Seconding what you said, also:

Part of these girls start to identify as trans because it became socially acceptable. This is their solution to being subjected to abuse at home or some other abuse they experienced in life (be it physical, sexual abuse or even bullying, psychological abuse), as well as when they’re subjected to sexism. Of course ordinary ways of dealing with that are no longer accepted, because in their contagions if any wanted to speak her mind why there is such toxicity towards woman (and by women too!) she would be called a nasty TERF. It’s straight up preying on the vulnerable youth, who rarely has a good solution to their issues.

I live in a country where many complain about the mental healthcare and I see more and more teens on Twitter becoming trans. Of course 9 out of 10 are girls, claiming to be trans men or nonbinary. This is both the social contagion and also the fault of parents who either caused them to seek comfort in such cursed communities or didn’t teach them to be more responsible. But then, adolescence is always a stupid age. Yet until some trends weren’t made popular, no one would see so many teenagers do that.

Very good reply. Back when I had queer & trans friends (see my comment), I felt disgusted with how they demanded respect for their identities and orientation but would make fun of someone just on the base of being straight or Christian. It never stick up with me, back in my LGBT-friendly days I would say I respect them but demand them to respect others too, to not use illogical arguments and attacks. They didn’t care anyway, in their eyes they were clearly superior for not being cis-hetero-normative.

Seeing how many other people of their community whom I never knew (but are active online) can be aggressive, it shocks me. I remembered the troons who send CP to people they consider TERFs (mostly women) and it’s so sick. At first I thought such people only want to be respected and their existence is sad but then I realized they’re a part of abuse system themselves; supporting it with their narcissism or active attacks on others.

When I was a child and young teenager I obviously didn’t have a clue about it and didn’t care (would probably be against), unfortunately something in my teenage years had changed.

I met two girls from my school (different classes) who became my friends. I met the first one because I was “paired” with her during a certain event made by our school, when we had to do certain charity activities. We talked more. A few months later she was absent for a long time and the second girl (friend to both of us) told me that something difficult is going on but she isn’t sure she can tell me - the absent one is in hospital. My mind wondered is it a cryptic way to say she has a cancer or something. I was very worried. Some time later I contacted the absent girl on Skype. We talked and she revealed she is a FTM, wants to transition and prefers a male name, etc. I wanted to be supportive because she was my friend so I switched name and pronouns while addressing her. I wanted to let her know I support her. At school, no teacher knew (I think?), she was only using it in private conversation with her closest friends (including me and third girl).

During our teenage years she was still trans, after going to high school in that other school she began to used a male name and pronouns and unfortunately all teachers used it too. All students as well, although I believe there were some who were secretly joking or just acted suspicious. It was also a small private school so it can explain something too. She was always a tomboy but of course her style became much more “masculine” in high school, aka looking like a depressed boy in a hoodie, even shorter hair but not super short.

She was also weird, she had some smart talents but also dated online from a young age (which was super weird for me), said she had “boyfriends” from far away parts of the world (Asia), I learned one day accidentally she also liked some Facebook pages about ecchi when she was ~13. Grooming in plain sight but I didn’t even think much about it.

Our trinity was close because we all seemed like “outcasts” and were introverted and had some more niche interests. Eventually the third girl came out as bisexual sometime, later pansexual and somewhere after it - nonbinary. She began to use in private conversations neutral pronouns which sound really cursed in my language. I agreed, not to hurt her feelings.

About 2 years later we all parted because these two girls (FTM and nonbinary) decided to cut contact with me, even though nothing seemed to me like they planned it. The reason was eventually that they found me too innocent, called me a bigot (for supposedly not agreeing enough with all queer stuff that exists), they focused more on their sexuality and I was too vanilla and not queer for them. At first I was confused over losing two close friends but then I came to realized it’s better that way for me and that actually their shenanigans were harmful for me, making me wither confused or depressed.

