Who's "science" are you using? They tell us this stuff and what can and cannot be done.

Worse, they control us via this centralized consumer culture. If everyone, or at least more people, had a modicum of self-reliance with their own gardens and such it would make a huge difference. Instead they shame the individual for not using the correct light bulb and ignore the corporations' roles in the environmental consequences of "our" actions.

Stop building suburbs around huge cities and make small towns and villages bigger to decentralize and distribute more evenly.

It's all mismanaged intentionally. And of course, with the rise of Tesla robots most human debt slaves won't be needed anymore. Thus the culling of the herd of sheeple.

I don't think it's that simple. IMO, Malthus was "correct" only because TPTB goals align.

I would point to peak phosphate as just one example. Producing food for 8 billion people without synthetic chemical fertilizers is not possible, and we do not have an unlimited supply of phosphate to mine from the ground. The population is already higher than what can be achieves by sustainable means, which the estimates put at somewhere between 0.5 - 2.0 Billion people without relying on techniques that cannot be sustained

It's been emerging since Pizzagate, and it's relevant again here in the Netherlands now that an official broadcast researched it and concluded that it's happening. Our house of representatives unanimously voted in favor of an official government investigation. It's being covered up, of course, and the investigation is set up to fail. The victims would have to testify before the very people who are accused of partaking (namely the judicial arm of the government). It isn't emerging to the wider public that watches TV.

I know this from following the Dutch independent media and can't find an English source for you right now. But for Pizzagate: check out this video to start with. This is a broader, Western phenomenon.

However, I think we can popularize and in a fashion reverse-weaponize the term by accusing the ruling class, propaganda, and status quo sheeple of calling for a pogrom against pro-choice "anti-vaxxers", free-thinkers, and truth-seekers.

Well you can't use logic and reason to convince these folks, they're not conscious so they can't think of higher level topics. Most people think there was something fishy going on with epstein, but they'll think in terms of Trump getting him killed or getting him free because they were in cahoots. If you then say well there's no evidence of that they'll say ok so what? They can't consider implications unless an MSM article discusses the implications.

Even if they believe in false conspiracies, it still means they're open to the possibility, which makes them more likely to look at the evidence regarding other conspiracies. The examples you mention are very polarized topics and therefore don't promise anything good, but you can remind them of the Snowden revelations, or the fact that Epstein didn't kill himself, and use that as a segue into more difficult topics. The latter is very important. Epstein was kept in one of the most closely guarded prisons, and yet the camera was turned off when Epstein disappeared, which is almost always done deliberately. The implications of that are tremendous, and at the same time, this is something people admit. The guards must have been bribed. That's what Epstein's friends are capable of and that points to something deeply corrupt in the system. Everyone's aware that there's some level of corruption, but this goes beyond that, and the only reason people don't realize it is because they don't reflect on the facts that are already there.

Anyway, this isn't entirely relevant to the discussion. I'm not proposing people use the term "conspiracy denialism" toward normies, but instead among their fellow truth seekers. If a normie stumbles upon it, he might take conspiracy research more seriously.

Yesterday I looked back in the comment history and remembered something we discussed in February. With due respect, I will try to avoid discussing COVID19 with you. In any event, we know each others' approaches to the matter.

LOL. Beware she doesn't Ides of March you.

Maybe what you really need is the right strain for you, one that won't impede your thoughts/ambitions yet keeps your anus chill. Then if it works for you both, you won't need to quit.

Maybe detox

I quit hard drugs a long time ago. I'm not allowed liquor anymore. I get 2 beers a day and all the weed I wanna smoke. Oddly enough I wasn't the one who wanted me to start smoking weed again. My wife wants me high, says I'm less of an asshole that way. My big problem is twofold, one I had a really hard time quitting weed last time and two) I feel like being high is a waste of my life.

I don't think falling asleep on SaidIt is unique to you.

Maybe detox?

I hope you can resolve your things. We need you around a little more.

Excellent point!!!

I hadn't considered that reverse angle. Specifically, I'd never considered: "Compiling and publishing information about people using shill tactics is an appropriate use of free speech to defend free speech."

I was actually thinking the image was appropriate as the STABs are actually attacking SaidIt, not hypothetical users potentially attacking STABs with acts of violence in real life, risking jail or worse. There's a HUGE world of difference between the them. Obviously I don't advocate violence.

However, I would not say that it's "inappropriate and indefensible". We are all on an anonymous forum, though I don't care to hide my identity. (I also don't give a shit if people know my contact info, just as you'd find in a phone book of yore. However, I would care if anyone doxxed my IP or banking info for abuse.) If any of our info was involuntarily released there's be a serious problem bigger than some hypothetical potentials.

Can't you just take another stab at it so to speak?

The concept is out there. I will continue to use the "STABs" term. I'm not going to delete this post. I still stand by it. Many will misread it regardless, as they do for everything else anyways. I see no reason to re-do it. Were I to revisit it I might use a troll image or two. Feel free to do your own thing with it.

