IDK. I get the feeling this dude is trolling. Like, not 4ch trolling but trolling for money. Perfect con artist exploiting current niche.

I tend to agree. But it's also why I don't really give a fuck about him specifically. Like he's all over the chatter. I get criticizing the white house for having him come in as a "transgender voice" I think that's someone that we can all agree on.

But in terms of the videos and the marketing it's just like, this guy thrives on attention, why are we giving him so much attention?

That’s exactly it. I believe Dylan condemned to a life of quiet monotony where he wasn’t getting showered in attention would be his version of hell. He is 1000 percent a simple attention whore. And whether he knows it or not, I think that day is coming. We live in a rapid stimuli world and the next big attention whore is always just around the corner. Even many on the left are getting tired of his woman face minstrel show. And in a couple years, I think people will just recall, “that one weirdo who was on price is right and went to the White House to encourage sterilizing kids.

Wasn't dylan a very outspoken gay man until his popularity starting to pummel?Around that time was when he came out as trans(conveniently). Also as far as i'm aware the dude never got bottom surgery. So it's very odd that companies, white house, msm, etc is promoting him. There's also the fact that this do has had any struggles, or anything someone with gender dysphoria went through.

"twink death" is an ugly thing--imagine thinking your life being over when you hit 25

Think it's safe to say the answer is no

I'd never heard of him before. I think he was a super stereotypically gay Broadway actor before.

Grifters, perverts, and predators flock to the current version of LGB-oriented IdPol because it's perfect for them. It's high social status, high visibility, and has a veritable mob of useful idiots practically begging to throw themselves in front the slings and arrows of all critics.

he was a twink showman long before the troon craze. He likes being out in the spotlight, and money talks.

Isn't it funny how the trans community always turns on their own? It's like there's something inherently wrong and disturbing about acting like this that pushes people away on an instinctual level, but they can't say the obvious reason so they have to make something else up.

[–]ClassroomPast6178[S] 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

I think that it’s more cynical than that. I think they all know that they’re playacting, and that they also know that they’re getting away with an awful lot of shit at the moment because they’re the flavour of the day amongst progressives (a fickle bunch who will switch causes according to fashion and social pressure) and that anything that risks turning the normies against them risks causing them to lose their privileges.

The worst thing for them would be for people to “wake up” to how insane their demands and behaviour are, and stuff like a hyper-camp man clowning about claiming to be a little girl are dangerous to their position in society.

The thing is, only a tiny, tiny percentage have surgery of any kind and even hormones are not particularly common, so once the social privileges disappear the vast majority of those claiming some trans identity will melt away and act like nothing happened - no doubt taking on the next social media, social justice fad - whatever it might be (I suspect incest or zoophilia).

The most narcissistic of them will likely notice that detransitioners are getting positive attention and start publicly detransitioning. Pretending that they were victims of what they are currently championing.

[–]ClassroomPast6178[S] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

That’s an excellent point and not one that had crossed my mind, but you’re right and a big name destransitioner could potentially cause the whole thing to fall apart and begin a new trend of ex-trans vying for attention based on their victimhood. I suspect the reason Oli London didn’t precipitate such an even is because everyone already thought he was mentally ill before he started gender transition, what with his psychotic obsession with that South Korean pop star and the lengths he went to surgically before he decided he was all I’m a lady.

I suppose this is why we should be extremely diligent in keeping all the receipts, so that they don’t get away with acting like the aggrieved party when their circus tent of lies collapses on them.

[–]LyingSpirit472 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Well, also because in retrospect it was clear London was only trans to take the piss out of people because of it- first it was saying he was trans-Korean and "If someone can be transgender, I can be trans-Korean", then "oh, really? Then I'm transgender", then "Oh, no I'm not."

[–]alladd 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I think as narcissists each individual trans person thinks THEY are passing, or radical, or whatever they do is the best, and everyone else around them who might act similarly or identify similarly is just a faker.

That explains the mentality behind why so many still go through pointless useless procedures for dead end results. Each and every one of them thinks they're different and something special will happen to them which hasn't to anyone else.

So when a broad, stereotypical caricature of a creepy man pretending to be a woman gets famous, a lot of other men who highly resemble him take offense, and distance themselves.

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

That's what cults do if you don't toe the line and walk on egg shells around them. One fuck up and you're out.