Then I realized how harmful the trans thing is, first I rejected the nonbinary variant of it (seemed much more illogical and based on stereotypes) but then I also saw such qualities exist in the “classic” trans identity too (FTM and MTF). I began to understand the pattern of anxiety, coming from toxic or abusive families, being an outcast and unhealthy obsessions, issues with body image. I understood that transition is not a way to help those with dysphasia, it harms their bodies and fuels their problems. As I saw with the FTM friend, even though she started transition (in a “social” way aka using new name and style change; supposedly she was taking hormones too which is weird because she weren’t 18 yet and we live in kinda conservative country) there was always something which would make her spiral into suicide thoughts. Nothing was ever perfect, there was only pain and confusion. I also felt bitter over how schizophrenic it all felt, using name and pronouns for someone who isn’t even a man but people around agreed to call her such if she demands so.

One day when she stood near me I got a glimpse of her ID with female name and identification info on it, I wonder if she ever changed it or not.

Beside these two whom I know irl, I knew online some people who turned out to be trans (all FTMs, one nonbinary). That being said, most of them trooned out after our contact loosened, there was only one FTM whom I know online while it was going on. She was also weird, self-harming, bragged out once that her father molested her out of the blue (some inappropriate touching while he came to her room; it seemed to me it didn’t ever happen before that accident she told me about). I think I was urging her to get help, tell school psychologist or something but she didn’t want to. I don’t know how we came to lose contact but I felt grateful in a way for being freed of burden of someone’s trauma.

Now I’m anti-trans in a way I acknowledge it’s evil and harmful (and gives a pass to many rapists as MTFs show us). I think maybe a portion of troons, rather the FTM variants (girls and women in general) might get help, because it’s due to trauma, body issues, etc. I can sympathize a bit but don’t support the trans identity.

I also felt wrecked in a way because I was often that girl who was perfect and had a burden of caring for others, my empathy made me hurt, people who were in charge (teachers) didn’t seem to care much and I was left to be occupied with pains of teenagers I knew, my peers or only a bit older or younger. I didn’t deserve to learn of such cursed things. These people turned out that way because they didn’t get proper help and it will continue to happen if we won’t change it, most girls will be harmed and will spiral into various forms of self-harm (including transition) and boys and men will find ways to harm themselves too or even assault others and go away with it.

Although I barely discuss with troons, sometimes I observe their debates with other people and I think most of them are dropping it but those who still use it might manage to present it in some woke way. There must be still some portion who has a more “traditional” idea about the debunked brain theory but maybe they’re not so vocal.

They would rather respond with “gender with a spectrum” or “there are different notions of sex and gender, aka biological, cultural, neurological, etc.” (which is also massively sexist, as the brain argument is, to say that cultural stereotypes dictate what is a woman so a man dressing in a feminine way could be perceived as such).

It could be like that. Although depends on the community. I had a misfortune of knowing a few trans people and one of them, a girl (FTM) said once that she thinks the T doesn’t belong in the acronym, because it’s a gender identity and not a sexual orientation. Nevertheless, she was pro-“trans rights” and still connected these issues of orientation and identities. I think there are some other trans people like her. But of course it’s up to non-trans LGB what they will do with that.

[–]FlyingKangaroo 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Well, that’s an understandable concern. I would say this argument shouldn’t apply to all differences between people. For example, someone having eccentric life philosophy or being into some subculture is not always harmful.

However, with gender identities, it should always be a concern. I agree with you. Not only these people are not getting real help (I’m talking about these with any legitimate dysphoria and mental issues) but they also promote harmful identities and coping mechanisms. They harm themselves and others.

Technically, if some people were capable of believing that a man can become a woman and vice versa or that you can be “agender”, they might as well believe that paedophilia is not harmful, that fire doesn’t burn, that you can cure broken bones by walking on glass, etc. This is scary what pointless things became normalized and how they started to affect some social groups, even whole societies and countries.

Reminds me how I was browsing r/nursing some days ago and in the sub rules I came across two contradictory things. One rule was to not promote pseudoscience and the other was to not show bigotry and transphobia was included. Apparently any criticism of trans thing might be discarded by influential voices as “not scientific”, “hateful”, etc. It’s only a matter of time when public will finally see worse and worse cases of lives wretched by it or people who used it to get away with their depravity.