Rich coming from you, a shill who pretends to be ignorantly pushing the "official" vaccine narratives and other authoritarian and divisive shit, intentionally overlooking mountains of evidence, and refusing to use any critical thinking to actually support or promote truths that are self-evident to anyone who even bothers to look beyond the corporatocracy's MSM propaganda.

Prolly 5G

They thought I had chronic leukemia. I think they might have been right. As soon as I get my shit together it's back to the docs. Hard though, it takes some effort.

I'm having trouble sleeping

I'm having trouble staying awake.

I didn't even expect LXXX/MoronLeft to sockpuppet upvote

I just wanted to tell you my thing primarily.

I have no problem with friendly trolling, or useful bots, or lite shilling. They're still STABs, but in these cases not in a negative way.

Yes, more walking! And now the weather is better as is my back, almost!

Hope your arm gets better sooner than later. Try spreading some ice cream on it.

Have uploaded the aftermath.

https://ibb.co/7185gdz - Bloody wound 1 - next morning at the emergency room, 9 hours later

https://ibb.co/xj1qzFS - Bloody wound 2 - just before they squirted over a quart of water into it via syringe to flush. Very fun...

You can see how my hands were in the same position as your image. Going to see a plastic surgeon this week to if repairs to my nerves are possible.

Aside from limiting sugar, we need to get you out and walking everyday.

What battles? I came up with this STABs term a few days ago and finally made it "official". I didn't even expect LXXX/MoronLeft to sockpuppet upvote it. Most of my other "brilliant" terms go largely unnoticed, like storyotype.

I'm having trouble sleeping too. Prolly 5G directed into our homes or something. More likely it's my imbalanced use of caffeine. I'm very sensitive to it so I wouldn't call it abuse, but really if I'm 10x more sensitive than most or whatever then I should do more than 10x less than most I'm still doing too much for me. More than that is finding the balance and consistency - or better: getting by without. The problem is that it helps me be motivated to "save the world", often with a day off downtime to recover. Pros & cons.

critical thinking.

This would benefit Saidit. There is often a conflation of opinion with information (and disinformation) here (not to mention a tendency to focus on insulting people - not that that's happening here - rather than carry on with reasonable arguments).

Maybe it's my genetics, but I can't eat too much sweets. Even a a little makes me feel icky. You wouldn't know it by my belly slowly shrinking over 2020. That grew from cheap shit food and inactivity and a decade long zombie coma from Big Pharma.

I asked to find insights in your views, not to point out inconsistencies, yet regretfully, I'm going to because maybe by pointing to them you might express a more refocused perspective for us both to benefit from.

I don't entirely know what my philosophy is because I'm still working it out.

Fair enough. I don't need to hold you to anything, but unless I'm missing something this statement back-peddles on your previous statement:

It is too aggressive, detrimentally so. It doesn't represent my philosophy on the matter.

Perhaps we should forget about the "philosophy" and simply address why you think the image is detrimentally aggressive. There are much worse images presented on SaidIt, not even including those NSFW. But it's not a contest and while I could defend the primitive cartoon graphic all day, I'll just let you explain why the bloody stabs toon and "STABs" term are not compatible, while you associated these with critical thinking, education, free speech, and a bloodless "whatever" (I've avoided using a specific term like revolt, labeling, witch hunt, or whatever it is you think I'm doing with this new STABs acronym term).

...the term is often applied to people that counter the prevailing narrative.

That's a good enough start but it's not just contrarians and nay-sayers. I'd also say some trolls try to be funny, jokers, pranksters, mischievous, and even malevolent shit disturbers - in varying degrees from very clever and witty to absolutely juvenile and gutter-based.

Airbus, Bob3, and Chipit may also stalk you around and/or harass you with their ignorance and intollerance.

Some asstrolls I'd go so far as to call them cyber terrorists completely up to no good and trying to destroy this site, like LXXX/MoronLeft.

The vivid cartoon image should lock it into your mind. Trust me there's much worse when you search for "stabs". Though colourful, it's hardly graphic.

It doesn't represent my philosophy on the matter.

What are you reading into it and what is your "philosophy on the matter"?

I didn't state my philosophy. I created an acronym term and definition: " STABs : Shills, Trolls, and Bots "

Not all bots are bad, nor are they all run by weak cowards. You omitted trolls. How do you feel about trolls?

STABs is just a shortened form for infiltrators who may/may not be up to no good. IMO, the cartoon is more than appropriate for promoting this cautionary awareness term for popular usage. I was lucky it was just there. Finding another image would NOT have been fun.

Quote of the month:

" Trying to have a discussion with /u/socks is like trying to dance in quicksand. "

It never ends with socks, pretending to be perpetually ignorant while promoting vaccine propaganda and authoritarianism.

Here's a couple more from just today.