[–]Caessium 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

No, it's actually completely reasonable, and their main problem is that they very rarely do it. The usual reaction is closing their ranks behind the insane member of their demographics and shielding them from any criticism. If they're fed up with one of themselves, it's a huge step forward.

The trans forums on Reddit.com are abuzz with chatter about the 28-year-old, often focussed on whether she's authentically trans, or a money-making grifter, and if she's a good face for the movement.

The comments, posted under anonymous usernames, run the gamut. For some, Mulvaney is simply 'not my cup of tea.' For others, she's a 'bit cringe,' 'annoying,' 'privileged,' and even 'obnoxious.'

'Nobody I know can stomach her,' posted one user on the 'asktransgender' thread, a forum of some 264,000 members — which amounts to a sixth of the estimated 1.6 million trans Americans.

[–]alladd 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

A sixth of all trans people in America, yet when MalesOfReddit posts daily creeper posts from there they're taken as "not indicative of the community as a whole". Odd.

[–][deleted] 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

The "no true trans" fallacy.

[–]LtGreenCo 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

They're jealous. Mulvaney is living the tranny narcissist's dream and getting all the attention they think they deserve. Plain and simple.

[–]handbananasrevenge 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

He’s doing it for the same reason they all do it. Mental illness and a desire for clout and attention. They’re just pissed he found a way to monetize it.

[–]Adventurous_Ad6212 2 insightful - 3 fun2 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

Mr.mulvaney is a very pretty man

[–]bife_de_lomo 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

HE is making them look bad? JFC...

[–]Datachost 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Yeah, he's just ridiculous. I'd have thought all the rapists, exhibitionists & mass shooters would be making them look bad

[–]ClassroomPast6178[S] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

The media does the job of obscuring and obfuscating when it comes to rapists, exhibitionists and mass shooters, there’s a ready and willing supply of apologists to jump in, coughOwenJonescough. The usual useful idiots have been very quiet on Dylan Mulvaney though.

[–]OuroborosTheory 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Dylan looks like friggin' Momo, or this ad: they really couldn't have picked a worse figure, there's no RELATABILITY, no struggle to empathize with--Dylan just appeared last year capering like a wendigo caught on camera and the White House said "that's our guy! uh, gal" like, find somebody faintly NORMAL like a cashier or photographer, most women's lives aren't Shoes! Purses! Brain-Searing Comments About Barbie Pockets!

it's like how Yaniv was briefly "the face" of trans women, until everyone found out about the topless 12yo pool-party proposals, hanging around waiting for a 12yo to ask for a tampon, and racism

it's just basic gatekeeping--because if you don't gatekeep, you GET gatekept: gay guys managed to distance themselves from the bugchasers and 40something middle-school creepers, instead of angrily reminding people on Twitter and YouTube comments that Ed Savitz, Dahmer, and Gacy were gay every time they were brought up

[–]Doodle00 0 insightful - 1 fun0 insightful - 0 fun1 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

It’s kind of weird how this keeps happening. Like, mulvaney would be the third or fourth (off the top of my head) trans woman to come into prominence who has a creepy/checkered past. Him, yaniv, chandellor, would chris chan count too? There’s a really interesting (read: not at all shocking) pattern here, but we should totally let them into kids and women’s spaces guys! Totally safe and normal!!!!

[–]OuroborosTheory 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I think it's a cross between 1. "you don't need to have any dysphoria to be trans! just ask Sophie La--NO DON'T" and 2. the fact this is all 17yo political teenyboppers who just agree to any properly-presented wokeness: in 2014 they would've been radfems panhandling for the Brynn Omdahl Defense Fund or whatever--after all, college students are supposed to protest constantly, right? too bad a Black guy had OWS ridden down with mounted police like some tsar, huh?

Off topic, but I use Ad Blocker and it usually lets me pause on a site and allow ads to read the article, but I've been noticing lately that that no longer works. What gives? Are the making me permanently stop Ad Blocker on their sites? Fuck that.

[–]ClassroomPast6178[S] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Yeah, sites are wising up to adblockers and either blocking you entirely or making the experience so ridiculously unpleasant that you turn it off. DailyMail is terrible for this, one of the most godawfully annoying and frustrating sites but they’ve been quite good at neutrally covering the trans stuff whereas other British sites have been openly pro-trans in their reporting.

Serious question:
Is Dylan a Jewess?
Or have military family?
