In WokeWorld there are two groups: the Woke and Nazis. There are no individuals and no diversity of thought. Woke GroupThink and Nazis. That's it.

The Woke took over and pushed out the libertarian left the same way T took over and pushed out LGB.

This^ WokeWorld is very black and white with no shades of grey so if anyone so much as disagrees with them on anything they have to create a narrative that they are "Far-right/ alt-right/ Nazi's" because they know that their own side runs on pure ideology and won't hold up in civil debate in the face of presented evidence, so they have to try to smear the other side.

The plus side to this I find is when they actually have to present their side of things to a wider audience outside their own echo chamber they always come up, in best case scenario, short and worst case, insane.

The woke isn't true Libertarian tbh. But I agree with you on the concept about them pushing the Left-Libertarian out of the way. There's numerous statists that hijack the Libertarian label. Thoughtslime and Alex Jones are a couple of examples. Neither are Libertarian (Libertarian-Left for Thoughtslime and Libertarian-Right for Alex Jones). Thoughtslime has said some really authoritarian things that I was like "you actually think you're some flavour of Libertarian" (he thinks he's an ancom but is actually just an authoritarian). I'm a Libertarian centrist (culturally centrist, but very anti-authoritarian,just like other libertarians). Centre-Libertarian are more rare than Right-Libertarian and Left-Libertarian tbh.

The woke isn't true Libertarian tbh.

What would you call it, then? The whole "whatever you want," "consenting adults" thing seems very Libertarian to me.

You're forgetting the whole mandate of libertarianism which is "do whatever you want as long as it doesn't fuck with me ". a lot of the woke shit forgets that last half.

This is very true

Specifying "adults" isn't that libertarian, but that's mainly posturing. The theories of sexual liberation (see the French left's petition to abolish the age of consent) and gay pride (Harry Hay and NAMBLA) are foundationally inseperable from pedophilia.

hebephilia, paedophilia and ephebophilia are all mental illnesses.

This is what people refer to as "classical liberalism".

The woke today is more statist/authoritarian

I didn't mean Libertarians were Woke. Maybe that came out wrong. I meant the Left overall got pushed out by the Woke. And I will never understand how such insanity not only came about and grew but totally took over. And wow they are hostile to anyone who doesn't share their delusions. They actually label you guilty of genocide if you want to talk about biology logically.

There is no more left-wing/right-wing.

There is woke authoritarian socialism where the left used to be, and then everyone else, most of whom just want to be left the fuck alone.

Where is this authoritarian socialism? I'm a leftist from Poland and have quite a good understanding of some countries in European Union which are trying to get closer to social-democracy in opposition to pure neo-capitalism, but I never heard of one 1st world country that is socialist.

If you're an American, then there's a big chance those things that are considered as socialist are normal even for economical right-wingers in EU.

Wow, what did we ever do to get compared to r/incels and r/The_Donald? TBH I think if people think our movement is right wing, they just haven't looked into it. They're the types to smear everything as -ist or -phobic, and they can't imagine any left wing or non-partisan criticisms of the trans movement, they just pretend we must hate trans people rather than that we have legitimate criticisms not based in hatred

That's most likely it. Anybody that thinks that we want the TQ+ separated from LGB means that we're a bigot according to them

ShitLiberalsSay(This is a communist subreddit, that says that liberals and democrats are right wing, when they are not),

Um that's just blatantly wrong. There are SOME democrats who are left wing but the vast majority of the party is right wing. Liberalism is just right wing corporatism wrapped in "woke" reactionary leftist language. Look at Biden's cabinet picks. They are all right wing corporate lobbyists... Who happen to be some flavor of POC.

Yea, people who are this politically ignorant aren't to be trusted on "political biases". I bet the author here couldn't form a coherent argument against identity politics if they tried. They just hate it because. P.S. straght-up commie here, and not the radlib kind.

Numerous authors on that site are Core Centennials/Gen Z so...

Corporatism does not mean corporatocracy (rule by big businesses). Corporatism is the economic system advocated by many 20th century fascists; the fascist corporation is akin to a guild or union, serving to mediate disputes between employers and labor.

Some of them are core Centennial/Gen Z, so I kinda expect them to be ignorant of politics

It is easy to demonize when you don’t understand nuance, or if you think in black and white.

It is too hard for these people to grasp that politics is not the only reason someone can wholeheartedly disagree with what you do, say, and distribute. I probably disagree on average on almost every political issue with the original sub’s userbase about 50-100% depending on the issue at hand. I’m more leftward than right, and despite that we share a common frustration with what the T says and does, and the realization of how little the T really belongs in a category for sexual orientation. I think gender is 100% bullshit, I am a leftmost democrat and I am by far not the only one among the sub’s original users or userbase here. They hate hearing that, because their whole thing is smearing their opponents as hateful bigots.... but here’s the problem, we as LGB are their opponents, and so everyone knows we’re not hateful bigots (at least when it comes to orientation)— but they know people would see through that argument so rather than find an alternative or rebuttal, they have to silence us instead so people can’t hear what we are saying and have been saying since the 90s.

TLDR it is easier to lie and silence than rebut or debate, or let people come to their own conclusion so cult like tactics is the preference.