Only last month I talked with a few nonbinary idiots in real life (a very rare event). They were all girls (well, young women but I’d be capable of saying they were no different to me from teenagers). The amount of self-hate and pandering to perverts, including TIMs is uncanny and scary.

I also prefer to talk to friends who I know wouldn’t support it. I’m lucky to live in a country where the trans thing isn’t generally supported, although it changed with younger generations and I’m a bit afraid about it. Mostly it’s that I would either avoid that topic if it’s possible or when it pops up, I’d try to politely say I am skeptical or against it.

Only this week I (voluntarily) started a discussion with a few younger students from a queer organization. I tried to show them my arguments why the trans identities cover up real problems. I think it went well (that I wasn’t as stressed out as I expected) but of course they didn’t understand anything and only kept using their “flawless” arguments. At least I met three girls who all said they were nonbinary and one of them outright said she dislikes her body.

Could be worse had I lived in a country where I’d be arrested for that. But I wouldn’t stop for sure.

The trans thing simply changes the thing that from now on everyone should obey the suicidal trans person and do whatever they want to do, no matter how harmful or stupid, otherwise it will be transphobia and threatening their life. For example mindlessly accepting the trans identity, whereas the underlying issue might be sexual abuse trauma or simply disgust with one’s body linked to abusive family or something like anorexia or varied mental health issues.

[–]FlyingKangaroo 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

it is normal for trans folks

Well, you got it explained.

About the other things: this reminds me of the Twitter minors who post stuff about self-harm safety, etc. Well, if they already do it, it’s good someone tried to make it safer, at least care for the wounds but I agree with you - best it should be completely stopped because it’s a danger to them. Kinda reminds me of these drug programs to supposedly stop addiction, when druggies are given some substitutes or real drugs but of a better quality than from most dealers. Weird idea to fight addiction, it’s just changing the source of drugs.

All things connected, it clearly shows how trans people are secretive about their harmful habits (including transition). I mean, some people with BPD and depression for example can become pretty toxic too, even met them, but with the trans identity it’s all multiplied. This is the worst thing that happened to younger generations since anorexia/eating disorders wave and self-had, frequency, as well as the common mental health issues. This simply intensifies already existing problems (self-harm for example) and adds a new cursed layer to it (trans).

Yes, there were irl friends (of course later I realized they were never as good friends as I thought, lol). What’s unusual, we met at school. At first I only perceived them as girls, which they are, but some months later I learned the first one is FTM. Later, in another school, her social transition went so far she was using a different name and pronouns at school. Always had a more masculine style but it was accelerated in the next school, with the hairstyle and even different clothing.

In the span of few years the second girl came out as bi, then came out as pan and later (or circa pansexual coming out?) as nonbinary. In her case it involved a new fake name but only used among friends and sometimes online and silly neutral-sounding pronouns (our first language isn’t English so it all sounds even stupider than they/them).

Around year or two year after the second one’s NB coming out we all fell out, they both suddenly cut contact with me and only left a message saying how much of a bigot, prude and hater I am. That all being said when I was (sadly) supportive of their identities and never mocked them for that; however they knew they both were further than me into the gender shit, for example there were some queer things I would never accept (like related to children or being against kink at pride).

I was a bit angry and sad it happened since I didn’t mean bad for them but overall I became happier. Later I realized it’s actually better that way for me, to not be burdened with their traumas or irritating behavior. But most importantly - I realized how evil this stuff is. Perhaps I was lucky never meeting MTF too, I feel most FTMs and female enbies are more tame and less predatory.

