We need an absolute rejection of this ideology, and we need it yesterday.

Gender isn't entirely socially constructed, it's intrinsically linked and informed by our sexual dimorphism.

Men and women are distinct entities, not identities.

I disagree. Gender is not only entirely "socially constructed", it's a made up lie, no different from any other cult ideology. Accepting that gender is real is the first step down a path to madness.

What?

That's just what I've been thinking lately. Sex exists, obviously. But gender, if understood as anything beyond a synonym, is made up nonsense.

True, gender is essentially a synonym for sex, it's only when you look at our culture obliquely that there's any use for separating sex and gender. Gender being the cultural expression biological sex takes in a society. There's no practical merit to separating sex and gender, it's only an academic abstraction.

They should have used a new word rather than twisting an already used one.

In countries which only have one word for biological sex (and gender is only a language term) they call this academic gender "sex roles" or "sex stereotypes".

I vote for sex stereotype, it's a more accurate term.

Gender was the new word. People just took it to be a more "polite" way to say "sex" but were misusing the word itself.

It's a bit unfortunate that the word they chose was related to grammar which also has masculine and feminine forms which also have no direct connection to biological sex but do imply it in some cases.

Gender really isn't a synonym for sex, "gender" specifically relates to language, whereas sex is biological reality. "Male" and "female," "man" and " woman" aren't genders, they are sexes. Gender refers to nouns and how they relate to other words, and the most common ones in gendered languages are "masculine," "feminine," "neuter" and/or "ungendered," though I believe some languages contain others (again, though, this is LANGUAGES, not PEOPLE).

A long time ago, people decided it was impolite to use the word "sex" in gentlemanly conversation, though, so they started using the word "gender" inappropriately as a euphamism. A certain high-profile groomer who wanted to abuse children decided to use that whole "word vs euphemism" ambiguity to add a veneer of scientific legitimacy to his darker desires, and now we are having debates about "there are only two genders" versus "gender is a spectrum," and the truth is both arguments are wrong, because they're both using the word "gender" as a stand-in for sex.

There are two SEXES. There are as many GENDERS as any language cares to have. Neither of these things are a SPECTRUM, and only sex is relevant to the idea of PEOPLE.

2nd wave feminism did adopt that use of the word gender to talk about a legitimate subject ie the sex based castes. Many of those same people also went full off the rails by claiming all of gender is a social construct as if evolution played no part. When the ignorant masses looped back around with thinking sex = gender, the TRAs went full nutter and brought in the social construct element to sex.

Gender is a function of language, and only applies to people insofar as the language involved.

Languages use gender, people have sexes, and the idea of conflating the two came from people not wanting to say "sex" in polite society, even when referring to the differences between the sexes

Exactly.

“Gender Identity” was invented by infamous Mengele-wannabe and paedophile John Money. Funny how so many of the people involved in Queer/Gender/etc Theory are paedophiles or paedophile-apologists. Gets the old noggin joggin’. Groomers gonna groom.

Careful: Your stance is too close to the center!

If you aren't 100% in favor of killing all people to the Left of you, then you're a liberal and conservatives will demand your death

Of course, if you aren't 100% in favor of killing all conservatives, then you are one and the liberals will call for your death, too

That's why I support killing anyone to the left or right of me, and honestly anyone who believes exactly what I do but won't bow down to me. As is properly respectful in the modern political climate.

Police REFUSE to say whether a sex crime suspect exposed male or female genitals

Sounds like guilt by omission. But regardless, do we even need to ask? Just look at CCTV images; that's a man.

Plus let's be honest, women aren't exactly known for flashing their genitals to teenage girls. Trannies on the other hand...

Yeah I don't know who they think they're trying to protect. Everyone already knows it was a dick he was waving around, even before seeing the pictures

British Transport Police have been criticised after refusing to say the gender of a person who exposed their genitals to two teenagers at a railway station.

Police officers released CCTV images of a purple-wigged dress-wearing person stating they may be able to help their investigation into the incident which took place at Theale station, Berkshire.

The grainy images show the person wearing a purple wig, black sunglasses, a blue jumper, a skirt and backpack.

However online users have blasted the police force for not clarifying if the offender is a man or a woman.

One person tweeted at British Transport Police saying they must know their gender - as the victims would have told them which gender the person was after 'they were cruelly exposed to their genitals'.

Just before 3pm on September 2, two teenage girls, aged 15 and 16, were sat on-board a train at the station when someone on the platform approached the train’s window.

As the train started the depart the station the person exposed their genitals to the two teenagers before making lewd hand gestures in their direction.

They then walked into a shelter at the station and masturbated.

Officers have said the person in the CCTV images may have information which could help their investigation.

I’m guessing that BTP subscribed to the Stonewall Diversity Champions scheme and as a result are utterly captured by this shit.

You know what bothers me the most about this. England is the country from which North Americas policing system originates no it wasn't anything to do with escaped slaves I've heard that argument before and the fact is it's not true. it may have played a minor role in American police, but it is not the origins. if anyone reading this is still lying to themselves i urge you to go read up on Sir Robert Peele. infact go even farther back and read about fucking Hammurabi's code. The fact of the matter is England played a large part in how the west styles their police systems. To see what could only be described as the forefathers of our legal system slowly corrode themselves to being so ineffective, they can't even give true descriptions of perpetrators is deeply concerning to me. I can't even troll about securing the gay race and trans baby futures because this shit fucking annoys me so fucking much.

Do we need a new term for this, like DRA: Deliberate Reality Avoidance?

[–]ClassroomPast6178[S] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Deliberate Reality Denial?
Malicious Reality Distortion?

It’s 1984-esque shit.

”You are a slow learner, Winston.”
“How can I help it? How can I help but see what is in front of my eyes? Two and two are four.”
“Sometimes, Winston. Sometimes they are five. Sometimes they are three. Sometimes they are all of them at once. You must try harder. It is not easy to become sane.”

Just replace a few words in that quote and you have the extent of the argument for trans and multiple genders. The priestly/elite/speeshul class asserts it and it’s real/true/double-plus good and everyone has to go along with it or be labelled a bigot.

'We are committed to tackling violence against women and girls across the rail and underground network.'

Hm that's odd how do they know the people they (fail to) protect are women and girls?? I thought this was just about "people"???

You’re not looking for logical consistency from people who don’t know basic biology, are you?

Had to Google woke, cops are not racial prejudice and discrimination. They target criminals and I'm glad they try to keep our streets safe from low life trash.
