This is one of the weirdest deaths I've heard of. The only thing I can think of is that he was hit by something, then someone or a bunch of people gently carried him into his hotel room and tucked him into bed so he could die. Or he fell several stories/got hit by a car, landed on his head, yet still somehow managed to crawl back to his hotel room, get into bed, and fall asleep. It really doesn't make any sense.

I love their first few films, especially The Beast With a Billion Backs or whatever. Some of those stories were pure sci-fi. The episode where Leela and Fry get stuck in a frozen time scenario could easily have been the series finale. The latter seasons were garbage, though. Given the state of things, I really, really doubt any new Futurama is going to be good. There's just too much room for bullshit to seep in, and that's assuming they don't continue with the lazy, uncreative storylines.

No they can't.

1) Unlike these frogs, women can't develop testes and men can't develop ovaries, no matter how many treatments and operations they undergo.

2) These frogs developed hermaphroditic (both genders) characteristics as a result of being exposed to a harmful poison, they didn't change from one gender into another willy nilly. This is a deformity, not a treatment, and likely led to many health issues and untimely deaths for the poor frogs. It's not a good thing.

And 3) humans are not frogs. Different species, entirely different biology.

Please, for the love of god, learn some science, specifically about biology.

Do absolute monarchies even exist these days? And I believe Thailand's monarchy was for show until the recent guy, who started imposing his will and syphoning money from the government, money which belongs to his family, granted, in much the same way the British royals own a great deal of property the British government uses under the agreement that they'll be taken care of with few to no obligations so long as they don't start attempting to impose their will upon legislation. I believe the reason for the outrage around the Thai prince is because 1) he's broken an unspoken rule and begun imposing his will on the government and 2) he dresses like a cheap hooker and behaves in an otherwise unbecoming manner for someone who is supposed to be "divinely ordained." He apparently held a ceremony some years ago where one of his wives or girlfriends was made to be topless throughout, which didn't go over well with the populace. I haven't looked into this stuff in detail, honestly. It all sounds quite wacky.

I don't disagree with you about how Democracy is run currently, especially in the US, but, again compared to just about every other system of governance we have, it's an improvement. Unfortunately the only way to truly be above any of this stuff is and likely always will be to be wealthy. Otherwise, you're just a servant subject to the whims of those above you. Democracy and Capitalism at least open that door to people who otherwise never would have had that opportunity.

Trade between nations has been going on for thousands of years, not just several hundred. Civilization was partially founded on trade. Yet it's only within the last 200 years or so, since the rise of Democracy in the West, and particularly in America, that we've seen an explosion in human progress.

Your monarchy theory is interesting. You're familiar with Thailand being a monarchy and how that's going for them at the moment, yes? How their (unelected) prince is widely despised by many citizens yet still remains in power due to a fine mix of tradition, loyalty, and propaganda as he continues to funnel billions from his country's coffers to himself and his cohorts?

In case you're wondering what he looks like, here are a few pictures:

At least with Democracy, you can (usually) get rid of crappy leaders every four years and replace them with people who may not be as crappy. Not so much with a leader who claims the divine right to rule for as long as he and his family wishes.

[–]Flicksener 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Yeah I don't know. I think it was sabotage. Baldwin was told the gun he was given was "cold," that is, it didn't have any live rounds in it. He's not responsible. He wasn't even playing with it apparently, he was simply pulling it out of its holster for a scene they were filming when it went off. If accounts are to be believed, it's either gross crew incompetence, like to a degree that will likely get someone thrown into jail, or it's deliberate sabotage.

Another thing I'm wondering is, the woman he killed was the head of the union on set or whatever; was she a "diversity" hire? DPs don't tend to be women. Is it possible she was hired because she was a woman first, and an experienced crew member second, thus her lack of experience leading the union crew, thus leading to the union crew walkout, thus resulting in this incident? I wonder, I wonder.

[–]Flicksener 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

This was possibly intentional sabotage from one of the crew, or several crew members. It seems this was a troubled shoot and many of the crew were pissed at the higher ups for one reason or another, and film crews are notorious for doing stuff like this when they feel they've been mistreated. It's very possible a crew member intentionally put live rounds in these weapons with the hope something bad would happen, which it did, which would make this a crime, maybe even homicide.

