Covid is more contagious than the flu. Masking and social distance were in place to slow its spread, not remove it entirely.

https://www.cdc.gov/flu/symptoms/flu-vs-covid19.htm#:~:text=While%20COVID%2D19%20and%20flu,more%20superspreading%20events%20than%20flu.

While COVID-19 and flu viruses are thought to spread in similar ways, COVID-19 is more contagious among certain populations and age groups than flu. Also, COVID-19 has been observed to have more superspreading events than flu. This means the virus that causes COVID-19 can quickly and easily spread to a lot of people and result in continuous spreading among people as time progresses.

You're applying data that is specific ("more contagious among certain populations and age groups") and extrapolating it to the entire population. That is wrong. Please try again.

Why did you leave out the rest of the sentence? That is not the only way Covid spreads.

Edit: For my own personal benefit, I even included another source. Covid particles stay in the air longer, Covid has a longer incubation, and even the fact the flu has more vaccines ready before Covid did.

You love avoiding questions eh? Might be best to just ignore you. You're on thin ice.

Because it wasn't relevant to the argument as it's simply a definition of what it means for a virus to spread more easily. The important question is which populations/age groups this ease of transmission applies to. If there is specific populations that this applies to (which the CDC felt was important enough to make note of it) then it was wrong for you to simply apply that to the entire population in contradiction to your source.

That doesn't matter. I just gave you another source proving Coronavirus is more contagious than the flu in general. I also linked to an article that said the Flu has more vaccines ready whereas Covid ones are still being rolled out worldwide.

K. You're blocked. That's literally not what your source said.

It was you who cropped out my sentence that said this.
