I'm not convinced any gay men really do have relationships with them. It's just virtue signalling bullshit. Both of the biggest white knights for gay transmen that I know of (one in AGB, one in real life) admit they have never been with a transman but feel entitled to lecture all the poor ignorant plebs about how transphobic they are for not accepting them as gay men.

I say this because I know cases of guys that, for some reason, decided to go and date/fuck Aideens only to regret it later.

One was a Gold Star and had a huge identity crisis/meltdown after he discovered he was basicly fucking a female on steroids. He now overcompensates exclusively because of this.

The other was a huge LGBTIdiot who decided to date a FtM for a while only to cheat on her multiple times, which resulted on them opening up the relationship, which only made his dick chasing more frequent and blatant until the whole thing imploded.

Yes, I have quite some experience with these types.

They lecture fellow gay men on accepting FtMs and how PiV sex is tottaly gay sex while flaunting their social media full of dicks. The hypocrisy is blatant.

I imagine the worst part of a gay man dating a FtM isn't the lady parts (genital fetushisht!) but the raging mental illness and delusions. A lot of them refer to their sex toys as "dicks" too, so when gay men say they want a dick, they respond with "I have several dicks for you to choose from, so what's the holdup?" as part of their strategy for cornering the guy. If they are hungry, I wonder if they will settle for a plastic banana.

He did, but gaslighted himself so much to pretend it was just normal for gay men to have vaginas.

I don't know the specific details, as I lost contact with this person, but if I were to guess I would say it was two little things: time and reflection.

But then again, his 180 on this was so sudden and strange, so there might be some other things at play in this case.

it really is amazing how people can get so caught in an illusion that a whole new mental category is created - they can see a trans person isn't actually the same as the sex they're trying to be, but still follow the social pressures and currents enough that they become something else than what their physical senses show them...