I've been on sets and worked with crew myself in the past and honestly, it wouldn't surprise me. Crew work isn't glamorous, it's essentially glorified blue collar work; long hours, low pay (unless you're union), and often questionable treatment. You don't have to be educated or even a decent human being to get a job on a production; sometimes, it helps to be neither. You just need to know the right people. And many who work these jobs are less than savory types: people with criminal records, or who come from "rough" backgrounds.

It's always struck me as odd that so many wealthy and famous people working productions often depend on the labor of individuals who could easily have been released from prison for violent offenses only a few weeks prior to the job, or who otherwise come from backgrounds you'd likely never encounter in a more "corporate" type of environment. Well, this is what happens when the two mingle. Frankly, I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often. It likely does, we just never hear about it unless it involves a death.

Eugenics isn't a bad thing when it comes to removing serious impairments and disabilities from the gene pool. If I'd been born with a serious impairment or illness, either immediately or manifesting when I got older, I would rather my parents not have had me, and I certainly wouldn't reproduce knowing my children would likely have the same issue.

As it stands, I was born with a minor disability and it's been a huge pain in the ass my whole life. Nothing serious, and I'm almost normal, but not quite, and given how much suffering it has caused me and that I'll never, ever be like most others, I can't even imagine what someone with a serious disability must go through each and every day.

Along those lines, seriously disabled or otherwise highly impaired fetuses should be aborted. That's no kind of life.

He's funny at times and I agree with some of his points, but he's definitely a race baiter. He's also arrogant and thinks way too highly of himself (he's good, but certainly not as great as he seems to think he is), and his logic is not always sound.

He had a video about a year or two ago that went slightly viral where he explained why he wanted the rights to Chappelle's Show back, and it was an incredibly whiny, self-pitying, self-serving justification for what essentially amounted to his reneging on a fair contract he made with Comedy Central back in the early 2000s, forcing the network's hand by painting them publicly as being in the wrong for giving him, a then no-name up and coming comedian, the opportunity of a lifetime. They gave in, of course, as far as I know.

But CC did nothing wrong; they offered him a deal for the rights to the show, he took it, they paid him. That's how it works. After the show became a huge hit, they offered him another deal, paid him almost 50 million dollars, and he took it. When he didn't deliver (he had a breakdown or whatever during season 3), instead of suing his ass or forcing his hand, they graciously offered to cancel the deal if he returned the money, which I believe he did. They weren't even pricks about it, as far as I know. Didn't shame him in the media or anything. Very, very generous of them.

He would be nothing without Comedy Central. He sold the rights to his show to them in exchange for vast fame and fortune. Them's the breaks, and as far as breaks go, them's pretty good.

The story he told during that special to serve as a comparison to this "ordeal" also didn't fit; he told of a time he was conned out of money by street hustlers and was almost beat up for it after he spoke up, being warned to "never get between a man and how he makes his living." This is supposed to be some great moral lesson for us, the audience, to take in, but considering that what these men were doing was stealing, and they had just stolen from him, his speaking up against them wasn't "wrong," it was right, it's the thieves that were wrong, regardless of what they were doing to make their living. He presented it as though he was the thieves in this metaphorical scenario and Comedy Central the ones trying to get in between him and how he makes his living.

It's not the greatest of metaphors, comparing yourself with thieves in order to try to make the point that you were the one stolen from, and doesn't work. Wonky logic. Maybe he knew this and was hoping no one would notice.

I've had people try to convince me that I should join other white people and rally against non-whites on here. I didn't scream or yell or cry or complain about it, I simply debated them for a few posts and poked and prodded their thinking, and when I found the conversation had reached its logical end, I simply stopped responding and moved on with my life. I don't agree with what they had to say and found many of their points abhorrent, illogical, and dumb, but it's not my place to demand they be banned or silenced or banished from the internet for all time. Holy crap, hell yes. There isn't a single major site that doesn't have a non-white person (usually black) in its advertising front and center these days. I could understand the occasional non-white here and there, but literally 95% of major service or product websites, everywhere from Spectrum to Yahoo to Blue Apron, not to mention physical retail stores like Walmart and Target, are so obviously pandering and trying as hard as possible to be "diverse" that they've swung hilariously in an absurd direction, to the point where if you were an alien trying to assess the ethnic makeup of the United States based on this crap alone, you'd think it were majority black.