There were also a few online acquaintances (all women again) who trooned out. We also lost contact but I wouldn’t say it was directly due to the trans thing. I say this because with some I drifted apart before they came out. Only later I encountered their profiles online again and saw how they changed. Almost all were trans men now, one nonbinary (but striving for a more transmasc style than the real-life ex-friend I had). In one case, I distanced from one female artist I knew online when we argued over something (she was overreacting over me noticing she was mean to someone else) and we didn’t talk much later (even though the matter was explained). However, one day I saw she now uses a male name and male pronouns, so I went to unfollow and block her, as this disgusted me. I must admit she was a fujoshi, though never I would expect her trooning out; I wonder if there was any childhood trauma involved. Once she had some girlfriend I think, after trooning out started a relationship with another woman art creator who’s a trans man too. I know they’re getting hormonal therapy currently. Cursed things.

Additional fact: the first ever trans person I ever known, that girl from school who was FTM, now uses even a different male name online (with a different surname, Asian-like). I figured out she might be hanging with some older man, that sounds weird. A sugar daddy? Tranny chaser? Who knows.

The question is whether people and to what extent used any ethnic/religious/social connections to be supported, to avoid criticism. This is not a matter of anyone’s background but personality, whether someone works for a good cause or not. But I see that it won’t make much sense to discuss it.

For example, I can see how the term antisemitism is misused in some scenarios (such as when some people wish any critique of the state of Israel and its politics equals antisemitism when it doesn’t). But I’m neither a type who applauds race conspiracies. If conspiracy guys often say that some petty stuff is used to divide people, why they can’t see it in every possible case? The issue is not someone’s ethnicity or similar stuff but who they are as a person, using their resources and what such person wants to do with others.

[–]FlyingKangaroo 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I think that faggot is referring to the issue that people with some severe disabilities (let’s say, Down syndrome) or things like schizophrenia might not be allowed to marry or someone else will have a right to divorce them (in a case when someone hides mental illness and it’s revealed later). But mostly the issue with getting married. However, that exists for a reason. At the same time I don’t hear people on wheelchairs bitching that they can’t marry.

Disabled people can have sex outside marriage of course but I assume such difficulties (not in all cases - only in some of them) exist to potentially prevent from passing severe disabilities to children, at least that’s something I always heard. However, there are cases when someone was reluctant to give a marriage and it happened anyway, depends on country and law.

But queer idiots will equal disabilities to fancy sexual buzzwords. Ironic considering how the trans thing is akin to amputee fetishism.

How can people accept trans people when they can't even accept themselves for who they are? by [deleted] in TumblrInAction

[–]FlyingKangaroo 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I’ve seen this question before (used in a meme) but that’s a curious one.

The answer is because they want to terrorize everyone else with their believes. They hate themselves as they’re are originally (what they would call “assigned gender/sex”) so they force others to participate in their delusions.

The answer why they can’t accept their biological sex is varied (many people have different stories) but what looks like shared by them all is: because they associate said biological sex with bad stuff. For example, a woman might think being a woman makes her only a sex object and a victim of patriarchy so the “solution” is to become a man or enby. A man might feel he doesn’t relate to the less “sophisticated” and more brutal/stupid men so he will become more feminine... At the end of the day, they reinforce all the possible stereotypes if they claim it’s otherwise and make life harder for those who live their own life and don’t fit sexist ideas.

In some cases, this is also purely a fixation on aesthetic aspect. Like associating being a man/woman with particular style and wanting to emulate it so bad that the body and identity needs to be changed. Then there are also people who had other problems related to body perception (such as self-harm, anorexia, experience of sexual abuse, being shamed by family members or someone else...).

Accepting trans identities will never help the people with issues to resolve their problems and instead will give a pass for horrifying perverts and accepting and hiding abuse and sexism.

It’s an interesting process. I knew two people in real life, they weren’t atheists from the start but I’d say they were kind of liberal Christians/capable of some Christian-like belief but maybe not caring much about religion and most people’s attitudes to it. They became atheists (although one said as well she had some sort of “her own religion”, never elaborating on it) but the more atheist these two became, the more zealous they were about queer stuff. Not a surprise since one (with “her own religion”) was trans FTM and the other, also female, became NB later. While the NB one was much more aggressive in a way of being anti-Christian, I wondered why they’re capable of supporting so much irrational things as the trans stuff, if they’re against religion (or at least, the mainstream representation of that). The orientation & gender stuff is their new religion, I guess, so they have to defend it...

