Kiwifarms is a website dedicated to archiving and in all fairness oftentimes harassing lolcows. If trans people are overrepresented there, maybe you should stop and think why they have a higher percentage of lolcows than the general population.

Kiwifarms is a neat site, but they're mostly reddit normies who obsess about lolcows. I usually only go there when there's a mass shooting and info starts getting scrubbed from the web.

I was reading his comics, this one was particularly offensive. Desisted is the former trannies who didn't have medical treatment, detrans are the ones who did. These are people who sterilized themselves, cut off their breasts, screwed up their voices, their ability to enjoy sex, drastically reduced their pool of potential mates... It's not a step on the journey to authenticity, it's realizing you fucked up bad.

I think making the world safer for everyone is a good goal, that includes trans-people, and I think the best way to ensure their safety is institutionalization if they express suicidal ideations.

Exactly. I don't want people to kill themselves it's horrible. So if they threaten to do so the most compassionate thing to do is to put them somewhere where they can't harm themselves.

I don't know if the threat is legitimate or a form of emotional terrorism but it doesn't really matter. Ultimately assuming that the threat is legitimate and institutionalizing them is the proper way to deal with it. If they are emotional terrorists they don't get their way and get their freedom restricted. If they are legitamately disturbed they get the help they need.

As much as I'd like to simply call the bluff of the emotional terrorists and watch their realization of how utterly stupid their strategy is if nobody actually gives a shit if they kill themselves, the stakes are too high.