Even Youtube channels that feature someone talking about a subject to a related series of illustrations like TED usually have black people front and center, even when it's not really appropriate, like a video they had on ancient Greece some months ago where the artist decided to depict everyone as black for some reason. Insults are a creative field. It doesn't have to be funny. And always respond in kind. If a respectful person makes an intelligent point that you disagree with, try to respond intelligently. If they insult you or others in some way or accuse you of being "-phobic" or "-cist," you would be doing a great disservice to both yourself and the person you're speaking to by responding in any other way but with hostility.

You really think speaking reason to an unreasonable person is going to make them see the light? You think educating someone who doesn't want to be educated is going to make one lick of difference in how they think or see the world? No, it won't. You're not dealing with reasonable people, so don't waste your time. Don't respect people that don't show you respect to begin with, and don't try to argue intelligently with people who are not intelligent. There's always a line in every interaction, and once a person has crossed it, all bets are off.

Don't engage in bad faith arguments with bad faith characters. Tell them to fuck off and move on with your life. If you want to have fun with it, be creative with how you tell them to fuck off, but make sure the point is made and don't give them one ounce more.

I wouldn't say it was good, I just didn't think it was the worst thing in the world. Some parts of it I liked, and others I thought were terrible and badly written, like the final battle between the sea guy and incest brother, and incest brother and non-lesbian lesbian-looking swordswoman, and incest brother and incest sister, and the stuff with Emilia Clark, which seemed rushed, (it's been a while since I watched the show and have forgotten all the names). I didn't love it, but I found the finale of Lost, Mad Men, and Battlestar to be way, way more disappointing.

Sopranos ended on black because Tony was shot in the head and instantly killed. It was from his perspective, and once he died, he was just gone, thus ending the show on black. It was a bold move that didn't work for some people, but I thought it was brilliant.

Yes, Battlestar started jumping the shark around the 5th episode of the 3rd season, unfortunately. I think Ron Moore, the executive producer, was being pulled in too many directions at the time (he was hired on a bunch of films and was developing a second show), and as a result, the overall story started to suffer. There are some good episodes here and there, but overall, very disappointing. Caprica was decent, but it never achieved the highs of Battlestar and probably never would have had it been allowed to continue.

Deadwood waited too long, unfortunately. The film was good for the first hour, but the second hour just didn't make sense. The characters all were clearly way older than last we saw them, yet the plot tried to continue after the finale of the third season almost like no time passed in between, explaining it away as "oh nothing of interest happened in the town for 10 years." I understand they didn't have much of a choice, but they really could have gone in another direction maybe. But whatever, more Deadwood is better than one, and at least we got some kind of conclusion. Shame the creator is suffering from Alzheimer's. Such brilliantly written dialogue and characters and story.

Well, it's still interesting despite the ending. I didn't mind it. I loved 95% of the show, hell even the finale had its charms. I didn't think it was as bad as people have said. The hour and a half long battle episode against the white walkers in the 7th season, for instance, I thought was one of the best of the series. I don't even mind the kid in the wheelchair getting the throne, even though it very clearly belonged to Jon Snow.

Also, the finale to the Sopranos was brilliant. You really should watch that show. One of the very best ever made. Don't let a few naysayers who "didn't get it" turn you off to it. It's pretty obvious what they were going for in the finale, and it pulled it off pretty brilliantly. Lost, yeah, the ending sucked. Still a decent show, but ultimately amounted to nothing. Same with Battlestar Galactica, if you were a fan of that show. Loved it until the middle of the 3rd season, then it's pretty hit and miss until the finale, which was just a big piece of crap. Mad Men too had a pretty lame finale despite being brilliant from Season 2 onward. But whatever. I still enjoyed the ride.