I know that the brain scans don’t match this theory but I assume trans people would come up with something “b-but brain scans don’t show all that there is to brain!” or “science is made by white cis men” all over (I mean in a case for those who would accept brain theory as argument, even though it’s faulty). Even though they play with science, using whatever is a suspicion or not, to back their own opinions, a lot of what they promote isnKt actually about science but about feelings. Even though process of feelings is reflected in some way in our neurological system (but of course I won’t elaborate how, I’m not a scientist), feelings are expressed in some varied ways sometimes, due to culture, and it looks like they’re hard to grasp after all. I don’t mean not being able to perceive how someone feels like according to us, I mean it’s hard to fully know why someone feels that way. Because for example, some people might say “this person is angry because they feel being trans is a special identity and those not accepting it are evil far-right bigots, they want to be special or have victim mentality” and the trans person would mention different reasons for being angry.

You got it at the end I think, what I wrote above. It’s not about rationality, it’s about feelings. Even it’s hard to stick to definitions because there will be always someone who understands definition in a different way. I don’t remember where but perhaps on SaidIt I came across a person saying that nowadays the trans label is being applied to everyone who doesn’t fit gender stereotypes in the slightest way. Some portion of woke people will regard that as aspect of trans or any other “opposing” of gender binary. That’s why it’s actually hard to argue with them, they’re more preoccupied with their feelings than facts and use labels and terms that can have infinite possible definitions.

I agree that there is no way to say how “having a gender” feels like. Any woman or man doesn’t go and think “wow, I feel so masculine/feminine today/always”. That’s just nonsense. Trans people, aside from their psychological problems, perceive gender/sex as aesthetic or way of behavior or personality.

„What is a female brain?” is a worse question in my opinion too, I can only see it being used in brain discussion but not as alternative to “what is a woman?”.

Well, even though the brain gender theory is presented by many as some support for the trans thing, it’s not surprising there are also trans people who might be against it. Some might think it’s not progressive enough, other have little enough reason to left to suspect it’s not what it seems.

Another comment because my previous one was a long one.

I’m afraid that transition and “secrecy” of it will give a further pass for child abuse. Like, people will be told to not care about what parents do with their child (when not all parents are good obviously...) or parents won’t be able to stop indoctrination at some schools (when a teacher might encourage a child to transition and school will ease that process in name of trans rights).

That will create situations in which child abuse will be hidden and protected from investigation. Anyone daring to investigate it or criticize will be condemned as a transphobe and possible child abuser while the real abusers will be the ones transing the child.

Not a trans example but look at the child “drag queens”. It’s very similar.

About trans people, compare it to infamous Discord servers and other online communities. It will have extension in real life. Telling child those who might be real help for him/her are not to be trusted and instead someone else cares for them, is their “real parent/guardian”. Such situations will facilitate grooming and even exposing children and teenagers to porn, giving them harmful substances, exposing them to degenerate stuff and behaviors. And of course will reinforce, more or less willingly, support for this degeneration because “our little group is cool and rad and all the others and bland evil cis people”.

Of course it all also implies children are capable of adult decisions and adult thought processes which is hella creepy and mirrors the arguments pedophiles use; the acceptance of trans children and via queer connection, exploring “sexuality” at such a young age is a thing helping to hide pedophilia.

Very good point. People need to realize our sex isn’t fluid as some creatures might have it. We’re made that way and how the transition would be different from otherkin wanting to become a fox, unicorn or a bird? An argument that trans people use is that “but you cis are obsessed with genitals!!!” while we’re not. They’re the ones who are anxious their genitals control their life. If anything, we need to challenge those dumb enough to still shit on women/men for being women/men and not pander to those who want to chase something impossible in hope it will make their life ideal. Trans people use biology arguments in such a way they disfigure them or use arguments not applying to humans in hope someone will be unintelligent enough to buy into it. They will play with any evidence to make it seem it supports them.

