It's getting increasingly difficult as American institutions and even daily life become mired in increasingly destructive and delusional propaganda and ideology, and the left becomes increasingly vindictive and cruel. It's becoming harder to escape it. You either have to pretend some ridiculous or evil clownworld shit your confronted with is perfectly normal or become a target.

I do draw a line though. I wont accept cruel or bullying behavior from the woke left and if I see it occur will stick up for the person being targeted. This caused me a lot of trouble a couple years ago and was one of the great red pilling events in my life. I was more or less a lefty for years, but the modern day left has become a thing of pure evil, and its increasingly difficult to be a person of conscience and remain silent when I've been around one of the truly evil ones. I cant even imagine what it must be like for kids on college campuses nowadays. I dont think I would possess the self discipline or restraint to endure it.

If you're trying to express your political beliefs politically, you are already at a disadvantage. The average person would love to discuss politics with you if you stick to concepts and discuss things without reference to political labels and language. This can be difficult to do if you've mostly absorbed your political views from rhetoric without spending much time to refine them, but if you have a coherent worldview it's not hard to discuss politics in a "nonpartisan" way, so to speak. People are much more open minded and willing to listen if they get the feeling that you are trying to have a conversation with them rather than forcefully persuade them to this or that position. Dialogue also makes what you say a lot more effective in comparison to rhetoric. It's also worth noting that discussing politics is nowhere near as troublesome as you would be led to believe - people are typically willing to listen to anything, so long as you express it calmly and reasonably. Asking others how they feel about this or that aspect of US politics can also be a great way to start, especially if you can tactfully make them feel reassured that you will listen to them honestly and without judgement.

Of course, the average person has little to do with the average psychotic ideologue, who may react with moral indignation to the very idea of discussing something that falls slightly outside the leftist Overton range. In that case it might be worth probing how those people think. If they know lots of leftist terminology, get their political news at Chapocel House or signal a leftist ideologue background in some other way, you are probably better off not bothering with them. Alternatively, if you don't give a shit you can just try to talk politics with them anyway and then downplay the importance of the conversation if they react badly.

Your environment also matters. If you're working at a university or some other progressive, middle class environment, it will be difficult to find people who aren't already extremely opinionated. In any case, it's preferable to remain professional and impartial in most workplace situations. It's difficult to bring up politics in a group discussion without it devolving into a shouting match anyway, so there's not much point in that over a more personal approach.

Leftists will typically tolerate some wrongthink from others that they believe are more left wing than them, so that's possible. You are probably being selective with which elements of your politics you are discussing, though.

Motte and Bailey strategy is useful for probing people. But instead of the "hard to defend" item being complete bullshit, use something that is hypocritical, double standards, etc, e.g. respecting Indigenous rights, use Aboriginals or Aborigines, or whoever, and then apply it to Europe. Get creative with it. This often wakes people up because they just agreed with the logic of something identical right before, then they're forced to re-align or go into cognitive dissonance.

Personally, I prefer not to have my arguments hinge on liberal democratic or leftist framing. It's better to approach things from a personal perspective, if possible.

More tools in the toolbelt. Whatever works.

I think it would be useful to create evidence- and reason-based conversation algorithms like you've described, include FAQs and such.

This is a major problem with me too. My political beliefs are too far out of the norm for me too discuss them freely most of the time. This is disappointing because I am very interested in politics. (And this includes politicized subjects like climate change, nationalism, racialism, etc)

I don't really care how other people think of me, as long as they fuck off and don't mess with me. I'm not super open about my political beliefs, although I impulsively want to be, and especially in school when obvious lies, omissions, and other leftist academia bullshit comes up I want to speak up and rant about how retarded and unrealistic the fairy tales they push on us are (They say God is some kind of imaginary sky man then talk about "60000 gajillion Jewish babies murdered by evil Whitey!").

Despite these facts, for the sake of preserving my initial statement, I try to lay low and stay out of shit. I will occasionally LARP as a cuckservative or tell half-truths (or straight-up lies) about my beliefs to preserve some sense of normalcy and avoid conflict, but it is getting VERY tiresome to hear increasingly autistic bullshit being spewed and increasingly toxic anti-White, anti-Western, and anti-Christian rhetoric thrown around on the daily, perfectly in the open. Not to mention the pushback even against mainstream conservatards/MAGApedes. A girl from my school recently became practically persona-non-grata for supporting Trump and saying BLM was bullshit. (Although, in many ways this is an unintended bonus; She and other like her will undoubtedly be exposed to and hopefully join Dissident circles such as this.)

This is not to mention the pervasiveness of cuckoldry and modern politics today (2016 and 2020 are much the same, with both years getting fucked over by cops shooting a shit-slinging gorilla) which makes keep up this vernier increasingly difficult, because as I get more radical and more fed up with society, society gets worse and worse. I also have to worry about college, a job, and other shit, already made difficult by the constant importation and idolization of non-whites, faggots, and other groups full mostly of trash who will get positions in both for free and with no effort while I bust my ass for even a chance at it.

The way I see it, my being a Zoomer is in some ways an advantage: Although I'm not prepared for a Civil War and won't be for at least a few years, I at least have plenty of time to plan my future in multiple ways and for multiple scenarios.

I'm having a similar problem. It's getting harder and hard to stay neutral and not openly push back against such obvious falsehoods.

Exactly. I increasingly find myself with my temper almost boiling over due to this shit, both stuff they're doing now and stuff they did in the past.

I can guarantee you that just about everyone here has this problem. I almost always avoid talking about politics around other people. As much as it hurts my soul to keep quiet, it simply isn’t worth the risk. Expressing these views around other people will never end well.