Breaking Bad is pretty consistent throughout, as is The Shield. Deadwood is also excellent, but some episodes are a bit of a chore to get through since the dialogue is difficult at times and the pacing is slow, and then it just ends without any good resolution. The movie that came out many years later tried to make amends, and does so sort of, but it's too little, too late. Still definitely worth watching.

Rumor has it one of the reasons why what's his face in the chair became king was because the writers were concerned that, had Jon gotten it, which all signs in the story throughout the series suggested he should have, the woke crowd would have been up in arms that a white man beat out a woman (Khaleesi). Instead, they figured giving it to a cripple would make everyone happy, as it so clearly did.

The show didn't start going woke until the writers stopped having JRR's stuff to fall back to. It wasn't super woke, not by today's standards, but that's only because it ended before things got really, really bad culturally.

Several decade plus friendships gone overnight because I dared to question their acceptance of "systemic racism." Fuck them.

I know you don't universally represent all transgendered, nor do you have the power to speak on all of their behalf, but as a member of their community, you and other like minded transgenders (if you know of any) should really, REALLY think about getting together and speaking publicly against the hysteria stemming out of the woke community and the LGBT+ community in general, and the feminists too.

As it stands, they are doing way, WAY more harm to your cause than good, and turning otherwise accepting people like me who didn't give a good god damn what gender you think yourselves or what you do to your bodies into increasingly close-minded folk who are starting to think all the religious gay "slippery slope" arguments of the 90s had a lot of merit to them and that perhaps it was indeed a mistake to be so welcoming and accepting to begin with. Your crazy extremist leftist woke brethren are doing unbelievable damage toward ever achieving any kind of true acceptance, despite what the mainstream media will lead you to believe. You are on a very dangerous path because of these people, and it can turn at any moment. Frankly, I'm surprised it hasn't already.

If you have the means, please speak out against these extremist types and condemn them and their insanity as they rightly should be condemned.

I've known two transgendered people in my life and they were both nuts and suffered from serious mental issues. One of them used to be a somewhat famous Youtube comedian before going trans. Ironically, they would both hit on me almost constantly, which was always a trip. It's never actual women that hit on me, of course, only gays and trannies.

Anecdotal, but it's very clearly a mental illness, and now that these people are supported and accepted rather than given the mental help they need, naturally, many are going to be quite out there and some may actually be quite dangerous, like the Youtube tranny who was often sexually aggressive when inebriated, not just to me, but to females as well. Just an all around mess.

I can't speak to how races other than white were taught to think about themselves since I'm not nor ever have been nor ever likely will be anything but white. I'm sure, like most people in the US, some were taught to think of themselves as individuals and others were taught to see themselves as a collective. America being an individualistic culture, I was raised to see myself as an individual first, and I imagine the majority of people who grew up in this country have as well. In other countries, especially Communist orientated countries like China, they're likely taught to think themselves as part of a collective, hence, the majority likely do so.

Also, thinking of oneself as part of a collective isn't limited to non-whites. Plenty of white Europeans who come here, especially new immigrants, will always associate themselves as being part of their home country first. They will seek out others like them who share similar ancestry and, together, will form small collectives wherever they happen to be. So, it's not a phenomenon unique to non-whites. It's fairly common given human beings evolved to be part of and help support small groups of other, similar looking members, especially when they feel they've been discriminated against, hence the vast Irish and Italian groups that formed in many cities throughout early America when they too were demonized because of their culture.

I think the reason for the racial disharmony of today, proliferation of social media aside, is the rise in world population, specifically the population of non-whites in traditionally white countries such as the US and much of Europe. The more intelligent and rich a culture, the slower its rate of reproduction, and vice versa, hence the decline of white people. Whether or not this is deliberate, I don't know. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. Maybe there's a vast conspiracy by the "elites" to wipe out white people from the earth for some reason (many of them being white themselves - secret sadists perhaps?), or maybe it's just a consequence of cultural success over time. I'm not a scientist or a sociologist so I couldn't tell you. Sure, it's alarming, but it's a problem so far off into the distance (hundreds, if not thousands of years, assuming no major world changes), I'm sure something worse will arise well before then and demand our attention, likely climate or technology related (AI).