It’s sexist and doesn’t help with real problem.

I see people still use the “brain sex” argument. Now in case we accept this for discussion, this makes the trans thing really against natural diversity. Because of some women would have “masculine” brains and men “feminine brains”, why should we don’t accept that makes women and men naturally diverse? I saw a commenter saying this is the reason for coming out as trans, as someone is born to live as another gender. But this is sexist, it’s like saying that a girl who behaves in some ways regarded as masculine (cultural context is a reference too) should live as a boy, but on another level (brain biology). So, if we had to accept any variation of that idea, then transing erases the natural diversity and works towards cementing conglomerates of men and women while they claim to fight against stereotypes, actually support them. As some said it was already bad in certain times or society circles, I think the trans thing will help to reinforce stereotypes for those not fitting into stereotypical perception about their sex. Such as tomboys will be regarded as “trans eggs” or “not women, but make it woke!”. It’s no different from “you’re not womanly enough, that’s bad” except woke crow would be like “you’re not womanly enough, you go! break the binary!” but tomboys being like “I’m a woman in my own way, hello?”. Regardless of what the queers say, it’s not helpful at all for men who are soft in some way or have any degree of “feminine characteristics”, they will be mistaken for homosexuals or NBs or other variations of trans, not recognized as men they are, and mostly straights.

We overlook people who have serious trauma or problems of various degrees who become trans. Only this week I came across a girl describing herself as minor who writes she’s bi and FTM. Her post history reveals rape in childhood and ongoing self harm. Even though she denies it, it’s clear she associates masculinity with some control over life, perhaps safety (strange because most likely a man hurt her, but I saw other victims like that...), men having higher position in some societies, being regarded as stronger, etc. Therefore allowing trans identities will further damage all those with low self-esteem, will reinforce stereotypes and not give enough/proper help to those struggling with experiences of abuse, toxic families, mental illness or alienation, all sorts of issues. It will not lead society into direction of managing trauma or supporting young generations but it will lead us into allowing people slip into a trap of never-ending mind and body damage. Physical transition has many problems which I assume we are aware of here; in cases without surgery, it’s still bizarre to play with your identity on such a basis. I mean, identity can change in life (even religious converts are an example) but this is way too extreme to use sex/gender for that. It’s like homemade dissociation. “You’re not you”, trans people don’t really grow as people, they strive to transform into ideal imaginary persona, their transition goal.

Another argument is that it will be bad for administration and other affairs in daily life. Since the basic trans thing is already being widely accepted, all the enby variations will bring further confusion. If someone accepts FTMs, why not accept genderfluidity? In theory, that can allow person to change identity as many times as they wish. So, we already have students in some countries bitching about not having their “real” names or pronouns in online systems. Even if they would be given a few ones to put there, the chances of changes are never-ending, it will only bring chaos. Even in a regular conversation between people, over the course of days or even minutes...

Let’s also not forget how it all can worsen crime investigation. A criminal will be able to change identity and that might ease fleeing the justice system. Since someone might say you’re not allowed to ask about transition or the past of someone, it might be easy to convince someone they’re a different person or just stop someone by the “power of being offended” and transphobia accusations. Even without criminal cases or any illegal matters, it is helping to create chaos in society by further acceptance of not stable enough identities.

It will damage children because they will be not taught that they can do whatever they like but will see the subtle codes of “a boy not being boyish enough is secretly a girl”. Don’t even get me started of the horrors of possibility of being brought up by trans but just sharing these ideas to children will confuse them. Age-appropriate education but no propaganda. Saying that transition is the only way to deal with dysphoria is like helping anorexics to lose weight.

I believe it could always escape. Just the fact that it existed on Tumblr was a problem. Yeah, you have people who live kinda decent lives to others but online might expose really bizarre fetishes... Not all are dangerous though.

