Trans attempts to ban and censor anyone voicing support for SuperStraight are enabling the Streisand Effect, and it is GLORIOUS. by [deleted] in LGBDropTheT

Problem is reddit, tiktok and etc, the admins at the top, are ready to ban this stuff in a blink.

Also since TiA stuff is getting filled with more trans related stuff, I'm kinda scared we are gonna lose TiA.

dont see why you would be pissed off at all. They are just confused that a gay club is all transwomen. And the comments also agree with you. That theyre toxic to "cis gay men"

For validation? Like wanting them to acknowledge them? You know how SJWs look for things to be outraged over even when its something benign? This post comes off as the same thing, looking to be mad. This is a benign post that he linked. In fact the comments talk about hostility to " cis gay men" in their circles.

yeah its actually a sane thread. In fact seems like a sane subreddit too. They literally have a thread about how repeating twaw is cultlike.

Tbh i think you have the wrong take here. This seems fine to me. You know how some people on this sub have been annoyed that when they go to lgbt gathering and only see trans and nb? Hes saying the same exact thing. That it sucks no cis man is there. That its a shitty situation. And in the comments they talk about hate against "cis gay men ". Whats wrong with this post?

And then the top thread in the subreddit talks about how repeating transwomen are women sounds very cultish and doesn't help. And then one of the comments said he doesnt care how people seem them in their head as long as they respect his pronouns. This is the most sane trans sub I've ever seen.

at first they made a distinction as "female being sex, women being gender", and now that people are using that point to point out differences, they're blurring the word usage there too

I assumed they were more sane. they're the ones who think that not anyone can be trans, you need to have a medical condition.

Many actually claim so.

But like, thing is,they're still males. So why would you have to be attracted to them? Sexual orientation is natural, why do we have to be attracted to males?

one things that bothers me. You can't fully change your sex, thats for sure. But if "gender is a social construct", then like hormone therapy to develop secondary sexual characteristics, and genital surgery, those aren't affecting social constructs right? So its not affecting gender. So wtf are they affecting?

does the whole "no therapy at all vs therapy w/o genital surgery vs therapy w/ genital surgery" change anything? because being a dude liking a transwoman who isn't even on therapy is totally gay.

I think liking someone with "therapy w/ genital surgery" is a very gray zone.

[–]aftx 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

its a weird duality. like black people face racism from many people in many instances, and overall their community is way more poor. so then they get AA and also get "power" in certain circles to say "I'm a black person so you have to listen to me"

trans people have totally hard time finding dating partners, etc. and for the longest time they were treated like complete freaks. So now certain circles give them power.

The way I understand it, its more that they're incoherent in their ideology. they want to use "gender and sex are different!" as a reason why they should be called women or men.(though then the name gender dysphoria makes no sense, if its a social construct?) Once everyone "learned" that they want you to forget sex as a thing, or that its irrelevant. Some are even attacking the idea of sex being real. remembering it is somehow bigoted. Then you have the nonbinary weirdos who totally destroy the whole "trans people are naturally having dysphoria" by making gender a free for all.

for most of time in western history, sex=gender. some dude called john money said so otherwise in 1955, but that didn't hit mainstream until the Obama era.