"In what way is people banding together based on a common heritage ‘shallow’ & ‘dangerous’?"

If you decide to band together with a group of people strictly because of your shared heritage and nothing else, you deprive yourself of the opportunity to meet, learn from, and work with people of other ethnicities who may be smarter or more knowledgeable or more skilled than you are. It's the difference between a country like the United States, where anyone skilled enough can make it to the top of whatever field they pursue and, thus, contribute positively to the overall culture (and, sometimes, the world) through their contributions, and a place like Afghanistan, where, regardless of your skills or intelligence level, if you don't happen to be the right skin color, worship the right god, or be the correct gender, you'll be lucky to even be allowed to sweep the floors. If you build a culture based strictly on heritage rather than merit, over time, you get the difference between a bustling mega-civilization and a place where a good chunk of your population lives in shacks. The United States is a living example of what happens when you let the cream rise to the top. Or at least, it was.

I'm not against collectivism, I'm just against doing so on strictly racial grounds. If you told me you wanted to collectivize based on skill or intelligence or moral/ethical grounds, I don't think I'd have a problem with it. But to restrict yourself simply by ethnicity, in this day and age, would be cultural suicide. There's plenty of dumb, ignorant white people I would never want to group myself alongside, and plenty of brilliant non-whites I would gladly join with, if push came to shove. And vice versa. Nothing to do with any prevailing narrative, it's just an observable fact of life: if you want to be part of a successful group, whether it be social or professional, in business or global, you should strive to surround yourself with intelligent, skilled individuals you can work well with, regardless of their ethnic backgrounds.

What constitutes as "white" for you, exactly? How many years of European lineage must one have before he's considered truly white? Is it 2000 years? 5000? How many generations back must it go? Would one non-white ancestor thrown into the mix at any point mess things up, or are a few here and there allowed? What is considered pure?

I grew up in the 90s, and I never gave a second thought to race up until a few years ago when the left started hammering its drum. I wasn't taught to "not see race," I simply didn't care about it because it was never emphasized. I never went out of my way to treat someone differently because of their ethnicity, and still don't, despite attempts by the far left and the far right to get me to do so. Both sides are wrong.

I don't care about my ethnicity. I don't categorize myself by whether or not I share a common European ancestry with a set of other individuals. I think this kind of thinking is incredibly shallow and dangerous considering no two individuals are the same even among family members, let alone large swaths of a population. Just because I happen to have European ancestry doesn't mean I'm automatically "part of the team," nor do I wish to be, nor do I owe you or any other person of the European persuasion allegiance "to the team," especially if this team wishes to exclude everyone who doesn't share their same bloodline from working together. I would never, ever want to belong to such a group, nor should you or anyone else. This kind of thinking is no better than the BLM nutjobs who believe all white people are demons. Yuck.

Your "Jews aren't white" argument could be made against literally any other white culture. White people have been mixing with non whites for thousands of years. If Jews aren't considered white because they intermingled with middle easterners millennia ago, neither are most other white cultures. It doesn't really matter how they choose to self identify. They are white. Also, you realize there's no such thing as a "pure white" culture, right? And that eventually, looking back long enough into the past, all cultures have a common ancestry in what was likely Africa? White people didn't magically descend from the sky one day and just start breeding with one another, probably. You look deep enough, and we all likely have some black in our genes.

And if he took power today, he, in all likelihood, would repeal them, yes. In this case, I think it would be a good move.

I should clarify, I am concerned, because I agree with you, there's no way major governments are going to allow this thing to grow unchecked without manipulating or dipping their toes in its waters, if they haven't already. But I'm also hopeful because it looks promising and has already been adopted by a number of countries (or maybe just one?) and major companies, with more to follow.

I should further clarify that I don't have a whole lot invested in it, and have made only about $100 or so from it so far, so even if it does collapse, I won't be losing that much. I invest a very, very small percentage of my portfolio in it every month or so, or whenever there's a great than 10% drop. That way, if things start to turn, I won't lose my shirt.

