That's true. As long as we have moderately powerful PCs, there is 0 reason to buy a console today. It wasn't this way during the NES or SNES generations, because most PC games were a joke until id software really jump-started the PC game scene. And even late in the SNES generation, when the 486 and sound cards and CD-ROM were a force to be reckoned with as far as PC game capabilities go, a lot of well-regarded 2D games were only available on consoles.

Now a console is just an ultra-locked down PC with less features and flexibility/functionality, and most games are released on the PC anyway.

Yeah my therapist is trying to help me more on focusing what I need to do to move on more. Like I've been talking about getting a job (I have an appointment with a job coach next week to look at job listings), hopefully going into special Olympics as an athlete next year, going to a club for autistic people, going to parks and recs activities for special needs people in the fall, I've been reading more books, watching TV, going on walks, doing skin and hair care, hopefully getting a car so I can learn basic car mechanic work (I have books for that I plan on reading), going to sew some things again etc. I also plan on going to speech therapy and maybe occupational therapy for autism as well.

Don't get hung up on all the fancy letters. Don't get hung up on trying to understand it all. Understand it to the point where ypu need to to have an understanding of what the red flags are, and never throw them away again.

I'm like you, I dove so hard into what BPD was, talked about it all the time, wanted to understand it all. But it doesn't help. It helps to a degree, but then it just consumes you, slowing down your progress.

A good therapist(there aren't very many by the way) wouldn't even let you speak about the BPD or the other person in your situation. They would make you talk about you, getting you down the road to healing and indifference much much faster than dwelling on a person and her actions. And why do that anyway, you weren't a person to her, you were a shiny toy to play with, why give her the satisfaction of existence?

There is so much redundancy in an aircraft and so many inspections from inside and outside the manufacturer/airline or transport company/facility/FAA. That said, from what I have seen first hand with some of the people who work on these larger aircraft, I try to not think of them when I fly. The first transgender person I spent a significant amount of time with was my niece's girlfriend who identified as a boy at a time. I was supportive. I figured they must have a male brain, but it didn't take long to realize there wasn't a single male thing about the girl.

And their transgenderism was not a positive influence on her life. She spent a lot of time imagining hate and persecution that simply did not exist. And we wasted a lot of time searching for single occupancy bathrooms for her, even though nobody gave a damn when she'd go into the men's room.

It all seemed like a stupid sham, to see a girl who was obviously a girl, who thinks like a girl, talks like a girl, acts like a girl, pretend she was a guy.