But anyway, here you have people so convinced that online they’re able to show their “real” identity; why be surprised it finally escaped to the real, offline life? Just as someone might be a fundamentalist or a terrorist, first they would expose extreme views in some closed groups, sometimes online but a day will come when that person will show their true colors behind that niche space.

By the logic of extreme identities and allowing everything, that’s true. If you believe transgender is valid, why not accept transabled people, transracial, otherkin and so on? With any “but it’s a fetish!” argument, same was already applied to transgender (and it’s true lol). Someone has a fetish for being Korean, another has a fetish for being a woman or man.

I asked once a girl who insisted on being non-binary about the otherkin. I said if she accepts trans identities, she should accept that because otherwise she would be a bigot. Her first reaction was like “but that’s [otherkin] is insane” but I told her it’s a sign of being intolerant, she should accept some people want to live as another species, even fantasy ones. Then she was like “I don’t really like it but if they don’t bother anyone, who cares?”.

This is insane they can’t see they’re on the same level as these freaks. I remember hearing years before trans was a big issue about amputee fetishism. This is the same shit, just different categories.

I think during my teenage years I didn’t also much care for being feminine, perhaps I wasn’t a total tomboy but I disliked dresses (it kind of reversed recently), I still don’t wear make up because I don’t like it. I also don’t care about fashion and like games except I’d never watch porn because that’s disgusting to me. Most of my close friends are male too, over the years I started to have better relations with girls too. I also never wanted to me a man. I think due to that I was luckily to be against some nonsense, even in my years where I’d support the cursed “trans rights”.

Makes me wonder if the majority of girls being tricked into this is only motivated by “justice for the oppressed”, self-hate or the fact they never met MtF. Because now as I think, the only trans people I met were all girls turned FtM or NB, had I met any trans woman I’d be much more disgusted. It’s not so outrageous nowadays in Western culture for a woman to dress in a masculine way while it’s worse when a man attempts to be feminine and MtFs are often the worst degenerates.

I never had a yaoi phase but knew some who did and I wonder, is it a thing because some girls and women are told the hetero relationships will have them in worse position? As in submissive to men, being subjected to sexism, etc.? So that they fantasize it’s better to be a gay man and that gay pairs are idealized, more woke, prettier etc.? That’s definitely a weird trend. My own ideas is that it’s something that contributes to becoming trans, as well as self-worth issues, trauma, social contagions and toxic families.

Indeed, I meant more like “in the making” in case they ever made real bombs. But even if this is threats only, that still makes them a danger to society. Well, they’re a danger even without bombs or threats.

Starbucks already bends over backwards for genderspecials. But, give an inch...

That’s why I don’t buy from Starbucks.

Hell no, it’s the tranny newspeak. I’m a woman, not “assigned female”. It’s not like sex is randomly assigned by doctors.

Does it piss off the genderspecials? I don’t think so. They’re the ones using it. Of course, some might be pissed off, but they’re the ones who advocate for such terms (example: describing someone as ‘AFAB nonbinary’ aka attention-seeking girl).

Tv Tropes claims Final Fantasy is “one of the few mainstream game franchises from the 90s and 00s that was interested in acknowledging its female fans” and claims that the “misogynist parts of gamer culture don’t consider it ‘real games’.” by kingc-way245 in TumblrInAction

But these are one of the most famous games? Hello???

As much as I can see some gamers are misogynistic, let’s not fall in the trap of “women, always oppressed!!!” because there are some prominent women in the industry too, much more nowadays... As well as popular game characters who are women. Cue some portion of the “women” concerned about it are troons.

Could be but doesn’t have too. Unfortunately nowadays there’s more young people who feel insecure due to associating being a man/woman with stereotypes and sexualization only. Cue possible trauma, experience of sexual abuse or being clueless about the trans agenda and the real motifs of these people. Some young people even get closer to that community just because they believe not supporting them will make them akin to “evil, homophobic and transphobic old people” they want to oppose. Some parents failed their children in giving them safety and self-worth and it might lead to such places. Oh, and casual grooming and social contagions too - not always by identifying as trans, sometimes just by showing support to them...