There were common values in America, and among some, there still are. I grew up in a time in this country's history where skin color/ethnicity was seen as mostly irrelevant. It's what I was taught, and it made sense then and it still makes sense now. I've had friends (and a few lovers) from all manner of backgrounds, and the one common value I've shared with them is a healthy appreciation for knowledge and learning.

In general, people in this country tend to stick with "those of their own kind," but it's not a universal truth and I've never been one to follow it to the letter. Most of my friends have been white, but it wasn't by choice. I've had plenty of non-white friends, and still do. Some of the smartest, most interesting people I've known have been non-whites. I never cared that they didn't look like me or shared my common ancestry, and unless it's forced on me, I never will. As long as they're respectful and kind, I couldn't care less. Hell, if anything, I like being around people from different cultures and backgrounds; it can be quite interesting, and you always learn something new.

That being said, if I'm ever attacked by anyone because of my ethnicity, prior friend or otherwise, I will return in kind. So far, hasn't really happened, though I've had to cut a few people out of my life over the last few years for dipping too deeply into the "woke" pool for my liking on social media. Once people start blanket accusing me and people who look like me of atrocities or demanding things of me be because of my skin color, I tell them where they can stick it.

Also, Jews are white. They successfully mixed with white European ancestry millennia ago. Not sure why they're occasionally considered to be otherwise. Much like Armenians, they are indistinguishable from Europeans and are, thus, white.

Oh I'm taking it seriously, I just don't think it has any legs to stand on. Even if they do succeed and "take over," whatever that means, how long do you think it'll last? A few decades? Maybe a hundred years at most? The cream always rises back to the top, if they don't wipe all that cream off the face of the earth first.

I'd be more concerned about China as Asians are, on average, smarter and more capable than white people at developing stuff and keeping things going and, frankly, order and obedience and tradition and conformity. Unfortunately, they tend to bring that pesky Communism with them wherever they go, which always leads to misery and disaster, hence why they aren't quite as dominant as the West. But China is catching up, and fast, assuming it doesn't collapse in on itself in the next few decades. They also tend to be hierarchical to a fault, and seem more interested in saving face than correcting mistakes. But we'll see how it goes.

I don't disagree with you that there is an anti-white, anti-male, anti-heterosexual movement in the West. It's here, it's obvious, it's growing, and it's definitely alarming. I just don't think it's going to amount to much because, ultimately, you can't have a society without straight white (European) men, at least not like we have today.

Straight white men created and have helped maintain most of what we have today, and you can't remove them from the picture and steal everything they built without it falling apart on the would be thieves. Not only that, but straight white men aren't going to go down without a fight. Some will, but most won't.

Extreme leftist woke dogma is an innately hypocritical, contradictory, suicidal ideology. Believers want to take what isn't theirs thinking they're "equal" to those who built it despite all evidence suggesting otherwise. If they succeed, it'll be short lived, it'll fall apart, and wherever white people end up will become the new mecca, as has always happened throughout history. Assuming they aren't exterminated, that is, which I don't think will happen. Probably.

Wokeism is steeped in Communism, which is inherently ideologically flawed and unsustainable. It can't work, and it won't. Not for long. It doesn't live in reality. It's divisive, it's ignorant, it's self-contradictory, and it doesn't make sense.

So, I'm not too concerned that they'll succeed. It's all just propaganda for now. Painful, irritating propaganda, but propaganda nonetheless.

But the phrase isn't "It's okay to be French" or "It's okay to be British," it's "It's okay to be white," which is a skin color, not an ethnicity, and white people today, being some of the most culturally diverse "breeds" of humans on the planet, could look practically identical yet have no ancestors in common going back thousands of years.

If the people creating these slogans (assuming such people even exist) wanted to be specific about it and target shared history/culture, they should start saying "It's okay to be European," since most Caucasian ancestry is European, I believe.

And you have to understand that most woke BLM types are idiots who need everything spelled out for them. These are some of the same people who don't even believe white culture exists, for crying out loud. Borderline mentally retarded.

