful. I'd personally recommend fasting longer than the adaptation period, just to go through it less.

If you're going 3-7 days try the snake juice.

Oh wow, 3-7 days? I thought everyone capped out at 2 days of pain like me.

I can't understand how someone could subject themselves to the hardest part of a fast over and over again.

Exactly... they must be masochists. Rolling 48s and ADF is new to me, I was thinking about IF, I always thought that was unnecessary suffering.

Fasting is also an ancient technique of killing parasites.

There's lots of recent interest in anti-parasite techniques.

I suspect people are walking up, and headed down the path of wisdom.

Yes I regularly do 3-7 day water fasts once every other month. Day to day I intermittent fast with one meal a day

I also do OMAD but haven't done anything longer then 3 days fasting yet. I'm going to try a 3-5 day this winter.

Not sure if you've heard about it but the snake juice has helped me with OMAD.

    Do you exercise while fasted?

Yes I try to fast a little every day, sometimes for most of the day. Has nothing to do with political leaning or ideology. Health science says it's good for you, lots of benefits, so I try to do it. Simple as that.

Years ago I met an old guy, 60 something, he looked very fit and healthy, I asked him what he did he just said he only ate every other day.

What does this have to do with "alt right"? Nothing.

Don't see how one would not lose muscle mass doing that.

You do lose a little muscle mass but it's a lot smaller then previously thought. It also boosts test in the follow up.

About every 3 months, do a 3-4 day fast.

    [–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Yes, but I don't have schedule or anything, I just have periods where I can't be bothered to eat anything.