Yeah, those were simpler times back then when social media and the like weren't quite as sinister. I never would have signed up for Facebook back in the mid 2000s had I known it would turn into what it is today. Same with every other social media platform I joined back then, and just about everything I posted online publicly under my name. Times have changed.

I mean, I don't have anything against one saying it's okay to be white, especially when faced with hostility claiming otherwise, but I just find the phrase kind of pointless and self-serving, much like "black lives matter."

It doesn't matter what skin color you are. Why is it an issue? It hadn't been an issue since the 80s. If they want to make it an issue again and start attacking white people for the "sin" of being white, then fuck them, it's okay to be white, and they can go to hell. I'd say the same if I were any other "color" and someone were attacking me for it, or if I had a friend who was another color and they were attacking him (or her) for it.

But there's no need to state the obvious unless it's necessary to do so, because, apparently, a small yet vocal minority of hysterical screeching bigots are trying to bring it back, and they're succeeding, and to them I say, it's okay to be white, and you can go fuck yourself. But only if they continue attacking.

Nah. Facts, logic, common sense, and a healthy, contextual understanding of human history is all you need to combat this level of stupidity. No need to link arms with people just because they happen to share the same skin color as you. Better to link up with people who share similar beliefs, morals, and ways of looking at the world.

The moment the girl said, "white people don't have culture," these guys should have told them to fuck off. Biggest pile of shit I've heard in quite some time. All people have culture, especially white people, who are, since we're keeping score now, responsible for the current glorious and highly advanced culture we have today. You can't be a human being on this planet and not belong to some kind of culture. I mean, god damn the level of stupidity.

The bigger disgrace is how these girls were admitted into this college in the first place. Filling a quota, no doubt. I would be embarrassed to be a member of this school's administration. This is a massive black eye to the institution if there ever was one.

God damn it this video makes me angry! I know that's the point, but man, mission accomplished!

But "It's okay to be white" isn't a biological fact. It's subjective. "Only biological women are female" is a fact. It's about as factual from a scientific point of view as something could be.

But I understand what you're saying. Even if it were considered a hate crime, she did nothing wrong, other than deface private property. They'll have an easier time charging her with defacing private property than with a hate crime, frankly.

I went on dozens and dozens of dates through OKCupid pre-2015, and not once was politics ever discussed. Ever. The only thing I ever got crap for by some woman was because I had Ayn Rand listed as one of my favorite authors, which she is, but not because of her politics. Oh, and some girl once started talking to me about how much of a feminist she was, which was an immediate no thank you from me. Other than that, the only thing I cared about was 1) how nice she was and 2) how well we got along and 3) how attracted I was to her.

OkCupid used to be good back in the day. I liked their service and used it for a long time, and since it was free, the only thing that took a hit was my self-esteem every time I went on a date that didn't amount to anything, which happened about 99% of the time. Sucks to hear the site's gone downhill.

I feel like I've lost several IQ points listening to those dumb women hassle those guys, and Christ, for seven minutes? No knowledge of history, no understanding of the phrase "multi-cultural," no sense of decency, no self-awareness, not even a good grasp of irony through their use of racism to hassle and kick out two white guys because of the color of their skin. Just stupidity on many, many levels.

Granted, those guys weren't doing themselves any favors with those slogans plastered on their computers and their t-shirts, nor with their inability to push back intellectually to such hollow logic that simply parrots whatever dumb BLM crap they've read or heard about online. Hell, a simple "Get the fuck out of my face, you fat skanks," would have sufficed.

Stuff like this really pisses me off. The fact we haven't had more violent clashes so far is a miracle. These ladies were lucky they were women and the men they hassled seemed relatively spineless; the situation could have gotten ugly real fast had things been just a little bit different.

I don't think there's a good case that can be made against her. Freedom of speech and all that. She's also stating a biological fact, which can't be considered a "hate crime," whatever that means, unless nature and human evolution are also considered hate crimes these days. Wouldn't surprise me.

I wasn't even aware there were any black people in Ireland. I'm sure she deserves it though, and this isn't some kind of meaningless token victory given to her strictly because of her skin color to make the people in charge of such things feel better about themselves and their devotion to "progress."
